Fairytale RP!!!

Chatterbox: Inkwell

Fairytale RP!!!

Fairytale RP!!!

Basically what you do is take any character from a fairytale and give them their own quirks. (For example, Snow White has a bakery where she sells apple themed stuff, Dorothy is obsessed with hiking, ETC.) Your characters can be villians as well. This will be set in modern times. If anyone has any ideas for the plot, they're certainly welcome :).

There are a few rules:

-Please only take one character for now. Depending on how many people we get, I will let you make another character if you want to. It's unfair to others if you take all the "good" characters.

-Please spend time working on your writing and thinking about it! I want this to be a quality over quantity RP, so I would rather you post one amazing character entry a week over ten average ones.

-No OP characters, please. The villians can be slightly OP, but other than that I would like all characters to be equally powered.

I think that's it! Here's the character sheet:

Name:

Age:

Original character:

Personality:

Appearance:

Backround:

Hobbies:

Powers:

Strengths & Weaknesses:

And I think that's it!

Oh wait! I forgot a rule.

-Have fun! Yes, it's super cliche, but this RP is just for fun. Please don't get mad at anyone else and try to treat everyone who joined with respect.

I'll post my charrie soon!

Tink~

School!

I hate school.

I rarely go, to be honest; usually I stay home and homeschool, but I come around sometimes, especially for the science lessons. Considering my parents are both magically inclined, they don't think much of the subject, so I have to come here to learn anything at all. I'd considered going to Jack Glade's class, but he's technically still a kid, and so many of his students are so little. I'll stick with my age group, thank you very much.

At lunchtime, I wrinkle my nose at the cafeteria. It's messy, noisy, and the school lunch looks disgusting. Luckily, I brought my own, and I pull out my cute green lunchbox and unscrew the lid of a thermos. There are some people accosting a younger kid near me. I shrug it off. The kid must've been flaunting her money if they're asking her for it. I don't help people like that.

They move away, to my intense relief, and I start eating, ignoring the frustrated girl nearby. Unfortunately, a cry of "Ow!" will always attract my eyes, and I turn around to the table behind me.

At first, I can't believe it. This girl has wings! Real live, beautiful wings! I feel a surge of jealousy and fondle the locket at my chest. I'll never be able to fly the way she can.

But-- wait, what are they doing? The boy's taking out a pair of scissors. It takes me a moment to figure out what's happening, because it's just so absurd. Then I put two and two together.

No!

I find myself on my feet. Then another thought enters my head. Why don't I just let them chop her wings off? She'll know how I feel. All of my family are a constant reminder of what I could have had. She could go through what I go through. It would be--

Cruel, I decide finally. That's just wrong. I can't let her go through that. I don't even know what I'm missing. She would.

"Hey!" I shout to the boys. "Stop it!"
The girl looks at me, smiling softly. She's wearing all blue, which reminds me of me a bit, with my greens.

"What are you going to do about it?" taunts one of the boys. He is still holding the scissors.

"Oh, I don't know," I reply sardonically. "Call the teacher over there? Kick you in your stomach? Knock those scissors out of your hands and cut off your fingers and see how you feel about that?"

"Empty threats," he says calmly.

"You'd be surprised," I snap, snatching the scissors out of his hand. He's so surprised he drops Blue Girl. "Now. How about you take a little walk? Like that way? Out of this school and this town until your feet bleed and then keep walking? I think that would be very pleasant."
He clenches his fist, and I understand; Blue Girl's not the target anymore. I'm embarrassing them. I need to be shut up. Oh, why didn't I just go on eating?

My locket is heavy on my chest. I could use some of my fairy dust-- but what would I do with it? It's still so early in the week; what if I need it later?
I need it now, I decide. I'm only going to school once. These boys won't know where to find me.

I open the locket and catch the flakes of sparkling power that spill out. I carefully calculate-- you really don't need a lot-- and close it up with expert timing.

"Want to try something else?" I ask, holding my hand up. It glitters with dust.

"You just put a lot of glitter on your hand," replies the boy. "Is that supposed to scare me?"
"Well, if you were competent in any way besides punching, yes," I say. "But why don't I persuade you a bit more?"

