WARRIOR RP! OF

Chatterbox: Inkwell

WARRIOR RP! OF

WARRIOR RP! OF CATS! WE'RE CATS!

*cough* Yes, I am making another Warrior cats RP!

This time, we have three clans. Sunclan, Lunarclan, and Eclipseclan. Sunclan lives in thin trees and wide plains, when the trees get thicker, the boundary of Lunarclan starts. When the trees get so thick that the leaves almost block all light, the boundary of Eclipseclan starts. A river runs through all the tarritories, being the biggest in Lunarclan's tarriatory and leading into the lake. All of their tarritories circle around a lake, with an island that they gather around in the middle. Around all of their tarritories is a rocky, deep canyon, blocking them from leaving. Their tarritories end when the forest becoms rocky, so that a clan cat doesnt accedently fall off the cliff.

Alright, I think this makes sence from here? Lunarclan is sorrta like a mix of Thunderclan and Riverclan, Sunclan is a mix of Thunderclan and Windclan, and Eclipseclan is a mix of Skyclan and Shadowclan. Sounds good? Alright.

RULES:

You can have an unlimited amount of charries, though I recomend bellow 5 because that can really get confusing with more then 5 charries.

All spots are open, regular warriors clans.

If you have a queen, you must RP her kits also. They don't count towards your cat limit.

The phrophocy is out there for anyone to make, so go ahaid and get creative! Just, if you're gonna kill someone's charrie off, ask them if it's alright first.

You CAN CREATE NEW CHARRIES AS WE GO INTO THE STORY. They can be someone's kits, or a rouge that crossed into the bounderys. There are roughs that live on the rocks by the cliff, but not many. Most are clan exiles and their kin.

oh, AND SOMEONE MAKE SOME ELDERS! I know RPing them can get borening, THATS WHY WE HAVE OTHER CHARRIES.

Alright, here is the chairre sheet!

Yep, he got it....except for this new part with Tigerfang! (and a bir of Icekit)

~Tigerfang

The forest was silent. Not even the wind dared to disturb this ground. My paws dug into the soft earth, longing to unbarry the cat that layed beneath. My eyes flecked with sadness as I stood over the grave of my dear friend Moonripple. Dustfeather and Jadestar had left awhile ago, but I refused to.

My eyes, they werent just filled with sadness, but also memories. I remember when they called me Tigerpaw, and she was Moonpaw. We were apprintances together, though she was boren later then me and Jadestar. I remember how we would boost about who would become leader, then promise that we would make the other duptey. And there sat little Jadepaw, amazed that these cats knew their future before they were even warriors. It’s funny how that same Jadepaw is now the leader of all of us. And Moonpaw is-was our duptey. “You almost made it.” I whispered, my eyes filling with more water. “You almost made it little Moonpaw.”

Somehow, this triggered me to look up. The dark sky was inky-black, and the moon was dark, darker then a full moon should be. This time tommarow, the sky would be as black as the Eclipseclan warriors. The eclipse itself.

Jadestar had told me of this, she had gotten a warning from Starclan to not go to the gathering because of it. For they had foretold a prophocy, resulting in two directions, peace and war. I was the only one she told, perhapse maybe Braircloud also. I remember it destinctivly, eventhough it was a few moonsets ago.

“Starclan gave me a phrophocy last night, with the clear warning of ‘don’t go to the gathering, the full moon will be covered’.” Her green eyes teared with the wind rustling in our faces, in the forest. “It went sortta like this, ‘Something is coming, darkness will rule, and the Sun will be blotted from the sky, on the night of the full moon Eclipse. Two paths lead from this fate, one of war, and one of peace. Blood will flow of that of a war, when Sun and Moon and Darkness come together, the only escape is ice over the river. Peace will come to those who wait, and wouldn’t tell a lie.’ What do you think this means?” Her tail twitched anxiously. “There-there was also another part, something to do with the cause of war, something to do with the LunarEclipse and hail, though I can’t remember.” Her eyes clouded.

“That----....hail? Really?” I snickered, my sence of humer not making my sister smile.

“This is serious, Tigerfang. I mean, what should we do about this war? What do you think will happen?”

“I dont know.” I admited. This just sounded like a normal eclipse. “Well, none of this will happen if all of the clans arent together, right?”

“Right.” She whispered, though her eyes shone with worry and dread.

I shuddered of the thought of actually going to war on this night. The river haden’t frozen, so blood will still break free, and all three clans will be together, if Sunclan agrees to help us.

Suddenly the braken moved and my ears turned to the side, listening to the soft footsteps aprotching. “Tigerfang.” He whispered, his deep voice much deeper then when we were apprintances. His amber eyes caught the light and shown in the darkness. His grey pelt rippled in the breeze. “Tigerfang, you should be heading back. It’s turning into Leaf-fall, the nights are getting colder and colder.” I looked up at the leaves fluttering in the small-branched trees like the maples and aspens. Their colorful leaves caught the light--even know. A breeze made me shiver again, and before long, he was by my side, cradling my flank. I let his warmth seize my cold. “She’s gone. It was because of Eclipseclan, and their needs for that stupid river.”

