Fairytale RP!!!

Chatterbox: Inkwell

Fairytale RP!!!

Fairytale RP!!!

Basically what you do is take any character from a fairytale and give them their own quirks. (For example, Snow White has a bakery where she sells apple themed stuff, Dorothy is obsessed with hiking, ETC.) Your characters can be villians as well. This will be set in modern times. If anyone has any ideas for the plot, they're certainly welcome :).

There are a few rules:

-Please only take one character for now. Depending on how many people we get, I will let you make another character if you want to. It's unfair to others if you take all the "good" characters.

-Please spend time working on your writing and thinking about it! I want this to be a quality over quantity RP, so I would rather you post one amazing character entry a week over ten average ones.

-No OP characters, please. The villians can be slightly OP, but other than that I would like all characters to be equally powered.

I think that's it! Here's the character sheet:

Name:

Age:

Original character:

Personality:

Appearance:

Backround:

Hobbies:

Powers:

Strengths & Weaknesses:

And I think that's it!

Oh wait! I forgot a rule.

-Have fun! Yes, it's super cliche, but this RP is just for fun. Please don't get mad at anyone else and try to treat everyone who joined with respect.

I'll post my charrie soon!

What if Red has a crush on Arthur?

Muffette would probably like him, and act super fake nice around him.

oooo, great idea! What if Red and Muffet both have a crush on Arthur, and are constantly competing for his attention? What if they're rivals because of this? That would make school really interesting.

Jack-

I am teaching my little brother and sis how to do algebra.

Now, you might say that algebra is a little bit advanced for a six year old and a nine year old. Well, these aren't your average six and nine year olds. They mastered advanced biology last week, and after they both wrote marvelous essays about the modern day social structure between different types of fey, I figured I'd better give them some more complicated material. But this seems to have them unfazed as well, and I'm starting to run out of things to teach them. I already taught them most of the life skills they'll need in the future, like how to build furniture and houses, cook a three course meal, sew, and the art of stealing. After that, I moved in to basic stuff, like the alphabet, numbers, and basic science. They worked through that quickly, which is how we got to where we are now. I suppose that they're either really good students, or I'm a really good teacher. You can't really tell sometimes.

I live in the abandoned warehouse on fourth-fifth street. You've probably seen it before. You were probably scared to explore it, weren't you? You probably believed the rumors. Well, I've heard all of them, and I must say I've found absolutely no evidence of a ghost in the basement, aliens on the roof, or a giant mutant starburst candy walking around and eating people. Yes, that was actually a rumor. We're kind of a village here. Except housing's free, and the neighbors are more friendly, as long as you don't ask too many questions. There are other villages like ours, some of them on rooftops, or in storage rooms, or even museum basements. I am the 'teacher' in our local community. I teach all of the kids that care enough to show up to my mock classes every day. I hold school every day of the week except Sunday, and normally at least twelve kids show up. Many of them master the high school materials I've been giving them just as fast as my siblings, some even faster. I enjoy school, and teaching, and little kids even more. If only I fit in as well as I do here as I wish I could at public school.

Hi. Okay. I feel really sad. And livid. I made a post. I posted an amazing charrie and everything. And now I'm looking back through the charrie sheets, in preparation to write my first post. And I can't find mine anywhere. IT DID NOT GET POSTED!!! I don't know if it was a computer issue, or I just forgot to click submit. But hear my plea: Can I PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make my charrie again, post the sheet, and join the RP? Thank you for reading my mini rant.

Yeah, of course you can! I know how frustrating it is to post something you work really hard on and then find out you didn't even post it.

Greta~

Before school, I decide to work on my painting. A girl looks at me from it, half-finshed. She is a ghost, standing in flames. I am about to finish upmy painting when an alarm sounds. Twenty minutes till' taking the bus to school. Shoot!

After fifteen minutes of packing up paints and brushes, I quickly throw my stuff together and change out of my comfy slippers.

Flying down the apartment stairs, I barely catch the bus. A young girl, about six, laughes when she sees my exausted-looking face. As I get off the bus, a message flashes over a board; Have you seen this girl?  Apparently she robbed a store, and may have possibly hacked into a news website. Oh well. Who cares? The news is ALWAYS boring anyway. Although, it sounds like she did a good job with the robbery.

In period one, I am bored out of my mind. I really, really, hate studyhall. I have beter things to do! Period two is never much better. Science? Please.

When the last bell rings, I see the bulliten board again. This time, though, there is photo of dog feces, underneath which is a caption that says; Have you seen this? If found, please call 777-868-9560.

Hmm. Maybe I shold get to know this girl.

***

(This is not part of the story)

Is the hacking involved okay with you, Embers In The Ashes? Also, I would like to make a change to her apperance. She doesn't wear a dress, only casual clothes and jeans, and also at some point she will dye her hair.

