Questions RP

Questions RP

So I started a "Questions" thread in Down to Earth and I was thinking it could be turned into an RP, so here it is!

Here are the original questions:

1. Describe your interests, activities, and hobbies. Describe what you do in your spare time. Explain why you’ve gotten interested in these things. (You may include your favorite T.V. programs, magazines, sports, ect.)

2.What do you like to read? Who is your favorite author? If you were on a deserted island, which books would you want to have with you?

3.Describe your passions of learning and how you are currently pursuing them.

4.What do you believe is the most important event, discovery, or development of the last few years and why?

5.Describe any talents you have. How do you demonstrate them?

I also answered the questions Name, age, and town. Lots of people answered, and there haven't been very many RPs right now. So, I was thinking we could all make a new character or keep our old one.

Sure, thanks! Should I write from my point next or should I wait until you "find" me?

Okay, sorry! I've been incredibley busy! But, no more lame excuses. I will try to write you in, Legion I!

@ Teresa: No, I don't think it was far-fetched at all! I think it was a really neat idea!

Whitney ~

I was, needless to say, slightly stunned that a gorilla was giving me first aid. I knew Gloria and Millard were too. I allowed it to bandage my wound, and help me up. Why? I wasn't exactly sure. Had it been anyone else, I would have shrugged off their help. I hated feeling like an invalid, or feeling needy of anyone. I could do just fine on my own. But this was... different, somehow. I wasn't sure how to describe it, but somehow, I didn't mind it. The gorilla led us to the opposite side of the enclosure where a door stood hidden in foliage, evidently where caretakers entered and exited. The gorilla snorted, and nodded toward the door. I got the feeling though, it wasn't just trying to show us the way out. I peered through the door, and caught the flash of a shadow. I waved at Gloria and Millard to remain silent, and to hide. We slipped off in foliage on either side of the door, and waited. A few seconds later, the doornob startled to rattle, and then the door silently swung open. I motioned to Gloria and Millard on the count of three.

One. Two. Three... We lunged out of the dark, and I hit the figure the figure full force, knocking them to the ground. We wrestled around, rolling on top of each other, till Millard and Gloria finally helped me pin them down. A patch of light shown from a pathway and I stared down into the face of a... girl!

"What the heck?!" I shouted, jumping off of her. "Who the heck are you?!"

She stood up, brushing herself off. "I'm not sure I'm obligated to answer that, and I could ask the same thing of you," she said, sounding annoyed. I guess I couldn't blame her. We'd probably just given her a heart attack, plus tackled her to the ground. I guess I'd be annoyed too.

"Okay, well... What are you doing here?" I asked.

She eyed me suspiciously. "Depends," she answered. "What are you doing here?" We were getting nowhere. Fast. I decided to play a little gamble.

"We're freein' the animals," I said bluntly. She stared at us for a second, then grinned slightly. "Me too."

At this I grinned hugely. We might have just found a new recruit!

"We're freein' the animals," I said bluntly.

"Me too," I found myself saying.

"You want to join us?" she grinned,"We've already released the gators,"

I nearly choked on that thought--my plan was to free the sloths first, seeing how they were much slower.

"Sure," I agreed. Ever since my father's died, my  life's become a nightmare, so why not join them? It'll be the equivalent, I thought. I'd stayed in the forest with the little money I had after running away from my foster parents, two elderly people who were about as boring as nothing. All the stuff my dad got me was still intact, and I'd survived on that fine.

"Let's go get the snakes next," she suggested.

What did I just get myself into?

Whitney ~

"Let's go free the snakes next!" I said. No one seemed overly enthusiastic about this idea.

"Come on," I said half groaning, half laughing. "After facing down crocs, this should be a cinch!"

Gloria and Millard looked at each other, then shrugged.

"All right," the new girl said. We headed toward the door.

"Thank you, gorillas!" I said with a salute as we headed out. We strode along the enclosures, heading toward the reptile section.

I walked up to the new girl, whose name I had still yet to know.

"So I suppose we can't keep calling you new girl, so what's your name?"

