The ornamental woods.
Deep set in the cornapy mountains the ornamental woods are host to many an array of creatures. However wether they know it or not they are ruled by the "Kesaay" a government of beasts, mythical or otherwise. The kesaay perform invulnerable tasks. Controlling the weather for instance. Without them the forest and all its creatures would vanish forever.
However something is corrupting the forest. Trees wither like grass in full sun. Rivers are black with poison, and a disease is spreading. A disease who's bearers lay writhing in agony for a day and disappear the next.
Those of the forest blame the kesaay, threatening to overrun their rule and take the power for themselves which could only end in great destruction. Destruction that could spread from the ornamental woods into what lies beyond.
RULES & INFO:
The kesaay are organized into ranks, each rank possesses a layer of the forest. For example. The first rank abides in the upper canopy, etc.
RANKS: From lowest to greatest.
SEVENTH RANK: leaders of the animal clans. Example. Leader of wolf clan. Leader of owl clan etc. (This is optional, those who exel at sixth rank can still be part of the kesaay) capacity: there is no limit
SIXTH RANK: Training to become part of the kesaay. Failure in this can result in going down in rank. Capacity: 20
FIFTH RANK: Healers. Those in this position are sent out to heal the sick and injured as well as participate in further training. Capacity: 10
FOURTH RANK: Water. In this rank one will help control the speed, power and purity of the streams, rivers, ponds and lakes in the woods. Capacity: 7
THIRD RANK: Weather. In this rank one will help control rain, wind, lightning, etc. Capacity: 3
SECOND RANK: Nature. Those in this rank will help control plant growth, etc. Capacity: 2
FIRST RANK: Leaders of the kesaay. Those in this rank are known as the elders, they control the passing of time and space. The most powerful rank of them all. Legend hold the elders are fallen stars chosen by the moon. It is nearly impossible to get into this rank, none have done so in a thousand years. Capacity: 5
RULES:
1. There are no humans in the ornamental forest
2. You can be any creature imaginable, but there is no magic apart from that in the kesaay.
3. Potions etc. Are allowed though.
4. No being op. You CAN NOT be *poof* one rank into the other, moving rank too rank takes time and training.
5. When one is ready for the kesaay, the mark of first/second rank will appear on their body.
6. 11-up only please.

PERSONALITY: Curious, easily frightened, easily fascinated by anything that catches her eye. Especially plants.

Ooh, this looks fun! I'd like to reserve a spot and post my charrie a bit later. I'm thinking of doing sixth, maybe fifth rank for my character... can we have multiple charries?

Sure! There no limit here.
Some things I forgot.
Mythical beings are allowed. A minotaur with one eye is an example:-) so yeah, anything you can think of, they just can't have more power then the kesaay.
Shape shifting is totally allowed, just no being able to shape shift into any animal you can think of. That sort of thing. Hmmm, I'll add a little bit of drama. The kesaay (pronounced ke-say) are not very fond of shapeshifters because of a incident in the kesaay's past. At the very best shapeshifters are regarded as lowlifes and scum, at the very worst they are hunted down and executed.
Ahem, I made a mistake with my charrie. She's in fifth rank. Not second:-P

Ugh, I have nothing else to do so I'll do the elders' charrie sheets.
NAME: Calypso
SPECIES: Racoon
APPEARANCE: Black raccoon with white specks that resemble stars
PERSONALITY: Gruff and slightly mean though if you get too know him he will protect you with his life. Hates being wrong since he often is.
RANK/TITLE: First rank
BACKGROUND: unknown
NAME: Greatness
SPECIES: Centaur
APPEARENCE: Human head and torso, white hair, clean shaven face with bright blue eyes. Always wears a deep scarlet robe. Horse counterparts are palamino.
PERSONALITY: Wise and knowing, always the one to finish an argument.
RANK/TITLE: First rank
BACKGROUND: Unknown
NAME: Wonder
SPECIES: Dragon
APPEARANCE: Smallish dragon with large headdress of light blue feathers, blue feathered wings, string of blue feathers that start at her snout and end in a fan at her tail, feathers line her eyes. Scales are deep aqua blue.
PERSONALITY: Light and joyful, always open for ideas, has many special bonds in the kesaay.
RANK/TITLE: First rank
BACKGROUND: Unknown

SPECIES: Faery
APPEARENCE: Faery with pale green skin, long deep green hair always in a braid, soft pale blue eyes, butterfly wings. Mainly wears dresses made of leaves from the cornapy tree.
PERSONALITY: Similar too wonder's though she can be very fiesty. Very protective.
RANK/TITLE: First rank
BACKGROUND: unknown
NAME: Stargazer
SPECIES: Griffin
APPEARANCE: Albino griffin with black wings and tail.
PERSONALITY: A born leader, somewhat bossy but very kind and knowledgeable. Doesn't holdback from boasting about his heroic deeds.

Personality: Kind, gentle, expert on herbs and potions, very wise, and shy. Fast and quick reflexes, calm at all times.

It really depends, some animals will do better in the ranks then others. Like fauna will probably get promoted to first healer which just means she can be sent out on missions and stuff:-)

personallity: friendly and caring, but likes to keep to himself

background: has been the leader of the wolves for thousands of years

speices: Rocky mountain gray wolf artic wolf mixture
apperance: a black artic wolf, long legs, bright green eyes, silver claws, and white teeth.
Personality: shy, but nice and caring to her freinds and family, cerious, and very enthusiastic and gets very excited at times
Rank: will be the alpha of the wolves at some point
background: has been living with a small clan of artic, tundra, and rocky mountain wolves ever since her alpha acepted her into the pack. She isnt that high in rank, but dreams of the day she gets to eat before her parents. Has two siblings, Ara and Sunstar, and her parents names are Tundra and Rigged. Her alpha is Eclips. Their wolf pack is very different then most, not everyone is related to the alpha. And the pack isnt of the alpha's childern. Thats whats so special about their outsider pack. Every wolf who is kicked out of theirs, or, chased out comes here and lives a free life.
And the idea is that Alpha dies, or gets slain by something, and Moonight gets the dark blue paw print on her shoulder, making her the alpha of all the wolves. Then shes realy shocked, and the alpha doesnt know what to do with her....oh you get the idea. I will right it all out when it starts. But since the fist charrie dies, can i make another?

Speices: Dragon
Apperance: Dark blue, almost black, scales. Silver and white wings and feathers lockated around her eyes and along her tail, spine, and neck. White eyes and silver claws.
Personallity: dramatic, but selfless, shy but always looking for away to be as great as her mother, or maybe even outshine her.
rank: her mom tells her she hast to earn her rank, which is never gonna happen. They already have a leader of the dragons. And her mom wont let her skip to the second one.
Background: well there isnt much to say. Her mother is Wonder, so if that clears that up for you, she was rejected for time. I mean seriously. Just imagain how that feals to a small dragonet!
