Fairytale RP!!!
Basically what you do is take any character from a fairytale and give them their own quirks. (For example, Snow White has a bakery where she sells apple themed stuff, Dorothy is obsessed with hiking, ETC.) Your characters can be villians as well. This will be set in modern times. If anyone has any ideas for the plot, they're certainly welcome :).
There are a few rules:
-Please only take one character for now. Depending on how many people we get, I will let you make another character if you want to. It's unfair to others if you take all the "good" characters.
-Please spend time working on your writing and thinking about it! I want this to be a quality over quantity RP, so I would rather you post one amazing character entry a week over ten average ones.
-No OP characters, please. The villians can be slightly OP, but other than that I would like all characters to be equally powered.

Name: Dorothy Ozzel
Age: 13
Original character: Dorothy from Wizard of Oz
Personality: Dorothy has a huge imagination, and will spend days and days just staring off into space and coming up with stories. She has tons of imaginary friends, such as the sweet Scare Crow and the Lion who will take her anywhere she choses, but not many real ones. She's very naive and slightly childish, and meaner kids often take advantage of that. She is really sweet and kind. She doesn't have much of a sense of propriety, though, and sometimes blurts out random thoughts at random times, making people think her "queer." She's really trusting, and assumes everyone in the world is like her.
Appearance: Short, usualy in a sweater and jeans. She loves the color blue and almost always wears it. She has a favorite blue plad dress she inherited from her grandmother of the same name, and wears it on special occasions. She has an upturned nose sprinkled with freckles and mousy blond hair in two braids she ties with blue ribbons. She also wears braces, and has a tiny bit of a lisp because of them.
Backround: Her parents died when she was two, on a ship sailing to France that got caught in a tornado. She was too young to have anything but a fleeting memory of them, though. She lives with her aunt and uncle in a little house and goes to school. She lives a pretty average life, but dreams of adventure.
Hobbies: Reading stories, writing and drawing, imagining things, going on long walks where she tells tales to the trees and talks to her imaginary friends. She has a favorite bakery in town which she often spends time in, and she has a strange aversion to the colour green.
Powers: None, except for the fact that she can make her imaginary friends seem strangely life-like...
Strengths & Weaknesses: She is really, really innocent and trusting, which can be good but can be her fatal downfall. She gets scared easily, but she's really creative and can come up with anything.
Perhaps our characters can go to a school together?

Ok, here's my character: (tell me if I need to change anything.)
Name: Julia
Age: 15
Original Character: Jafar (just obviously a female version if that's ok)
Appearance: Long black hair usually with a dark red beanie over it, large green eyes with long dark eyelashes. Wears a black tee shirt under a red jacket with black boots.
Background: Parents left when she was 10. She ran away and has been living in the streets ever since dodging the law enforcement and social services left and right. After making friends with a pigeon, she went to theivery to get food and money.
Hobbies: Stealing, reading, especially things with sorcery and genies (I don't know if I spelled that right, but oh well.), and being with animals. Strives to be the head of her own company one day.
Powers: has the ability to communicate with animals.
Strengths(I'm going to seperate these from weaknesses if that's ok.): Her freindship with her pigeon friend, Ruka. Her ability to steal witout getting caught, and her knowledge of the area.
Weaknesses: Her inability to trust anyone or take charity.

Original character: Snow Queen
Personality: Quiet. Polite. Has an aura of cold around her, despite being nice. Is actually quite kind once you get to know her. Smart and calculating.
Appearance: Long white-blonde hair, green eyes, pale as a sheet.
Background: Currently works as a professional ice sculptor. Is actually pretty rich; she's a master, doing shows in Vegas and such. She recently made a sculpture for a royal family in Belgium. Someday aspires to be a writer.
Hobbies: Reading, writing, sculpting.
Powers: Ice, snow, and water control. Other minor spells.
Strengths & Weaknesses: Very good with her power, cold and hostile at first glance. Smart, but withdrawn. I'm too lazy to list the rest.

Original character: Flora from Sleeping Beauty (disney version.)
Personality: seems excitable, but sometimes has depression problems. She makes dresses with a version of the Fairy Godmother, and her sister, Katia, who is nicknamed 'Fauna'.
Appearance: Long brown hair, quirky green eyes, mutters to herself often, and is a little secretive. She has fairy wings on her back, but they seem to be too small to work.
Backround: Grew up in a cottage in the woods with her family.
Hobbies: She makes dresses with a version of the Fairy Godmother, and her sister, Katia, who is nicknamed 'Fauna'.
Powers: She has minor magic, is good at making dresses, and can change fabric and other soft material's color. (Animal fur, etc.)
Strengths & Weaknesses: She can be very easily lied to, but she is loyal. She also can get tired very easily.

I run through the streets of the city, dodging police officers and angry shop owners. I avoid each of them easily, despite the fact that most of them have Powers, or some type of Magic. I don't understand why they're so angry. It's not my fault they leave their displays unprotected. It's like stealing candy from a changling. Fun, but just a bit to easy. I jump onto a cart pulled by a pair of oxen, and onto the roof of a building. I laugh as I watch the police search for me, tearing the Market upside down. I take a bite from my apple. All this, for breakfast? Seems a bit intense guys.
Once I finish my apple, I toss the core onto the streets below and watch in glee as it hits one of the officers on the head. He still doesn't see me, though. Amateur. I walk atop the roof of the building, and the wind starts to whip at my clothes. I push my glasses up back onto my nose and pull the hood of my sweatshirt up. I thrust my hands into my pockets, hoping that they will provide some protection from the bitter cold of the winter wind. It hasn't snowed yet, but soon it will. Everyone says. The ice fairies are getting excited, so much so that some of them have started snowball fights around town. The sun fairies, of course, are furious. They have always been the ones to be more serious. Of you couldn't tell, I like ice fairies better.
Soon, I reach my destination: the Village. The Village is a small collection of shacks on top of one of the many buildings on the east side of the city. It is a town full of rogues, thieves, outcasts, people like me that don't fit into the society that the Magics' have made for themselves. Some Villagers only last a day, others have been here for a lifetime. I am one of the ones in-between. I wave at one of the other Villagers as I open the door to my shack. It has some insulation, but not enough to keep out much of the cold. There's a furnace and bed in one corner, and in the other is a desk with my computer on it. In the corner with my desk is a solar powered lamp, a box with clothes in it, and a cheat of drawers that hold all of my other stuff. From spare parts to stolen objects, my dresser holds it all. I grab a blanket from my bed and sit down at my desk. Time to infiltrate some government networks.
Time to start hacking.

Alrighty! I changed my mind, sooo:
Name: Morgan Douglas
Age: 17
Original character: Morgana le Fay
Personality: Sweet as honey and as poisonous as a serpent. Very hateful and vindictive.
Appearance: Long, straight black hair, black eyes, pale complexion, very tall, but not insanly so. Slender, and holds herself with a strange air.
Backround: Her mother died when she was little, and her father didn't care for her, but now "shows her off" to all, much to her displeasure.
Hobbies: Is good with science type things, but hates doing them. Would much rather be one of the "popular" girls and not worry about a thing.
Powers: Essokinesis and Phobokinesis. (The powers to control reality and fear.)
Strengths & Weaknesses: Very envious of everyone, very smart, easily angered.
