I am revisiting a classic form of entertainment, the Ski Lodge!

Yes, with a twist. Besides my own writing style, I will be making it SteamPunk! 8 people may join.

Character sheet:

CB Name:

CB Appearance:

CB Personality:

What you are bringing:

Please, no Æs or Captchas.

Here is the beginning:

You open the letter, printed in green ink. The paper is rough, and has red marks that look like rust. It says:

“I invite you to travel back in time to the unique and otherworldly Steam-Powered Hotel. PLease pack your bags, and wait for the carriage. You will be invited to see wonderful marvels, and try the best food 19th century London has to offer.

Your’s Truly:

Elliot Holding Corp.

Note: We have some stuff below written in Legalese. If you do not understand that language, throw this letter in the nearest open drawer, and wait outside with your bags.

The Steam-Powered Hotel is, for all purposes, a Victorian area. So Victorian laws apply, and for all purposes, private or public, you are a Victorian resident. Except for a few random laws. Like punishments for murder, theft, stupid idiotic mistakes, and so on. Social conventions do not apply. So you may act like a normal human in our time.

The Time Travel Spectacular (It is patent-pending and copyright protected in our time, but those laws do not apply in Victorian England)Ⓒ is  safe, and our helpful staff will make sure all problems, murders, fights, Etc. Ect., are hidden from the public. Have a fun trip.”

CB Name: Booksy Owly

CB Appearance: I'm short, with light brown hair in a bob. I have large hazel eyes, magnified by big, round glasses. My nose is covered with a sprinkle of freckles, and I blush often and easily. I usualy wear sweaters with skirts, and always have a book with me.

CB Personality: I'm shy, socialy awkward, and bad at talking to people. I love to read and write, and am a total classics bookworm and nerd. People tend to see me as younger than my actual age, as I am rather innocent. I'd like to think I'm nice and somewhat sweet, but that is not for me to judge.

What you are bringing: My books!

Booksy Owl walked into the carriage. She lugged her bags inside, looking around at the constricting black velvet of the walls and ceiling. There was room for about two passengers in the carriage, but Booksy sat next to her suitcases, which had been slid to the right hand seat.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After an uneventful ride, the carriage carrying Booksy pulled up by a crumbling mansion. What had been a clocktower was reduced to a see of metal, twitching macabrely in regular intervals atop a tower of red bricks. In several places, giant gears stuck out from the sides of the house.
~~~~~~~~~~~~

“Ah,” A man said. His suit was the finest quality, and the staff he carried was made of brass. HE continued: “Well. So you are… Booksy Owl?” He glanced at a book bag which had just burst open. He helped her pick up the surprisingly large amount of Dicken’s works. Booksy could only manage a weak “Thank you” to the man.

“Hello,” The man said, to the other people walking towards the house. “I am Elliot. Founder of Elliot Holding Corporation.

~~~~~~~~~~~
They walked through a giant black door, and Elliot started at Brookeria and Shadowmoon. HE looked from Brooker's hair, to Shadowmoon’s clothes, to Brookeria’s tiny suitcase. But he let them pass.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Then Elliot spoke. “My brother, Gared, who’s idea this is, should be here soon. Another thing: watch out for strange clockwork devices. If they look broken, tell me. Thank you.”
