Questions RP

Questions RP

So I started a "Questions" thread in Down to Earth and I was thinking it could be turned into an RP, so here it is!

Here are the original questions:

1. Describe your interests, activities, and hobbies. Describe what you do in your spare time. Explain why you’ve gotten interested in these things. (You may include your favorite T.V. programs, magazines, sports, ect.)

2.What do you like to read? Who is your favorite author? If you were on a deserted island, which books would you want to have with you?

3.Describe your passions of learning and how you are currently pursuing them.

4.What do you believe is the most important event, discovery, or development of the last few years and why?

5.Describe any talents you have. How do you demonstrate them?

I also answered the questions Name, age, and town. Lots of people answered, and there haven't been very many RPs right now. So, I was thinking we could all make a new character or keep our old one.

Hehehe! This is gonna be fun!

Whitney ~

I stared out through the crack in the window. The police shot past, not braking once. Good, I lost 'em! I thought happily. The police always thought they were getting smarter, about to get the drop on me. They never did. I stood up, and sauntered out the front door. The house I'd been hiding in was abandoned, which made it perfect for my hideout. Hardly any neighbors, those I had feared me, which was good, cause it kept their traps shut.

If anybody were to randomly see me, let alone meet me, on the street, they'd know I was trouble. I was dressed in black jeans, dark brown lace up boots, a dark blue tshirt, and one of those jackets with long sleeves and short body made out of black denim as well, with an army green army cap, which was kinda ironic.

I casually strolled down the street, passing by small stores just opening for the morning. I passed by the car sales lot, and stopped dead. The new Aston Martin V12 Vantage S (Top Gear is wonderful for car education!), was openly on display, attempting to draw customers in. The temptation was too much! Glancing around, I casually snuck up, if you can casually sneak, up to the car. It glinted in the sun, just welcoming a joy ride. The lot was vacant, and the police were already on a wild goose chase, no one to stop me! I lifted the hood just enough, and got started, reconnecting wires.

Finally, I climbed out, oil smugged on my face, but quite pleased. Suddenly, the hairs on my neck stood up. I spun around. A boy, about my age, stood behind me. He was evidently trying to figure out what I was up too. WELL! No sense in pretending!

"Come here," I waved at him. He came, much to my relief. "What are you.." But he didn't have time to finish the sentence. I grabbed him, and shoved him into the car. I jumped into the drivers seat, and stuck a paper clip into the ignition. The engine roared to life. The lot manager, finally having noticed the commotion, came running out. I gunned it, and the car shot forward. I screamed a laugh in absolute pleasure. The boy next to me had a horrified look, which just made the experience all the better. This is gonna be doubly fun! I though, a wide grin spreading over my face.

**********************************************************************

So, Lexi, the boy is Millard. I thought this might be an exciting way for them to meet. If you don't like that, we can just pretend he isn't there. I don't mind either way! (it's fun making a phycotic character!)

NOTE TO ALL!!! I DO NOT know how to steal a car! This is just what I IMAGINE!!!

Okay! This'll be great for Millard. He's not doing much right now.

Millard~

"MILLARD! ARE YOU GOING TO HELP YOUR FATHER WITH THE BAKERY OR NOT?!" my mother screamed from below.

"YES." I shouted back. "I'LL BE THERE IN A SECOND."

"YOU'LL BE HERE RIGHT NOW, MILLARD JOHNSON!!!"

I groaned and walked down the stairs.

"You can get something to eat at the bakery," Mother said when she saw me eyeing what I still wasn't sure if it was oatmeal.

"Fine," I said. I grabbed my cap and my coat and headed out the door. At least I wasn't being screamed at... for long. Father was sure to be angry for my lateness.

Lateness. Eight thirty. I shook my head, walking down main street to the bakery. I passed a car dealer's and stopped.

A girl dressed in an outfit that suggested trouble was working in the hood of a car. Does she work there? I wondered. She didn't appear to.

She closed the hood, a satisfied smile set on her face. Yet, in less than a moment, she was spinning around to glare at me. I felt as though I had been the one caught doing a crime.

I'm going to be late, I thought, and then reminded myself, You already are.