Of course, Pepper Star! It actually matches some hacking I made Red do earlier on. Thanks for asking, though!

Red~

I gather all of my books and laptop in my small bookbag. I made it when I was ten, and it's still holding up, despite the growing number of books every year. I walk to school the normal way, instead of from atop buildings. I have two different me's: school Red and normal Red. Nromal Red is the girl you've already seen; She's the one that walks on the rooftops and dodges the police. scool Red is me, but almost tamed. Almost.

I have to attend school. It's mandatory. Everyone under the age of 18 in our city has to. I wish that rule was different. I'm sure if I really wanted to, I could attend homeschooling or even go to an online academy, but that would just make me easier for the police to track. By staying in plain sight, I stay hidden.

I'm at the front gate soon. I walk through the grand double doors of the castle-like school, and into the maze of hallways. I walk to my locker and start to unload my backpack, just before the first bell rings.

Time fro school.

Greta~

Once I get back home, I grab my bike, my bow, and my quiver. time to go see my seven brothers....

Once I get to their cottage, I immediatley look for the youngest, Caleb. He is 18, and is always willing to hunt with me, as long as I bring him a coffee. Today I find him out back, sitting on a stump. He is painting a blackbird, while listening to "Blackbird" by the beatles, while having a blackbird perched on his shoulder. Sometimes he is so weird. I give him his coffee.

"Thanks, Greta. How is life?" he says. I tell him about school, and all sorts of other boring stuff. Then he shocks me. "I can't hunt today. I'm sorry, but I have to finish this painting." Oh well. I guess maybe I should find myself some friends. If only.

Thank you!!

Name: Aelin Emberfae

Age: 14

Original character: The Fire-Fairy (It's from an old Russian fairy tale that my parents read to me when I was younger)

Personality: Curious, quick witted, loyal, playful, fun-loving, intelligent, has a tendency to disappear sometimes, mischevious, observant, very aware, resourceful, afraid of large birds (like ostriches, vultures, condors, etc.), slow to trust, doesn't always think things through before she acts, sometimes has a sharp tongue, easily annoyed, but good at hiding it.

Appearance: Fiery coloured hair that falls to her waist and stands out very much. IT is often pulled back into a single, simple, long braid. Crystal clear, strikingly sharp, arctic blue eyes. Small for her height. Slightly elven looking features. Fairly pale skin. Finely honed, athletic body. Could she have wings that are retactable so they are usually hidden? If yes, then they look like they are shimmering, flame coloured, made of gossamer, with a pattern of embers and ashes imprinted in them. If no, then just ignore that bit.

Background: Parents were killed when she was a young child, so she doesn't remember them. Her elder sister disappeared promptly afterwards, taking all of her belongings with her, except for the family locket and a note. It said: Don't try to look for me. Don't come find me. Just know that I will come back. It may be in a few days. It may be in twenty years. But I will be back. And when I come back, I will explain everything. Your Sister Always, North. The locket held a secret, as well, but Ember never opened it for personal reasons. So, for as long as Ember remembered, she's lived in a village of sorts in the house of an older boy that took her under his wing called Shard. She also owns a set of seven silver daggers, created by her dead father, one of the few things that are truly hers.

Hobbies: Archery, reading/ learning, hiking/ anything forest related, causing mischeif, the art of theivery, practicing her many different forms of fighting (daggers, hand-to-hand, bow and arrow, swords, but she hates using swords, etc.)

Powers: Fire control, but she's not too good at the controlling part of it yet. She's never had anyone to teach her.

Strengths: Fighting, using her surroundings to her advantage, getting out of tough situations, her love for learning, photographic memory.

Weaknesses: Controlling her power, sometimes acts rashly, not good at opening up to others, afraid of large birds.

Red~

I read my schedule and see that I have history first period. I hate history.

It has absolutely nothing to do with hacking or stealing, and all they teach us about is elf wars and the dwarves civil rights movement. It's all about the Magic's and there's nothing about Normals. I guess that shows the kind of world we live in.

I'm relieved to see that I have math after history, and then double science. Double science is basically two science classes smushed together. Today its bio and computer. Easy! Then, I have lunch, recess, and a study hall. After study hall is foreign language, which this time is Srtche (I take elvish, Arabic and Srtche. Srtche is a dead fairy language, but it helps you understand the others, since it's the root for them.) Then I have potions, and I end the day with charms. I hate charms.

I shove all the books I don't need in my locker, then grab the ones I will need for the next two periods. Then I start on my way to history.

Howdy!

My friends tell me that Fairy Tale (the anime) is actually two words.  I don't know if that helps you at all, but I'm just saying.  Also, I have a friend that is obsessed with Fairy Tale, but I don't think he knows about Chatterbox or Cricket.  I might just have to tell him about it!
