You are a normal person, at least you think so. You are an orphan, and live in the orphanage called St. Pueblos. There, you learn and other things, but strange things often happen around you(this will vary by the person). One day, a mysterious figure burns the entire orphanage down, destroying the orphanage forever. One mysterious woman comes and gathers all of you, taking you through a portal into a strange realm full of magic called the Netherealm. WE WILL START AT THE SCENE RIGHT BEFORE THE BURNING TO GET TO KNOW EACHOTHER A BIT. The more powerful your power, the greater the drawback. (ex. You have the power to heal any wound, but you will lose a tiny tiny bit of your sanity every time you use it)

Power: To control the monsters of the Netherealm, but they are supremely sensitive to his emotions and can follow orders a bit too literally. This will be unknown to others and pretends it's really that he has yet to discover it.
Appearence: Short black hair i guess...
Personality: Has some anger issues and loyal to those he grows close to.
Other: Born in Netherealm so definitely has a power of somekind.

Power: she can alter the future of a single person without affecting any other people, but every time it happens, one tiny memory is forgotten from her past.
Appearance: icy blue eyes, small nose, pale, whitish blond hair, super short, long fingernails.
Personality: mysterious, secretive, weird, good at running away, scared of almost nothing, knows martial arts, can really scare people Ethel her features.
Other: she has unknowingly used her power, so she can't remember her last name.

Oooh this looks fun! Here goes:
Name: Sofia (Sofie) Baker
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Power: She can create and alter weather, but every time she uses her power it is excruciatingly painful. Any bystanders within five feet of her when she uses it will be able to feel the pain also.
Appearance: Slightly wavy, long black hair, which she usually keeps in a ponytail. Piercing, pale blue eyes and fair skin that glows slightly whenever she uses her power. She's quite pretty, but has a scar running from her temple to her chin on the left side of her face.
Personality: Shy, but very comfortable around her friends. She doesn't talk much otherwise, and is very focused when put to a task. Slightly mysterious to people who don't know her well, and she doesn't have a whole lot of friends, just a small group.
Other: Her parents died in a terrible house fire when she was six, and she almost didn't make it out of the fire in the Orphanage. Of course she doesn't know it now, but if it weren't for someone who cared... the fire would have taken her life.

Name: Alinia (doesn't know her last name)
Age: 11
Gender: Female
Power: Mind reading/sensing things. Like, if someone is at the door, she can sense who it is a few seconds before they get there, or sense what someone else is thinking. The drawback is that every time she senses something, she is prone to faint and forget what just happened in the last hour-hour and a half. She's afraid this side effect might worsen over time, causing her to eventually forget everything about herself, her life, and her friends.
Appearence: very pale skin, dark Hazel-blonde hair, sapphire blue eyes , gold rimmed pupils (OUT OF CHARRIE SHEET: this is a real thing. My gramma and dad have it. Runs in the family) shortish.
Personality: Doubtful of herself, fearful, intelligent beyond her years, distrustful, melancholy, can be irritable at times. She is highly bothered every time she realizes when she senses something, as she is still getting used to her power.
Other: She doesn't remember anything about her past beyond when she came to the orphanage. The orphanage doesn't know her last name, and neither does Alinia.

Name: has no name. It was never given to him. Just calls himself Boy. (That's what the orphanage caretakers called him.
Age: 14
Gender: M
Power: To control darkness as if it was fire. (Like, can pick it up, move it around, through it at people, command it to move...it can swallow people and kill them instantly, but only with a wave of darkness. Otherwise it can kill skin or orgains by touching them. Every time it's used he becomes more vanurable to attacks and looses some of his sympathy, more of which on how much he uses.
Appearance: Dark skin, darker short hair, hazel green eyes, usually found wearing raggs. His skin is thick, and has calluses on his bare feet and hands. Doesn't ever wear shoes.
Personality: quiet, keeps to himself. Loyal, but lies a lot. A theift. Often steals from the caretakers. Thinks names are useless, never remembers anyone's name. Carefree. Has nothing left to loose.
Other: has a necklace he often keeps hidden, for fear someone would take it from him. It's a simple rusty chain with a locket of his parents on it....And a key of somesorts. He doesn't know what it unlocks.

Power: He can transform into any animal, however everytime he does so he becomes more animal like, loosing his memories and human feelings.
Appearance: Spikyish Dark brown hair, covered partially by a headband. dull gray eyes. Rather short, wears a dark blue scarf over a long gray shirt. Baggy stained white pants, and long black boots.
Personality: Shy and VERY stubborn, and has a childlike enthusiasim. Quite dismissive, and does things sometimes just to see what happens. Very intelligent, and is rather inconsiderate of others. He can become popular rather easily due to his childlike enthusiasim being rather charming, but he also looses popularity due to doing stuff just for the heck of it.
Other: Nothing I can think of as of now.
