Chatterbox: Inkwell

Hi, everybuggy! I'm

Hi, everybuggy! I'm new (obviously) and I don't really know what you do or what to do on Chatterbox, but this really looks likes fun! I like writing, but just started getting into it!

Welcome, Birdie! I'm Lena G, and I hope you will have many good times on the great and awesome Chatterbox. On the Chatterbox we basically

talk about Cricket and the buggies,

have polls and games and quizzes,

talk about books,

post a lot of random stuff,

get into really serious arguments about topics I won't even mention here (Go Obama? *hides under her desk*),

ask adivce,

post excerpts of our stories,

start Round-Robin Stories,

hint POLITELY that we would like a search engine,

smile :),

try and find our friend TNÖ, who used to be on here but has mysteriously disappeared,

talk about whatever we feel like,

try in vain to set up a time to all be on the computer,

welcome newcomers like you,

and lots more. It's FUN!

Go, Obama?

*mutters under breath*

*realizes a scary argument might be coming*

*screams*

*runs away in fear*

*realizes she's doing the TNO thingy*

*sighs, wondering what happened to TNO*

*decides to search the MB again*

*leaves*

:):)

Welcome! Lena pretty much summed it all up, except for a few points. You can comment on posts (or "threads") that other people have created by clicking "Add new Comment" or you can create your own thread by clicking on the picture thing that says "Click here to talk about blah blah blah." There are 6 sections of Chatterbox: This Month, Chirp at Cricket, Blab about Books, Down to Earth, Pudding's Place, and Inkwell. Inkwell is for authors such as you (and me, and Paige, and Lena, and pretty much everyone on Chatterbox). We post parts of our stories and get constructive critisism, do Round-Robin stories (one person starts and others continue it), ask for advice on writer's block, character names, etc, and lots more. Pudding's Place is used to discuss music, theater, and movies. Down to Earth is pretty much anything, and Blab about Books can be discussions on books or book reviews. Chirp at Cricket has a lot of random threads, but is supposed to be used to talk to Cricket buggies. This month is used to talk about Cricket issues. And FYI, "Admin" is what we call Administration, because that really confuzzled me when I first came on the site. So enjoy Chatterbox!

:):):) Oh, and you may hear somebuggy (somebody) calling the Admin the GAPA, which stands for Great And Powerful Administrators, which is what we call the Admin on the MuseBlog, which is another magazine's site.  That was a long sentence.  Yeah. :)
