Fairytale RP!

Fairytale RP!

So Tovah had once made something like this, and I miss it, so I'm going to recreate it. I was thinking that you could either do a twist on a classic fairytale hero or heroine, or make your own. They go to a private high school to learn to fight aliens.

I'm going to go with the same character I had before.

Name: Gretel Rose

Appearence; Chin-length golden hair that curves in on one side and
curves out on the other. Dark, sapphire-blue eyes, slightly pink cheeks,
pale, small, at 5 ft. Commonly wears long sleeve camo shirt with denim
capris and lace up hunting boots. Or jeans, black t-shirt with Slay Your Own Dragons and a sword
on fire, black hunting boots. Oftenwears a cap. Whether navy blue or
camo.

Personality; Strong, quiet, observant, hard core, ready to fight. Loyal, open, and cheerful around her friends.

Story; So, this is a Hansel and Gretel in the modern world. Southern
girl! Her parents ditched her in the backwoods of Tennessee, in the
Great Smokey Mountains. A hunter thought she and her brother game and
accidentally shot him. (Explains what happens to Hansel.)

Power; She has a strong sense of direction, can see in the dark. Also can channel people's feelings well. Knows what they're feeling.

Weapon: Anything she can throw or shoot, except long spears. She can
throw knives, shoot a gun or bow. Whatever she can get her hands on.

So what do ya'll think? Good or bad idea?

Sorry, I couldn't write because I couldn't get on the computer for two days (due to being busy!). I'm not sure if my idea will work anymore... I can barely remember it... I'll try to write something, though!

~ Meg and the Mice ~

Gretel ran up to me as soon as I walked in.

"I have an idea", she said, "involving them." She then gestured toward the three mice.

"Anything for you." Charlie sighed dreamily.

I could tell he had a crush on her, but it was a forbidden love.

"Could your idea be dangerous? I'd blame myself if anything were to happen to little Pip," Steve spoke up.

"No, I'm sure nothing dangerous could happen." She laughed, and tossed her blonde hair like a rebellious horse.

She explained her plan, which was that Pip, Charlie, and Steve would scare a crowd of girls putting their makeup on.

"Um, isn't that just a wee bit mean?" I said.

"It's revenge. Miranda, one of those girls, teased me about... something I don't really want to talk about," Gretel explained.

"Pip should be getting to sleep. I'm really not sure," Steve interjected again.

"I slept in the backpack on the way here, so I do NOT need any more." Pip turned to Gretel. "We would do lots of fun stuff if it weren't for Spoilsport Steve and Meg, Queen of Boredom."

"I'm definitely in," said Charlie.

Ash~

"Well, that was odd," I commented, as Gretel ran, shouting, out of the lunchroom.

Jasmine shook her head. "Gretel's always chasing after something." She was sitting next to Aladin, who had joined us for lunch. Neither of them seemed every happy about it. Jasmine ignored him and concetrated on her lunch, while Aladin ignored both her AND his lunch, and merely stared longingly out the window.

He'd rather be out there, I realised. He's here, in this school, but he'd rather be at some other place, some other time.

I gave him a sympathetic look. He glared at me in a "you wouldn't understand so stop trying" way. I shrugged and turned back to my sandwich.

After dinner, we had time to work on our classwork before the lights went out. As I walked pasted the girl's bathroom, I heard shireks of horror. I sighed, ignoring them, and headed back to my dorm.

D. D. D. D. Do. Do. Do. Do... Do! Dog!

"Dog," the appedix read. "Pages 127, 134, and 156."

I checked all three pages. The first was "The Dog and the Sparrow." Couldn't be Alex. There was no modern connection, according to the book.

On 134 I read the tale of "The Three Dogs." Three of them. I shuddered. A present connection was noted, but Alex was not mentioned.

156. The Tinderbox. The tale of a solider who gets a tinderbox that allows him to control three gianoromus dogs. I sure hoped this wasn't the one! Present connection? Alexandria Gabriel. I gulped. Of course. Of course.

Some part of me thought that maybe Alex was just one of the giant dogs.

Another part of me knew she was the present-day owner of the tinderbox.

Well, "The Tinderbox" is pretty much a moral-less story, but it has a dog in it, so... I quite like the concept of the tinderbox, though.

Sorry! I haven't written in so long.

Jasmine~

I scoffed at Aladdin and slowly climbed off of the cafeteria bench, stalking off and leaving Aladdin and Ash to sit there.

I didn't need this. I needed to think.

I speed-walked throughout the vacant halls - wait. Vacant?

"Um, hello?" I yelled.

"Gretel? Elle? Snow? Rose Red? Lila? Elizabeth? Ash? ANYONE?!"

What had happened?

I dashed back into the lunch room, flitting my eyes nervously. No one there anymore, either.

"What's happening?" I cried out helplessly as an unidentified object loomed overhead.

I screamed.

@ Nina: No of course it isn't too late to join! Katie and The Chocabookaholic just joined too. Go ahead and make your character and just jump in!

@ Theo: I've never heard the tinderbox story, but I googled it, and it sounds like a great idea!

@ The Chocabookaholic: I totally cracked up at the thing with Charlie! That is hilarious.

Gretel ~

I grinned like a chesire cat when Miranda and the mice agreed. This was going to be awesome!

"Ready?" I whispered to Steve, Charlie, and Pip. They nodded in unison. I knew that Miranda's worst fear was mice, for some bizarre reason, thanks to the fact that Miranda keeps a diary that she is constantly losing. Meg and I crouched behind the wall just opposite the vanity that Miranda stood at.