"Come here," she said waving.

Don't do it, I thought to myself, no, no, no, NO!

Against my own common sense, I took three steps forward to greet her. "What are you--"

The girl grabbed me by the coat and threw me in the car, like a pile of sticks. "WHAT?!" I screamed. "WHAT IS GOING ON?!"

The girl jumped in the driver seat, started up the ignition WITH A PAPER CLIP, and as the engine hollered above all of the other noise, she laughed, LAUGHED, and drove off as the lot manager ran after. She broke into a grin as she drove down mainstreet, a horrified look crossing my face.

"WHAT IS GOING ON?!" I screamed, for the third time in the last five minutes.

Name: Geoffrey Lindberry, but most people call me Jeff

Age: 15

Town: just outside of New York City

1. I'm in a band.  We're still trying to think up a name, but we mainly do Beatles and other classic rock covers.  The other guitarist, Lucas, is trying to write some songs for us.  I play guitar in the band normally, but I can also play drums, bass guitar, piano, mandolin, and violin.  I don't like to play violin, but my parents force me.  I'm only allowed to play my other instruments if I practice violin once a week.

I used to play football when I was little.  I was the star player, too.  Then I tore my ACL and needed a ton of surgery.  My parents wouldn't let me play after that, so I picked up the guitar (I had already been playing the violin) and the rest is history.  I really got into music and learned how to play a lot of instruments.

2. To be completely honest, I don't read much.  Rick Riordan's not bad, though.

3. I love learning about music.  I play violin in my school orchestra and also take a music theory class given by the conductor.

4. That's a hard one.  Maybe the iPhone?  I can't live without mine.

5. See the answer to number one.

I'm sorry, he's obnoxious already. :P  I tried to round him out, but he seems very single-minded.

Whitney ~

"WHAT'S GOING ON?!" The boy next to me shouts. I glance over at him, still grinning. "This, my dear unlearned friend, is the new Aston Martin V12  Vantage S! And you get the privilage of taking a joy ride in it with me!" He looked over at me with a horrified expression.

"DO YOU EVEN HAVE A DRIVERS LICENSE?!" he shouted at me.

I roared in laughter. This struck me as extremely funny. "Nope! But don't worry, when I was ten I came into possession of a go cart! I quickly taught myself to drive on some bigger scale stuff! Look at me now!"

We shot through down town, people screaming and running out of the way. I took a hard right, the car swerving, knocking over a mail box, sending letter scattering everywhere. We shot down the street, weaving slightly. I screamed in pure joy. The boy next to me screamed in pure terror. We soon entered into a long, empty back road, and I let loose, quickly building speed.

"Come on! You've got to admit this is great!" The boy just looked at me with huge eyes. I suddenly heard sirens behind us. I looked in the rear-view mirror. A police car had shown up behind us. "Hold on!" I hollered. I slammed on brakes and turned hard.

Gloria-

School. That was my destination this morning. How fun.

Since I did not eat breakfast this morning I decided to stop at my favorite bakery to get two blackberry lemon scones. Delicious!

As I was walking down the street I saw the dark silhouette of a female push the bakery boy into a car. Watching, I didn't know what to do. This was awful, but it gave me some excitement . I ran into the bakery and told bakery boy's dad the problem that unfolded nearby. He handed me the phone and I called the cops.

Never mind school today, I had a crime to stop.

Millard~

"Come on! You have to admit this is great!!!"

I merely stared at the girl who had stolen a car and me along in it.

Police sirens blared from behind us. "Hold on!" the crazy girl shouted and hit the pedal, zooming down the streets like a maniac.

"WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?!" I yelled over the sirens.

"SOMEONE AWESOME!!!" answered the girl. We turned a sharp corner that we almost missed.

I turned around to look out the back window. The police car was still following us... with Gloria in the passenger seat? I recognised her from arund town. She liked to plant flowers and was always taking apart clocks. She often bough blueberry scones from the bakery. That's probably what she had been doing this morining, and she had seen me shoved in the car.

"HELP!!!" I shouted at the police car, but the couldn't hear me. They saw me, of course, but they were rapidly falling behind.

