The Apartment:
By Lena G

For my first twelve years I lived in a cramped, dirty, city apartment. There were two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen-dining room, and that was it. Only six other families lived in the apartment. And while I knew nicer apartments existed ‘the apartment’ always evoked that one, where the only window looked out onto a brick wall and at night, my younger brother Micah and I could hear screams coming from the room next door. I had friends there, though – all of us kids had formed the Grayson Apartment Society. It was a great club. But I never really appreciated it. All I wished for was to get out of The Apartment and to live in a house all our own.

Until we all moved.

What do you all think?

You never post all of it. It depresses me. I always have to figure out my own endings. Cry Why is it that the emoticons are always yellow? Nobody has skin that color! I mean, unless they have yellow fever or something...