The three mice scurried out of sight, and with the moment, there was the loudest, highest pitched scream I have ever heard ringing through the bathroom; followed by a great deal of clattering and shattering of compact mirrors, more screaming, and the sliding of stools.

"MICE!" Miranda kept screaming over and over, sounding like a cross between a drunken moose and a sick elephant. Meg and I toppled against each other, in roars of laughter. I wasn't worried about Miranda and her cronies hearing, they were too busy making a bigger racket. After a moment, Steve, Charlie, and Pip scurried back around the corner, each grinning like mad. Steve's glasses were askew, Charlie had a streak of lipstick on his fur, and Pip was shaking slightly from exhileration overload.

"Great job!" I laughed as Meg slipped them back into her backpack. We hurried back out into the main hall before any teachers came running at Miranda's continual screaming.

But after a moment, Meg suddenly disappeared. As did Miranda's screaming. Everything, everyone, all sound, vanished.

"Meg?!" I shouted, looking around. Nothing. My voice echoed down the empty hall. Suddenly my shadow, slanted in front of me, vanished, replaced by a large, black one. I spun around and gasped. A large, round, silver orb floated up above. It looked like some version of what people thought UFOs looked like. I took several steps back.

"Halt," it said in Alex's voice, and I groaned. "Take me down, and you shall win the challenge."

Make me, I thought, but didn't say. Suddenly something that looked like a laser pen pointed from me, and shot a thin, red beam stopping between my feet. In it's wake it left a black burn mark. I did the only thing I could think to do. I turned and ran. Fast. My shoes squeaking as I barrled round corners.

"Seriously? How on earth do stop this thing?"

**********************************************************************

So, maybe this is a test from Alex? Ya'll can change that if you've got another idea.

@ Nora: Neat idea!

Whoa! I need to catch up!

Cindy~

The next day I woke up with a feeling that I had forgotten something. Then it all came back to me; the converstion between Gretel, Rose Red, Ash, Jasmine, and Principal Edith. The training of Gretel, Rose Red, Ash, and Jasmine. How I heard them through and drived what I could from it. I shot up in bed and dressed quickly, then thought about what I could do next to get myself into this adventure.

Well, I thought to myself, First I have to find a way to get the same training as the others. That meant I had to get into - well, whever they went! How could I ever find that place?? Well, the best place to start was the beginning. I ran to Principal Edith's office, put my ear to the door, and listened. Luckily, there was nobody home. I opened the door to the office and looked indside, but it just looked like a normal office, just like so many others I had been into. I took a tentative step in. Once I realized there was no security system giongn to go off, I ran behind the desk to look for- like a hidden button or something- to get myself into that- that training place- so I could get training!

I found none. No button or switch labeled saying, "Levitation," no secret droor, no nothing! I groaned in frustration. All fear of being discovered was gone. I began pounding, opening, hitting anything and everything in the room. How  could I get to that room?! I started to throw out every single pencil and pen in every single cup on the desk. I was about to scream in frustration. What could I do?! Wait. Jasmine had been in that class. Aladin had been training with them. Aladin told everything his monkey. Although the monkey couldn't talk, maybe he could do something to get me up there. I knew where Aladin's dorm was. Everybody did. At least, the girls did. They all had a crush on Aladin. I never did, but news gets around. I set everything back in it's proper place, and set out to Aladin's room.

Aladin's room was clean, for a boy. I looked for the monkey. Nothing. Then I heard a screech. Either Aladin let the monkey run wild, or the monkeky broke out. I snatched him off the bedpost where he was taunting me. "Come on, you. Your coming with me.

I have to stop there. I'll write later.

Jasmine~

I woke up in a sweat, shaking with sheer fear as I heard a familiar screech.

"Jerusalem!" I shouted, annoyed. I dashed into Aladdin's room to see Cindy running after the little monkey, who was screaming with joy as he scurried across the room.

"What do you think you're doing?!" I hissed to Cindy, who was red in the face by now after seeing me.

"Uh -"

I didn't let her finish. "Why are you sneaking into my -" I almost gagged - "um, Aladdin's room?"

I knew that all of the other girls had practically fallen in love with him, but I couldn't see it. Let any other girl have him! Just because I'm a princess and he's a prince doesn't mean I have to...marry him. *Another gag.* Apparently it does, though. It's so unfair.

"Seriously. He's going to be furious," I advised. "Hey, stop it, Jerusalem!"

Jerusalem crawled under Aladdin's bed.

"I'm only doing this because you aren't a bad person and you don't deserve to get into trouble," I informed Cindy as I got down on my hands and knees to search for the monkey.

A ball of lint rolled up to my hand, and I flicked it away. Ew.

"Jerusalem!" I yelled, trying to see under the bed.

"What is going on in here?!" a voice demanded.

I quickly let my head up, and bumped it onto the leg of the bed. Ouch.

"Nothing," Cindy and I answered hastily and guiltily at the same time.

~ Meg and the mice ~

The screams that came forth from the bathroom were really hilarious, and I was about to tell Gretel so, when the lights went out, the hall became empty, and I hid in a nearby locker. I heard Gretel running.

" Meg, can't I go out there and help her?" begged the worried Charlie, who tried to climb out of the backpack. I was about to answer him, when I heard a girl yelling.

I didn't want to startle her so I said:

"Hello?" in a very soft voice.