My eyes flashed, and I pulled away from him, snarling. “Its your fault, your fault she’s dead!” I said a little too loud.

“Wha-,” but I cut him off, anger flaring in my eyes.

“You made that deal with Sharpstar!”

His eyes flashed, as if he knew I knew something he didnt want out. Suddenly his backfur arched and his teeth were bared at me. I was shocked, but not really. “How’d you find out?” He hissed between teeth. “Was it Berrysnow? That little traitor-,”

“You told me.” I growled. “Of how you made a deal, a deal that involved both clans to be able to kill cats from other clans that were crossed their border.” He relaxed, his sholders rolling back, and suddenly looked less hostile. “What?” I growled. “Not the answer you were expecting? What are you hiding?”

“Nothing.” he growled, turning away. “I’m going back to camp.”

I roared in anger, jumping in front of him. He bristled. “I’m the clan deputy now. You follow the rules and my commands, or else you are punished. Every cat knows that.”

He shook his head. “But even if you do rub my fur the wron way, I could never hurt you.”

I smiled, flicking his nose with my tail. “Common lets go back.”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The darkness of camp greated us like the underside of a crows wing, muffling everything beneath. I slowly walked into the nursery, flicking my tail as Hailfire left the other way. As I emerged into the cave, I was greeted by Icekit with a drooping Fireflykit and Wolfkit by his shoulders. “Mother!” He exclaimed as he sented me, eyes brightening. “We’ve been waiting all day! I would have caught you before you left..but…” He guestered over to Littlekit. “He trapped me.”
Wolfkit yawned by his side, toppling over and onto Lillykit, who yowled at him in protest, triggering her mother to open one eye and shush the kits. I picked the kit up by his scruff and placed him in our nest. Then I grabbed Fireflykit and Icekit, who made no protest. “Mother.” Icekit whinned, standing back up as I laied down. “Silverstar gave me a prophocy while I was sleeping.”
My ears purked and my eyes filled with shock. “Silverstar?” I asked. “Why, you couldn’t have known her! Have the elders been telling you tails?”
“No!” Icekit squeeked. “She visits me all the time when I’m sleeping!”
My eyes perked with intrest. “Go on, my little kit.” I whispered.
He took a deep breath, his light grey chest puffing out and then retracting again. “She told me this;
‘The LunarEclipse has begun,
Every cat must say their wishes,
When the first Moon falls and the ripples turn red,
Expect the lies to glow and hail then bite and fly,
Until, nothing is left but shattered darkness.’
And then she told me to tell you before I go to sleep, for I will not wake in the morning, and she’ll see me again soon!”
“Wow, how could a little kit like you come up with that?” I mused, nuzzling him closer to me. “Go to sleep, Icekit. We’ll desscuss this in the morning.”
But he was already ahaid of me, and fast asleep.
~~~~~~~~

I wake to Wolfkit pulling at my ear. When I blinked open my eyes, I realized that the sun was high in the sky, almost to noon. I yawned, and slowly rose to my feet, shaking out my fur and blinking my sleep-crusted eeys. “Mother!” Fireflykit squeeked. “Something’s wrong with Icekit!”

I looked down at the white tabby, snuggled up in the bedding, his fur almost white. “He’s just sleeping late.” I responded, lowering my head to lick the top of the kit’s head.

“No,” Fireflykit whailed. “He WONT WAKE UP!”

Fear gripped my like a talon as I realized the kit wasn’t breathing. “BRAIRCLOUD!” I yowled. “COME QUICK!” I started licking my kit helplessly, eyes vacant. I can’t bare to loose another!

She came, and prodded my Icekit. But soon, she anounced him as dead. The other kits gathered around, shock lighting their gazes. Greif gripped my heart, and I thought I heard a small voice echo in the cave…

I am only the first of the deaths to happen today…..

And then a memorie hit her. Icekit had said that SIlverstar had predicted his death. ‘She said I wont wake in the morning, and she’ll see me again soon!’ So whatif he really was visited by Silverstar, and was told a true prophocy? Swallowing my greif, I shouldered out of the cats that have gathered, and hared for the exit. “Where are you going?” Someone called.

“To warn Jadestar.” My voice echoed throughout the camp.

~Icekit

“SIlverstar!” I purred, jumping around her paws that dissapeared at the tips. “I’m back!”

“And to stay.” Silverstar smiled, though it was grim.

I stopped. “What do you mean, ‘to stay’?” I asked. “Will I see Tigerfang again?”

Her face drooped. “Yes. But you must be paceint.”

Suddenly, I saw a familular shape lurking away. “Moonripple!” I called, exited, as I chased her, abandoning Silverstar.

I didn’t realize I had stars in my fur until I looked back and saw it for myself.

And thats when I realized.

I was dead.

Too late, I colided into Moonripple, who jumped. She smiled warmly down at me, showing me the pool at her feet. Having been here a few times, I knew what it was, and what it was for. “Can I see mother?” I asked hesitantly.

She nodded, and I looked down. There I saw my mother, sleeping next to my dead body as if I was still there. Her coat was remarkable, and looking at mine, I wished I had the same one. Suddenly realizing that I will not see her for a long time, or any of my siblings, I started to sing. I small song I had heard other kits and apprintances up here sing.

