Magical
Instrument RP!
In
the land where is RP is set, magic and music are outlawed by the
king, who fears that someone will become powerful enough to overthrow
him.
He
tries to destroy all of the instruments, but some still survive.
These are found by our charries, who find out that they have a
certain power by playing the instrument. Thus, the king will try to
track then down, they having both music and magic.
Their powers aren't necessarily a good sort of power. They can be bad powers.
Rules:
1.
Don't be overpowered. You can have one power.
2.
You can have up to two charries.
3.
You can be royalty. (E.g. prince, princess, duke, duchess, baron,
baroness ect)
4.
Please commit to this RP by posting AT LEAST every three days.
Seriously, don't just join then never post.
5.
Two charries can have the same instrument.
6.
Their certain power happens when ever they play the instrument,
whether they want it to or not.

I HAVE to join this! I LOVE music and play a few instruments!!
Name: Fawn Doreme. (Do. Re. Me. Like it? Pronouced Dora-me)
Age: 14
Appearance: Brown hair. Simply brown. It's long and flowy, but often kept up under a hat or back in a ponytail. She has soft, brown eyes and a small smile. Some freckles dot her nose and cheeks. She is tan from working in the sun, but her freckles still show. She is tall and pretty. Not overly pretty, but a simple pretty.
Personality: Shy. She loves funny things, but usually only cracks a smile. She is a farmer's only daughter and thus is somewhat strong. She is well-mannered, but when she gets an idea she RARELY changes it.
Instrument: (Can she play flute too...PLEASE??? Oh wait..nvm. I just read it.)
Type of music she plays: Beautiful, calm music. It calms the soul and sometimes makes you want to cry it's just so beautiful.
Power: She kind of talks with her flute. It is a language that only birds can understand, so any other creature will be put to sleep.
Backstory: Her mother is ill and her Papa has no son, so she not only has to act as the woman of the house, (Sewing, cooking, etc...) But help Papa with the farm.
Plot ideas: What if the king WAS taken over by someone who played the....something. But it was a silent takeover. The person who took over basically controls the king with his/her musical instrument. All the people with musical instruments receive a dream, and go to help.
Name: Prince Peter
Age: 15
Appearance: Dashing. Handsome. NOOOT. This prince is not dashing or handsome. His personality is winning, but his looks not so much. He has a large nose and a birthmark above his right eye. His eyes are a cloudy blue, but his smile cheers you right up. He is tall, and buff.
Personality: Happy-go-lucky. He doesn't care about his appearance. Even though his looks make a first impression that isn't so good, his funny personality wins people over. He loves telling funny stories and jokes, and often says funny things. And he loves learning.
Instrument: Harp.
Types of music played: All types. Happy, sad, everything.
Power: He makes people think happy or sad thoughts. Depending on the music, the thoughts could be traumatizing, or make the poeple laugh REALLY hard.
Backstory: He was a prince because he won the heart of a princess, who ended up adopting him. Well, she convinced the king to adopt him.

Appearance: One purple eye, one teal eye. Dark blonde hair with light highlights. Very pale.
Personality: Extremely smart, but no cocky about it. Very kind. Can be irritable if pressed.

Power: Water Affection (so ice too. It's technically one power).

Age: 12
Appearance: If she wasn't a beggar, she'd be beautiful. She has long, matted, filthy blond hair that's turned into more of a muddy gray, and light blue eyes that have been dimmed by loss of sleep.
Personality: Hard to tell. Nice enough, but likes to be alone, operates alone, is uncomfortable in a group.
Power: Let's do the pied, pied piper!!!! Makes everyone dance until she stops playing.
Instrument: Fiddle
Type of music played: Fast, furious, and catchy.
Back story: Her parents were a Duke and a Dutchess, but the town was stormed and destroyed, leaving Ena the lone survivor. With only her fiddle, she stooped to begging to survive.

Appearance: Eyes that can seem as blue as the sky, but the next moment as green as the grass. Dark red long straight hair.
Personality: Acts older than her age, kind of tough, smart, wise. Focused on survival. Serious. Feels like she has to be the older responsible one. Tries hard.
Instrument: Harp and she sings.
Power: Makes people rebel against the authorities.
Type of music that s/he plays: Music that starts slow and quiet and then gets faster and louder and makes you get emotional and feel free and makes you accept your true self for who you are. Basically songs like Defy Gravity and... (DON'T GET MAD AT ME!!) Let It Go.
Backstory: Her parents died when she was ten and she has to take care of her siblings.

"We are going to prepare a feast for the king! It must be done by night fall!" The head cook informs me as l enter the cold kitchen.
The sun has just resin over the mountains, and everything is covered in the dawn light.
l kindle a fire in the huge fireplace. Yet another feast for the king. It seems like the king wants a feast every day.
l sign and start peeling potatoes. l wonder what life would've been before this king. Maybe the taxes where less, the crops better growing. Maybe there was magic.
l had heard whispered tales of magic, yet nothing solid. It was forbidden to speak about it, anyways.
What did it do? What use was it? Those who had lived before this king said nothing, no matter how many questions l asked. l had assumed, in the end, that it wasn't to important and probably dangerous. Why else would the king outlaw it?
By the time l have finished peeling the last potato, the kitchen is bustling with people. There is a wonderful verity of smells.
Bread, cake, roasting meat-There is a sharp knock at the door.
The head cook pauses for a moment from shouting commands to order me to answer it.
