RANDOM TALE SOLO WRITE

Howdy!

Bad news, you guys. . . I can't find the part  2 of the write. I swear, I looked on every page, even the last one, but I found all my posts except the one I wanted!  Sorry. . . But I have decided to make this a solo write!  Sorry for all y'all who thought that it would be an RP.

So I'll just be starting where I left off from my memory.

Sketch~

Three gryphons, one rust-colored, one black with purple glints, the other mostly white and brown, with flecks of copper and black. They spiral down to the ground, and the rusty one asks, "Hey, Mist.  You needed us?"

Inka leaps on his back and cries, "Tresk,  Flintclaw, and, -- Wait, Flintclaw, why'd you come?! You have seven days!" She sound upset. "Don't carry anyone.  Windchaser, carry Sketch here.  Tresk, you can carry me and Mist, even though she can fly."

We soar above the forest, enjoying the view.  I may be the only one that notices, but Windchaser seems to be flying a bit closer to Flintclaw,as if she is going to plummet out of the sky at any moment. I lean in close to the side of his head (do gryphons have ears?) And whisper, "Windchaser, why didn't Inka want Flintclaw to come?"

"Ya see, Flintclaw is poisoned.  She's been slowly dying for ten years.  She has a week before she dies."

"And you have a crush on her?" I infer.

"How would you know?" He says, his neck warning up.

"Street smart. I know these types of things." I say, proud of myself.

"Hang tight.  We're almost there." He swoops down, staying about a small area in the forest. The three gryphons land together, and small groups of people gather around us.

I hear tidbits of what they have to say. "Who's she? Why'd Inka take her back? Is Flintclaw okay?"

Mist flies upwards.  "This is Sketch. She is a victim of Elmira Prism, just like the rest of us! Please treat her well!"

I hope off of Windchaser, grateful for Mist's little "speech." I hear more smalltalk based on me. The first thing I want to do is explore the camp, but Miststops me.