"One thing about police," said the girl, still driving like a maniac, "is that they don't pass over the speed limit."

What was happining? I had no idea what was happining. I was in a car with someone who by this state I could assume was crazy, and the police were after us. "Does this happen every day to you?" I asked dizzily.

"Yep," she grinned. "You know, you're not to bad at this car stealing thing. Except for yelling at the coppers to catch us."

"What?! All I've done has been get kiddnaped, thrown in a car, and drivin crazily down the street!"

"Exactly. The thing is, you noticed me. I can't have any witnesses of me stealing the car."

"So what are you going to do to me?!"

"I don't know yet," she said, smiling as we turned onto the highway, "but I feel at this point it's okay to tell you my name. I'm Whitney," she held out a hand for me to shake, the other one on the driver's wheel.

I shook it. There wasn't anything else to do. "Millard," I said, hoping that what ever Whitney had in store for me, I could make it better by getting on her good side.

Okay first, that entry was awesome! I laughed so hard!

Whitney ~

I knew I had to do something with this kid. But I have to admit, it was fun to have an accomplice! I had also previously noticed a girl sitting in the passengers seat of one of the police cars. Since when did they let kids fight crime? If I had known that, then maybe I'd be on the other side of the law!

I suddenly yanked hard on the wheel, nearly makin us fish tail, then floored it once again. We shot through a field, heading toward the woods. I can't tell you what an exhileration driving that car gave me! A wide grin spread over my face, and I lauged like the lunatic I was.

"So Millard," I asked watching him out of the corner of my eye. We were heading into the rural area of the outskirts of town, and I could hardly see the cops in my rear view mirror. "Where do you live? Who are your folks?"

"My dad's the local baker. I live in a house not far from the there," Millard replied.

"Uhu," I said, thinking hard. I took a round-a-bout way, cutting through the outer woods, circling. Partly cause I wanted to make sure I lost the coppers, and partly cause I didn't want Millard to know exactly where we were. I pulled up in front of an abandoned farm house I called home. I pulled up into a dilapidated barn, and shut the ignition off. I climbed out, and walked around to the other side of the car where Millard was climbing out. I grabbed an old tarp made out of horse blankets I'd roughly stitched together, and threw it over the car.

I spun on heel and faced Millard, who had been inching toward the door. "Try anything," I said still smiling, as I grabbed the collar of his coat, "and you just might regret it."

I herded him into the house, still holding his collar, shoved him into the parlor, and shut the door. I paced back and forth in front of him, thinking.

"I'm prepared to make you a proposition!" I said, stopping suddenly to face him. I grinned hugely. "I'd like you to become my partner!"

Gloria~

It takes the cops a while to pick me up, even though I thought police were supposed to be speedy. The whole situation is angering me. I mean, someone was KIDNAPPED and the police are acting like it was a loose dog.

One of the two police cars come pick me up. I opened the door to the front seat, not wanting to sit in the back like a criminal. Then, off we went...at only 45 mph. *sigh* This was not how I imagined this would go. We were slowly, but surely, losing them around the corner. It looks like I'd have to take matters into my own hands.

After the police lost sight of them, they dropped me off at the street corner, instead of taking me to a safe spot like school. Perfect! As soon as the cops were out of sight, I took off after the car. It wasn't that hard to catch up, as soon as the cops left, the car slowed down then turned into what looked like an old abandoned house. Not wanting to draw attention to myself, I quickly started to pretend to plant flowers along the side of the road.

Looking out the corner of my eye, I saw the suspect, a girl, pull Millard into the house. Now's my chance. I strolled towards the house. When I reached the porch, a hand reached out and covered my mouth. "Don't scream", the voice said.

Millard~

I felt miserable.

First of all, I had agreed to Whitney's offer, even though every inch of my body was telling me not to.

Second of all was the first thing I did as her partner in crime.

______________________

"Okay," Whitney said with a grin. "First things first, we've got to get that girl off our trail."

"Gloria?!" I exclaimed. "She was with the police. We lost her."

"Is that her name? Well, we didn't lose her. She followed us here."

"WHAT?!"

"Shh! Just because she knows we're here doesn't mean she needs to know that we know that she's here!"

