I was thinking,

Chatterbox: Inkwell

I was thinking,

I was thinking, we could start a new story chain. You make up a new character, but they CAN'T be from the 21st century (they'll wind up there later). They have to be related to someone famous but NOT an actor, actress, singer, etc.

Mine is: Dehlia Ludington.

Related to a heroine of the American Revolution: Sybil Ludington.

Lives in Fredericksburg NY, 1777

Suddenly transported to the 21st century.

Age: Unkown

Short length blonde hair, blue-gray eyes, exactly 5 feet, rather pale.

Personality: Quiet most of the time, yet speaks out passionately when its something she cares about, strong, dependable, loving.

Hope ya'll like my idea!

@ True; Cool! I perhaps want a bow too! I LOVE archery! Or maybe a knife, for knife fighting. Oh, and don't worry about not knowing what to say. I often feel that way. And don't worry about encroaching on other people's characters. Just write what you think should happen next, or even just your own character's viewpoint of what has been happening. That's what I do quite a bit. It adds to the story, and helps to know what to write next!

She also is prone to saying/doing awkward or embarrassing things and dislikes talking to rude people. Lucy likes the idea of tea and cookies, though she doesn't really have time for tea (unfortunately).

Bob, a cavedude

He is distantly related to Albert Einstein.

Age: He never bothered to count.

From before civilization, lives in a cave on a groovy beach that nobody but him goes to, so he's his own lifeguard

He's covered in hair, wears sunglasses and swimtrunks, and has a cool surfboard (though since there are no beach shops or sunglasses places in his time, I've no idea how he got any of that stuff).

My idea for how this character gets to the 21st century: a giant chicken attacks the floating city of metoopolis in 2037, and the only guy who can save them is a cavedude, so the famous scientist Rudger Kilobyte makes a time machine and travels back in time, and Bob is the only cavedude since none of the other cavemen tote sunglasses and a surfboard like he does, so Rudger brings Bob to 2037, and he must learn how to use his cavedude/caveman qualities to fight the giant chicken. Everybody can come up with alternate endings to this in the comments.

I was kinda waiting for other people's opinion, but I guess some have just stopped writing, soo.. I guess I'll write the next part. Also, sorry L! I didn't realize I hadn't put the website on there *face palm* It's called Jaroo. It's really cool! I used to watch episodes of Strawberry Shortcake on there too! So, anyhoot, here's the story...

Dehlia ~

"We're going to do whatever it takes," I say firmly. "We need to figure out where that man went. Perhaps... Maybe we should split up. We could cover more ground that way. Groups of two or three."

Okay, yes, it's really short, but I want to know what ya'll think about splitting up, then, how should we do it? Who wants to go with who?

Hi! I have been tracking this thread, just haven't posted.

Aboout the weapons. I like the idea and everything, but I have just realized one thing. No offence at all, but where are we going to get them? We have no money (right? If we do, would the coins be changed to modern U.S. nickels, dollars, cents?). We could get a knife (or use Exillia's) and carve a bow. But an arrow, sword, or a big knife? I'm not so sure.

Yeah, to be truthful it's a little far out. How 'bout we stick with what we've got?

Yeah *scatches back of head* heh, I kinda got so geeked about the idea, when it came time to right it, I realized the same thing. So... Maybe we'll skip the whole weapon thing, unless someone has some idea how. Like, maybe Dehlia can know how to carve a bow, and... where to get a knife...? Anyhoot.

The only "advanced" kind of weaponry I can think of is Errol's watch. It could be some kind of energy-blasty-thing...

Okay, I'm outta ideas, so, forget my weapon geeky faze, and skip the weapons. Moving on. Also, potential splitting up, who should go with who?
