Fairytale RP!!!

Chatterbox: Inkwell

Fairytale RP!!!

Fairytale RP!!!

Basically what you do is take any character from a fairytale and give them their own quirks. (For example, Snow White has a bakery where she sells apple themed stuff, Dorothy is obsessed with hiking, ETC.) Your characters can be villians as well. This will be set in modern times. If anyone has any ideas for the plot, they're certainly welcome :).

There are a few rules:

-Please only take one character for now. Depending on how many people we get, I will let you make another character if you want to. It's unfair to others if you take all the "good" characters.

-Please spend time working on your writing and thinking about it! I want this to be a quality over quantity RP, so I would rather you post one amazing character entry a week over ten average ones.

-No OP characters, please. The villians can be slightly OP, but other than that I would like all characters to be equally powered.

I think that's it! Here's the character sheet:

Name:

Age:

Original character:

Personality:

Appearance:

Backround:

Hobbies:

Powers:

Strengths & Weaknesses:

And I think that's it!

Oh wait! I forgot a rule.

-Have fun! Yes, it's super cliche, but this RP is just for fun. Please don't get mad at anyone else and try to treat everyone who joined with respect.

I'll post my charrie soon!

Ok, we have started, but Cho and Bandit can post their charries and jump in at any time. I am not going to let anyone else join who hasn't already, but I am going to let people who have already joined make another character (preferably a guy, genderbending is allowed). Would you guys rather out charries already know each other or meet each other as the story goes along? We should work out which charries are friends and which are going to be friends (as well as enemies and crushes).

I'd prefer that we all knew each other. Do you want me to make an extra male NPC?

Well, Greta is happy to be friends with anybody....................

O think it would be cool if our characters met each other. Maybe some already know each other, maybe some will meet as the story goes in. Maybe some will only hear about each other or catch a glimpse of on another. That would make the story seem more interesting and realistic.

Also, could I do the Huntsmen from Snow White, except he's only 17 or 18 or something?

Oh no! I just missed the deadline for this! It looked so cool, too. Oh, well, carry on without me! Have fun!

Maybe some of us can be going to the same school, but others don't, and they eventually meet up with each other.

Could I PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASE join? I have a really good charrie and plus, I already joined since I didn't see your note yet. If the answer is No then it's okay. You can just put up a "Sorry this post for a charrie is detained" or whatnot.Smile

Ok, so some of our charries will know each other before this. Some of them will meet as the story goes on. I think I'm going to put the start on hold while we make new charries and figure out who knows each other.

@Cho, sure! A male character would be helpful. Also, do you want Muffette and Morgan to be friends?

@Embers in Ashes, sure! A Huntsmen sounds super cool.

@St., I feel like Muffete would hate Tink and vice versa XD. I feel like they wouldn't know each other yet, so maybe we can develop that through the story? Whatever you want to do.

@UNSUSPCTINGSTRYTLLR, can Muffette and Azura be friends?

Here's my second character:

Name: Chester Calman

Age: 16

Original character: The Cheshire Cat

Personality: Mischevous, goofy, a prankster, loves messing with people, doesn't take much seriously, knows everyone. He's actually very smart, and kind once you get to know him.

Appearance: Short, curly purple hair that he dyed and dark skin the colour of chocolate. Always has a mischevious grin on his face. Really white perfect teeth. That grin of his is practically infamous. Always wears converse, black Adidas pants, a random shirt and an unbuttoned purple flannel. His eyes have this constant glint in them that screams trouble.

Backround: He's in foster care, and he doesn't know who his original family was. His foster family is good to him, but he secretly always feels like no one wants him.

Hobbies: Over the course of all his different foster care homes, he's learned to steal things if he has to. He's an amazing thief especially because of his power. He loves scaring people. He also has a job as an assistant to the town's dentist.

Powers: Can turn completely invisible-Except for his smile. That's always there.

Strengths & Weaknesses: He always feels like he's not wanted, and barely trusts anyone. He actually enjoys helping people, and underneath it all he's a cinnamon roll. He can also turn pretty much invisible.

@Embers in Ashes, can Chester and Red be friends?

@St, can Tink and Chester be friends?

@Little Reader, I feel like Chester would have a crush on Rose. Is that OK with you?

@Poetic Panda, if you want to I can make an exception and you can make a guy character and join.

And, done! That's it I think.

When I was making Tink, I was thinking, "She's going to hate Muffette." So yeah, I'm totally on board with that xD

I also like Chester and Tink being friends, they would fill in each other's weak points, kind of?

Also, here's a male charrie for you, because I had this idea and I was going to ask if I could make him (well, originally her, but whatever) anyway.

Name: Rapunzel, but goes by Ralph

Age: 17

Original Character:  Rapunzel, duh.

Personality: Very introverted. He's that guy who lurks in the back of the room, listening intently but not really saying anything. He's philosophical and thinks about everything from every angle, even a little rediculously, and is very charitable, always thinking about how "my food could have gone to a starving child in Iran instead of me, who has three healthy, complete meals a day!" He has very few friends, because generally he's the "weird kid." He doesn't mind, though; he prefers being on his own. However, he's easy to push around, as he usually tried to see things from the other side's perspective, and unless you're completely immoral he'll agree to do what you ask. But he'll do it in some weird way; for example, if someone told him to do their homework for him, he would agree, make them sit down with him, and walk them through all the problems until he was sure they understood what they were supposed to do.

Appearance: Ralph's hair is really, really long. He keeps it in a ponytail, with supports so it doesn't spring out, and wraps the rest tightly around a loop on his belt. It's a dark blond color and actually rather pleasant. His eyes are a dark hazel; he's average height but very skinny.

Backround: Ralph's parents were very, very poor. They lived next to a crabby old lady who was very antisocial and never stopped by to visit with cookies. When his mother became pregnant, she started craving the plant rapunzel. But they were too poor to buy it, so his father asked their neighbor for some of hers, which he had seen growing in her backyard. She refused, of course, but he didn't give up. Instead of going and earning some money to buy the rapunzel, he snuck over her wall late at night and stole some of her rapunzel. He got caught, and the old lady demanded their child as payment. After being backed up by the law, they had to hand him over. Ralph was given to the lady. But she didn't even bother to check his gender and announced, "Her name will be Rapunzel!" and stole off to some old lady place. Ralph grew up in a tower on the outskirts of town, where all his Internet was moderated and he wasn't allowed to use any communications on his cell phone. It got really annoying being cooped up inside when he was trying to play Pokemon Go. Anyway, he grew up with a lot of time to himself and generally kind of grew inside his mind instead of interested on the outside. After a long while, he suddenly realized there was a door in the tower, so he left. He still lives there, but the old lady was gone so much anyway she had never realized he was gone. Also-- noteable point-- because he grew up in isolation, he never figured out that cutting his hair would be a good idea. Once he got into the wild world, it was too unbearable to part with his amazing 'do.

Hobbies: Thinking. He's also a writer, mostly of philosophy.

Powers: None, but he can braid his spare hair absurdely fast. It can be made into a rope and other hair-y things.

Strengths and Weaknesses: He's excellent in terms of being fair to all, thinking, and helping others. But he's socially awkward in general and can't do public speaking or this thing they call "friends."

I'm thinking Dorothy and Ralph would get along really well-- what do you think, Booksy?

Yeah, for sure! I was just thinking that as I read your sheet. And maybe some crush drama later on? ... I really don't know. It might be fun.
