Fairytale RP!

Fairytale RP!

So Tovah had once made something like this, and I miss it, so I'm going to recreate it. I was thinking that you could either do a twist on a classic fairytale hero or heroine, or make your own. They go to a private high school to learn to fight aliens.

I'm going to go with the same character I had before.

Name: Gretel Rose

Appearence; Chin-length golden hair that curves in on one side and
curves out on the other. Dark, sapphire-blue eyes, slightly pink cheeks,
pale, small, at 5 ft. Commonly wears long sleeve camo shirt with denim
capris and lace up hunting boots. Or jeans, black t-shirt with Slay Your Own Dragons and a sword
on fire, black hunting boots. Oftenwears a cap. Whether navy blue or
camo.

Personality; Strong, quiet, observant, hard core, ready to fight. Loyal, open, and cheerful around her friends.

Story; So, this is a Hansel and Gretel in the modern world. Southern
girl! Her parents ditched her in the backwoods of Tennessee, in the
Great Smokey Mountains. A hunter thought she and her brother game and
accidentally shot him. (Explains what happens to Hansel.)

Power; She has a strong sense of direction, can see in the dark. Also can channel people's feelings well. Knows what they're feeling.

Weapon: Anything she can throw or shoot, except long spears. She can
throw knives, shoot a gun or bow. Whatever she can get her hands on.

So what do ya'll think? Good or bad idea?

By the way, here are their ages:

Meg: 14.

Steve: 16; finishing school at Fairytale High.

Charlie: 14.

Pip: 6; only allowed to stay because of the potiential seen in his older brothers.

Aha! Gretel's cue!

Gretel ~

I stared for a second at the mice. I wasn't the type of girl to be freaked out by mice, I'd been around them plenty. But these mice each wore glasses. One had a shotgun, and another had a bow slung over its back with a quiver of arrows. I looked up at Meg, though her face was completely serious. Something tickled at the back of my mind. This seemed familiar. Not necessarily a fairy tale but...

"The three blind mice!" I cried, straightening. The eldest mouse cleared his throat.

"We are not blind," he said in a slightly offended tone.

"No, evidently not," I mumbled, thinking. I shook my head. "So, starting school here?"

Meg nodded.

"Fantastic! It'll be really easy to settle in here. Though don't take any examples from me. I get sent to the Principal's office on a regular basis for a number of "offenses", or so Principal Edith calls them."

Suddenly a set of bells rang.

"Dinner," I said. "I've got to run and clean this dirt off real quick. But, I guess I'll see you later?"

"Yeah," Meg smiled, then turned and hurried back into her room.

***

"That, was miserable," I said, slumping onto the bench next to Jasmine. The others muttered their agreement.

"Was it just me, or did Alex just relish beating whatever she could out of us that last ten minutes?" Rose Red asked.

Another round of agreement. Suddenly I perked up. Miranda, surrounded by several cronies, were headed toward the powder room to fix their makeup. An idea lit up in my mind.

"Be right back!" I called, and dashed off.

Hi, all!

This is an AWESOME idea. Is it too late to add on?

Anyways, here's my character

Name: Cinderella Lynn (though everyone calls her Cindy)

Appearance: Curly black hair that falls a bit past her shoulders.Pink-tinged cheeks, pale skin, a bit tall for her age, and piercing gold-green eyes. These are her most uncanny quality. They can see right through you. Most often wears jeans and blue tank tops and denim jackets. Age 13,a bit younger than the others

Personality: Great lover of dogs. Smart and/but sharp. Likes to take matters into her own hands. Impatient, but only with people. Usually ends up in a fight, but never starts it. Not on purpose, anyway.

Story: So this is the Cinderella fairytale, but kinda flipped around. Her father, whom she loved, died when she was young, and her mother remarried this older guy who already had two sons, and her mother sent her off to this school, and Cindy hasn't seen them since.

Power: X-ray vision, and excellent hearing. Also can dance very well, although is embarassed by the fact, and hides it from her friends.

Weapon: Has a knife made by her father just before he died. Very good with it.

(sorry if this was in the chattterbox twice)

I got up to head for the lunchroom, putting the mice in my cupped hands. As I clomped down the hall, I felt a strange movement in my hand. Steve had fainted, and while the other kids happily ate dinner, I was reviving a mouse in the school bathrooms.

It was a tedious process. Pip asked "Is he dead?" about a million times, and Charlie had decided now was a good time for bow practice on the toilet paper. Finally Steve awoke, and jumped up.

"Fairytale...Puss...cat...leave...hurry!! he panted.

"What?"

He told us he could smell cat again, the distict smell of a tabby.

"Puss in Boots," he said, "is a tabby."

"Listen. D'you remember that girl, Gretel? She certainly didn't judge you because you were mice, so don't judge this cat just because he's a cat, for Pete's sake!"

Steve said he saw some sense in this. We walked to the lunchroom, but Steve's eyes were still shifting back and forth, on the look out for a cat. Dinner was blood pudding and mashed potatoes, in honor of principal MacHarris' birthday.

Well, here it goes!

Cindy~

I woke up to, as usual, my alarm ringing. Still half-asleep, I muttered,""Alright, alright, I'm up!" and slammed the snooze button. The time read 9:58 am. As I gathered my books and wondered if I was as late as I thought, I heard something. I have excellent hearing. It's a blessing and a curse. So when I hear something, it could be from Principal Carder snoring in his office (I'm pretty sure only I know this) to people scribbling in their notebooks in Mr Mundane's class. But this time it was something unusual.

The sound was a girl yelling. By the sound of it, it was Gretel, one of the girls who was bound to create trouble. She was yelling, "I'm late, I'm late, I'm going to be late!" I stopped what I was doing and listened. Gretel was rather like me, always doing something or other that was out of the ordinary. I listened again. The sound was getting farther away. Making a split second decison, I dropped my books and ran after the fading sound.

It was hard to follow Gretel, but some people were either picking up books or notebooks, muttering about short people. I pushed them down all over again, trying to get to Gretel. She was goiong to the one of the principal's offices, Principal Edith's by the looks of it. I ran to the door just as it shut in front of me. I put my ear to hte door and listened.I heard a sigh, and then the scratching of a pen. The following conversation went something like this.

Principal Edith": "Now, as to why I called you here. Any ideas?"

Gretel: "We're busted?" At that, Principal Edith laughed. I stifled my gasp. I don't think I had heard Principal Edith laugh before. Actually, I don't think I had heard any principal lugh before. Maybe it was because every time I was in a principal's office, I was in trouble. Plus, ther must be more in there. This was SO unfair. Wether it was bad or good, I wanted to be in there!

Principal Edith: "No, Gretel, you are not in trouble, quite the contrary, actually." This was getting more and more interesting by the minute.

Principal Edith again: "We've been monitoring the students for the past six months, trying to decide which of you would be best suited for the task at hand. The last mission was the final test, and each of you passed with flying colors."

She went on to explain that they had a special task at hand, and that they would be trained by this lady Alex. From the other voices, I guessed that Ash, Rose Red, and Snow were in there too. As they came out the door, I hid behind it and followed them to - well, wherever they were going. There was no way I was going to be left out of this!

Sorry it's mostly a repeat. Cindy will go on to train herself to get ready for this "task" and sneak out with the others. Chocabookaholic, Cindy and Meg are going to be BFFs!