I bluntly raised an eyebrow. "Sorry?" My apology was more of a question.

"Okay, so here's the plan."

I wish I had closed my ears for the plan. I wish I had walked by the girl who was stealing a car. I wish I had woken up early and gotten to the bakery hours before this would've happened.

"Don't scream," I hear myself say, my hand covering Gloria's mouth. I can't even believe I'm doing this.

I wait a few seconds for her to scream, but she doesn't, and I lead her into the house.

"Could you open the door?" I ask when we get to the door knob. "Thanks for not screaming by the way."

Gloria nods, frightened. I don't think she realises it's me. She opens the door.

I squeeze my eyes shut, hating the next part of the plan.

Gloria~

I didn't scream, although I really wanted to. Screaming would possibly put me in more danger than I was already in.

Gosh, I hope Millard is alright. That girl looked menacing in her dark clothes. I wonder if the person covering my mouth is part of the same club Millard's captor is part of. Speaking of Millard, would I be put in the same room as him?

My captor interrupted my thoughts by asking me to open the door and thanking me for not screaming. Odd, usually in the movies kidnappers don't thank the kidnapped for not doing something.

I did as was asked of me, too afraid to disobey. When we got inside the house a new person, a girl,  entered the room. "Here's the rope and blindfold", she said handing me captor the objects. I still couldn't see who my captor was, because he or she had me facing the wall.

First the rope was used to bind my wrist together behind me back. Then, the blindfold was placed over my eyes and secured with a knot. "If you don't scream or call for help, we won't gag you but if you do...", my captor stopped at that.  I shook my head, "I won't scream". "Good", my captor said. Then, holding onto my shoulders he or she pushed my into another room. "We're going down steps, so be careful", my captor warned.

As we descended, the air became chilled and a bit smelly. My captor brought me to chair and told me to sit. I sat as he or she tied my to the chair. "Wait here and don't do anything rash. We'll be back later", my captor said as he or she walked up the stairs.

"Millard? Millard?", I called softly into the darkness. No one answered. He probably wasn't down here.

Sorry I haven't written! I've been so busy!

Whitney ~

I flung myself into an old, overstuffed Lazboy, throwing my legs over the arm. "Well, that was fun!" I say, grinning. I was thoroughly enjoying my role! Millard sat across from me in an old rocker, looking quite uneasy.

"Oh, lighten up," I said airily, waving my hand. "This is supposed to be fun! You're doin a great job as my assistant. We've already got our first hostage. We are taking huge leaps here!" I leaned back, thinking hard.

"I've come to a decision!" I said, jumping up. "We'll get ourselves another partner!"

"Another partner?" Millard asked. "You don't mean..."

"Yup!" I said, leading the way back down the stairs.

I threw open the door, and led the way inside. The girl was sitting still in her chair. She perked up slightly when we entered. I marched over, and yanked the blindfold off. I knelt down in front of her, and stared her dead in the eye. I was normally a pretty happy-go-lucky type person, but I could be serious when I wanted to be. And for some reason, I unnerved people far more when I was serious, then when I was being crazy.

"I have a proposition for you," I said. "I already have one accomplice here, but I could use another. You're already here, and you know where I am. So, will you?"

*********************************************************************

@ Teresa:So, I was thinking. Since she's here, maybe she could join as well. If you don't want to, you can change that.

Gloria~

The girl gave me a decision that I didn't want to make. It wasn't my nature to be a criminal, but I didn't have a choice. It was either agree or face the consequences. "Fine," I said, "But, I'm not going to hurt anyone". The girl rolled her eyes, "Do you really think I'd cause someone pain or hurt?" "Uh...", I muttered, not truely trusting her. "Whatever, you don't have to answer that. I'm Whitney, by the way", she said sticking out her hand. I shook it, "Gloria".

Whitney brought me upstairs to a dingy room where Millard sat looking quite uncomfortable. I was glad that he was okay, he must have agreed to the deal too. "Hi Millard!" I said. He mumbled 'hi' back, but wouldn't look me in the eyes, instead he stared at his feet. "I see you two have met each other, so I won't bother with introductions," Whitney said, "Gloria, your first task is..."
