Hello, Hearts! Welcome to the Inkwell! Always nice when a new person joins us!

Don't let our weird jokes freak you out. Especially Koffee's. :) Joke. Seriously. When trying to build a reputation, weirdness is considered a great factor.

Yes, on the Inkwell you mainly write stories. There are a few different kinds. Firstly, you can share your own writing and ask for critique.

Secondly (my personal favorite), there's Role-Playing. One person starts the story as a certain character, and another picks up with their own character, etc. The characters can interact, but no power-playing (being the boss of another person's character) is allowed.

Thirdly, there's RRR, or Round Robin 'Riting. Don't ask me where this name originated. Anyhow, someone starts the story, another continues it, etc., and whereas with Role-Playing you can only be your own character, with RRR you have control of everything.

Fourthly, you can randomly (another key word on every variation of Chatterbox) post, with questions, comments, etc., relating, for the most part, to writing. For examples, "Hey, does anybody out there have any advice for helping with my crummy spellling?" "Does anybody have any ideas for a Civil War era female name?" "I personally prefer historical fiction to fantasy. Anybuggy want to share their favorite genres?" etc.

And fifthly, you can do what you did, which is posting your intro. "Hi, I post as Mary W., I go by Mary Liz ((true)), I thought this looked interesting, and I'm an aspiring writer, so I guess I'll start posting soon. Any pointers?" etc., like what you did. On other Chatterboxes, you can discuss different things.

But since you're indubitably tired of my never-ending paragraphs, I'll refrain from any more... uh... let's call it what it is... lecturing. *sheepish grin*

So anyway, Hearts, my point is, welcome to the Inkwell Chatterbox! Don't let my rambling alienate you! :)

Oh sure, warn them of the demented one. No one ever warns anyone about Kake, so why do they warn about me? Am I really the scary twin? NOOOOOO! My whole life's work gone down the drain, just because someone thinks I'm weird. *sobs uncontrollably* *nose impersonates a small lobster* *Kake comes in, cackles madly and points* *I cry harder* *nose gets so incredibly large that I pass out from lack of breath* *hord of angry first graders, bagels and donuts surround me and begin to devour* *attempts to scream, but giant, lobster like nose is in my way* *runs off to join the circus* *realizes that people are thinking I am very strange* *sighs* *realizes they are right* *whole thing starts again*