I can't do much with the pixie dust. But they don't know that. I finally decide on a rather complicated transfiguration: an itching powder that causes large and painful welts. The dust immedeately stops glittering and dulls into greys and blacks, and I blow it at the small group.

They pause for a moment, waiting for something horrible to happen. Nothing does. They laugh and move towards me menacingly. My heart sinks into my stomach. Did I do something wrong?
Then one of them scratches behind his neck, and I grin. Another one itches. Soon their fingers are raking skin all over their body, looking at me in horror and embarrassment. I can't help it; I laugh. They flee.

Blue Girl grins and gets up. "Thanks."

"No problem," I reply. "But I'd better get going now."

I move back to my own table, mourning the waste of pixie dust.

Maybe Azura and Tink aren't exactly friends, but on good terms after this?
Also, @Joss, maybe Tink and Muffette can meet each other in school today! I made it so she doesn't show up often, so it's not surprising they haven't met before.

I know I JUST joined this RP but I REALLY want to write!

Eliza-

I plop my lunch down on the "loner" table. I look down on the cafeteria tray and think, "Eeew! Peas & porridge 9 days old AGAIN!" I know it's not really 9 days old but it still looks and tastes that way. I really can't believe with my outfit today NO ONE notices me. Suddenly, I see a girl with blue hair. "Did she dye it?", I wonder. But I wasn't surprised at that. In the one milisecond it took for that thought to be processed, I noticed that a gang of mean boys, probably Robin Hoodigan and his cronies again, holding her by the wings, 2 feet off the ground with a pair of scissors. Immedietaly I realized what they were doing. I almost cried out, "OMG! They're going to cut off her wings!". Then I noticed a girl in green rescuing her. "Oh well," I thought, "I just blew my chance to make a friend and get noticed." I notice a locket on the green girls neck. I wonder what her name is and what up with the locket?

P.S

I just made up  a charrie right in this story segment. Is that okay? If it is then you probably know who the cronies are. The modern day equivalent of Robin Hood and his (not-so) merry men. Can they be just regular students at this school? We should really give the "school a name. How about Faerie Junior High?

WOW! I can not belive all of you guys want to help Azure. Thank you soooo much, you guys are all great writers! But I think the rule is first to post, and that was Embers in the Ashes. Sorry the restof you! I really apreciate your willingness.

@Everyone, Azure only grants wishes if she has no choice.

~Azure

I land with a thud as the bullies drop me, and quickly scramble to my feet.  I manage to mouth two words to the girl before she dissapears around the corner. Thank you! I wish I could help her get out of this mess. But what could I do? I only have wish granting magic and an interest in gears and screwdrivers. I guess she's smart enough to find a way out...

I'm not doing to good in school. The teachers say I've gone into a depression, becuase Dad died. I guess that's kinda the truth, it's just nothing seems worth it anymore. Nothing makes sense. When I walk into my English classroom, Ms. Hubbard runs up to me. "Hello dearie! I've got somethig the the cubord for you!" She opens the cabinet. "Where did I put it? Hmmm..." Not suprisingly, she can't find it. She can't find anything in that 'cubord'. "Oh well, the truth is, I've found you a tutor. His name is Jack Glade."

So, does this mean Red saved Azure?

Red~

I run away from the bullies, dashing into empty classrooms when they aren't looking, climbing out windows and shimmying up trees. I zig-zag, taking them up staircases, down hallways, and even into bathroom stalls (you don't want know how I even got out of that one). They chase me all over the school, taking up all of lunch period and a good half of recess. Finally, the bullies give up, and I have just enough time to swipe an apple from a passerby before the bell rings and I have to go to my next class.Guess the apple is all I'll be having for lunch today. Figures.

Ooops! I didn't see that post or rule so I made up an "interlocking" story with the "Tink" one. Also, did any of you see my other posts? If I can't join, can I at least write from a second-person point of view? This is like, the FIRST RP I've ever joined and now it's closed! Could I PLEEASE at least write or keep my charrie?

Jack-

I normally don't tutor people.

In fact, I haven't been to the high school all my life.

So when they asked me to tutor a girl there, I thought I was dreaming.

Then I pinched myself multiple times, and after I relised I wasn't sleeping, I had another question; How did they find me?