"Nikki," she replied. I grinned. "Well I'm Whitney, and this is Millard and Gloria."

"Good to meet you," Nikki said. We reached the snake enclosure. Heating lights shone in each enclosure, warming the snakes.

"Let's spread out!" I said giddily. We started moving down the exhibits. After a few moments, I shouted out, "Hey guys, check this out!" I stood in front of a particularly large exhibit. Gloria looked at down at the information plaque, then into the enclosure, then back at the plaque.

"You've GOT to be kidding me," she said.

"Bubbles the Anaconda?" Millard asked.

"YEAH! We'll free this one first!" I said rushing to the maintenance door.

I really have visited a zoo where they had a giant snake, like a python or boa that was named something like Bubbles or Buttercup!

Gloria~

Bubbles? Who names an anaconda Bubbles? I shook my head, all the more reason to free the animals!

Whitney ran over to the maintenance door, giddy with excitement. "Bubbles!" she exclaimed. When she opened the door, a loud hissing sound escaped. Whitney yelped, but quickly regained her composure. Nikki came running to her side, but Millard and I stayed back; we had learned our lesson from the gator episode.

Bubbles slithered forward and wrapped itself around Whitney and Nikki's feet tightly. It continued to curl itself up. "Um, guys. A little help over here!" Nikki called out to us. Whitney and Nikki were trying to kick Bubbles off, but their attempt was in vain.

"I don't know what to do!" I called out to the helpless victims of the sweet sounding name Bubbles.  I looked around, but I saw nothing I could use for defense.

Millard ran another snakes cage named Zipper. Standing back and closing his eyes, he slowly opened the door. Zipper came zipping out. Bubbles tilted his head toward Zipper and quickly unwound himself fromt the legs of Whitney and Nikki.

The two snakes collided and went into a full fledged fight.

"All right Millard!" Whitney said, giving him a high hive. "Let's free the other snakes, then make like a tree and leave," Nikki suggested.

Since the snakes were busy fighting themselves, we decided that it would be best to free the rest of the snakes, then move on.

....AND I haven't been here in awhile, have I? So, Bubbles. Good luck, everyone.

Millard~

"Hey guys!" Whitney shouted at Gloria, Niki and I. "Check this out!" We ran over to the exhibit.

Gloria, who got there first said "You've GOT to be kidding me."

I scanned over the information plaque. "Bubbles the Anaconda?"

"YEAH!" Whitney shouted. "We'll free this one first!" She ran over to the maintenance door.

"You guys," I looked around, nervously. "You might want to quiet down just a tad bit."

"Quiet, smiat," Whitney scoffed. "No one's here! Except for the animals, and they won't be much longer."

I looked over at Bubbles, who hissed at me, and gulped.

"We handled the alligators," said Gloria determinatly. "We can do this."

With a wild grin Whitney threw open the door to Bubble's exhibit.

SORRY! I've been meaning to write forever! I actually started a piece, but then it got erased, and I was sore and tired, and nearly MURDERED my computer over it, so I decided to break for then. So that is my sorry, pathetic, pitiful excuse for not having written. That, and my novel has started to frustrate me.

Whitney ~

We quickly moved on, freeing the rest of the snakes along with the rest of the reptiles, careful not to be strangled again, though we did have a few close calls. We moved on, releasing the slightly easier animals; koalas, sloths, birds, though sadly, we were unable to release any fish or sharks. We released the hyenas and wild dogs. I wanted to keep one as a pet, though somehow they ran off before I was able to get near. I suspected Millard and Gloria had something to do with that. Giraffes came next, then rhinos and lions. I'm pretty sure we all had heart attacks with those las two, even me.

"I think that most everything," Nikki said stretching. It was about four am, and the early zoo keepers would be there soon. I racked my brain for what we might have missed, then it hit me. I got a huge grin on my face.

"Okay, what is it?" Millard asked, he and Gloria already having become used to my irrational and random ways.

---

"How are we supposed to get up there?" Nikki demanded, looking up. We stood in the elephant containment, the two animals standing by calmly.

"Like this," I said. I backed up to the far rear wall, and ran toward the elephant. I used a crate as a spring board, and launched up onto the elephant's back. It shifted it's footing slightly, but didn't protest.

"Come on! We'll ride them out!" I said giddly, bouncing in anticipation.

Wow that's a great idea...

Nikki Cystelle:

"Come on! We'll ride them out!" Whitney said.

Or was she Gloria? I'm not that good with names, especially with people. With animals, there's so many more clues.

"I'll go next," I volunteered. I might as well show my courage now, since the group didn't seem as enthusiastic as Whitney and I.

I took the wooden crate and started climbing the fence. It wasn't so hard after learning to to jump park fences and the few other zoos I've "saved" animals from. The nearest elephant was the female in the tribe. The elephantidae, according to the scientific names website I searched it up on. The sun had barely started to rise when Whitney hit the "emergency exit" for the animals. RIIIIIIIINNGGG!!!!!! The alarm bell practically exploded my ear off. I ran for the bell and quickly hit the "mute" sign to save our elephant's extremely sensitive ears.

"Time to get going," Whitney grinned.

Great. Several sleepy looking zoologists wandered past our exit, but none of them noticed us.

"But why did you have to mute the alarm? It would've been so much more fun," she whined.

Yeah, right. As fun as being stampeded by the elephants.

Okay, I'm back from the freaking dead! NaNoWriMo was hard, so I had to neglect the RPs I was in. Sorry!

Whitney ~

"But why did you have to mute the alarm? It would've been so much more fun," I said. It would have been fun, but apparently, not one else thought so. Once everyone was on, I kicked my heels into the side of an elephant like a horse back rider would have done. At first nothing happened.

"How do you get these things to move?" I demanded. Then a thought struck me. I pulled out the whip I'd gotten from the gift shop, which I had tucked into my belt, and gave the elephant a quick lick. Not enough to hurt it, but enough to give it the idea that it needed to move. And it did. It backed up a few feet, emitting a loud trumpeting noise, then started forward. I did the same to Gloria's, Millard's, and Nikki's as we passed, and we were thundering up the zoo path like, well, a herd of elephants!

"This is AWESOME!" I shouted in glee as panicked zoo keepers dove out of the way, yelling for help, 911, and the police all at once into their walkie talkies. Note, whenever you break out of a zoo after bustin' out the animals, always choose the elephant as your getaway. They're big, fast, strong, and people tend to get out of the way. Like if you changed your car horn to gun shot sounds, or your screeching, annoying, batty neighbor. Either method works.

We broke through the main gates, out into the parking lot. Many other animals were already out and about, getting their first taste of freedom.

As we passed by one of the trees in the parking lot, I gripped hold of a branch, sliding off its back. The others did the same. We stood watching as the animals stormed off into the early moring. I could already here the screeching of tires, much horn honking, and a great deal of yelling as people headed to work got an early mornig surpise.

"Well, that was fun," I said happily. "Back to HQ then?" Gloria and Millard smiled, and we started heading back toward the car.

"You wanna come?" I asked Nikki.

OKAY OKAY I"M COMING!!!!

This post was awesome, but no one else is posting!!

"You wanna come?" she asked me.

Hah, did I want to come? After she released ALL of the animals without the police knowing? Of COURSE I wanted to.

Suddenly-BLAHHH(whatever sound the siren makes goes here please)

Police officer cars swerved surrounding us into a circle.

"Put your hands in the a--What in the world are you three kids doing here?!" the police officer exclaimed.

"Uhhh... nothing sir. We were just on the way to call.. GET IN THE CAR!" Whitney shouted. I dove toward the half open door and pulled the clueless Gloria and Millard after me. Boom. Boom. My heart raced. Whitney shoved in her key and turned, then stepped on the gas pedal for all she was worth.

"No need for seatbelts today!" Whitney screamed,"WHOHOOOO!!! THIS IS AMAZING!!!" (sorry for my use of extreme punctuation)

I think I'm going to be sick again...