Rest now, mother.

Dream now, mother.

Hold me close,

Hold me tight,

For when you wake I will be gone.

Dream of the life I should have had.

Rest so you can fight for my siblings,

For when you blink they may be gone.

Please rest now,

Dream now mother.

For when you wake I will be gone.

Protect me, while you can.

For when you wake I will be gone.

For when you wake I will be gone.

Jadestar~

I finally get up when Tigerfang runs into my den and has a panicked look in her eyes.

"J-Jadestar," she sputters.

Then she breaks down crying, and shocked, I move over to her and rest my head on hers.

"Tigerfang, what's wrong?"

What's so odd is that she would do this to me to be a protective older sister, but now I'm going to have to be the reassuring younger one.

"It's-it's Icekit," she sobs. "He's d-dead."

My heart stops for a brief moment. "How?"

"Starclan knows," she wails. "But he delivered a prophecy last night before he told me he-he would die."

She sobs again and then tells me the prophecy.

"‘The LunarEclipse has begun,

Every cat must say their wishes,

When the first Moon falls and the ripples turn red,

Expect the lies to glow and hail then bite and fly,

Until, nothing is left but shattered darkness.’"

She finishes crying for now and looks at me.

But I know what some of it means.

"Tigerfang. This'll be hard for you, but... something must be done about Hailfire."

"I suspected it all along," she replies. "But what do you know now?"

"I told you about the small vision I got in my den one day. And when it says 'expect the lies to glow and hail then bite and fly....' Fire glows. Hail will fly. Hailfire. He cannot be here any longer. He must be evil. Right?"

She sits up. "He was acting very suspicious about something, but he wouldn't tell even me. But who are you going to make deputy?"

"We'll confront him. And deputy...In the vision, it said the one with the golden heart. Could it mean Goldenfang?"

Her eyes brighten. "Of course it could, but he's so young!"

"He may be a part of a bigger picture for Starclan," I reply. "He'll be leader one day, most likely. But in order for that to happen, I would have to die first, would I not?"

"Don't talk like that," she replies. "But if what you say is true...we must act immeditely on the mater regarding Hailfire. It hurts me because of Icekit and now Hailfire, but the good of the clan is important."

I nod and smile at her. But my face quickly turns serious.

"Tigerfang, there's something I need to tell you that I haven't told anyone but Crowstar, Maplefeather, and Briarcloud."

"You can't tell your own sister?" she jokes. But she sees the look on my face and looks at me concerned. "What's wrong?"

I take a deep breath and exhale. "Tigerfang. You know how I told you that I've never had a mate or kits before?"

She nods.

"Well I do. I've lied all these moons to keep them safe."

Her face is covered in shock. "What?"

I sigh. "When Eclipseclan and Lunarclan were throat to throat with eachother at one point, Sharpstar made a vow that any kits born of both clans would be killed. Before then, my mate was some cat in Eclipseclan, and after that vow, I had to keep as discrete as possible. But I had kits, and Briarcloud helped me. But Sharpstar found out about three of them, and he took and killed all of them. But he gave up after three. He didn't know that there was a fourth, Windkit. I took Windkit to Sunclan, where I knew he would be safe. Crowstar and Maplefeather took him in as their own, and from that point, he stayed with them. He's still fairly young, so this didn't happen too long ago."

"Who were the other three?" she asks.

"Featherkit, Hawkkit, and Ashkit," I reply.

"And who's your mate?"

I look at her. "Maybe later."

There's a silence between us when she clears her throat.

"There's another thing," she says.

My ears perk.

"Right as I left the den to go to you, a voice, probably Icekit, whispered in my ear, 'I am only the first of the deaths to happen today.' Jadestar, more are going to die!"

"No," I say. "This can't be happening."

We both head out of the den and to the clearing, where lots of cats are gathered around, looking at us with anxious eyes.

"Jadestar!" one of them exclaims. "Foxears drowned!"

~Tigerfang

As my sister told me her secrect, I couldn't feel upset. For I had been hiding a simular secret from her, and I wasn't about to tell my clan leader, even if she was my sister. My secrect ran deeper then her's did.

So I walked out without a word more of her secret, and am immediatly met with the sound of "Foxears drowned!"

After the lost of Moonripple and my Icekit, Foxears death doesn't brush whats left of my greif. I felt stoic towards his death. Just another cat gone. So I asked simply, "Did you find his body?"

"No!" Dustfeather mummbled, with the warrior when he died. Hailfire shook his head also, and my pelt bristled a tad. "We were on a hunting patrol, he fell in, and disappeared! We didn't see him get out."

"So he may still be alive?" A raspy voice came from the back, eyes wide. It was our only elder after the flooding, Elkscar, and the father of Foxears.

"Well, I guess so. I will hope he got out safley." Jadestar mummbled, eyes dark. "But for now, we will comense another morning. In the light of the sun, for Silverpelt will not be visible tonight, we will barry poor Icekit."

My chest heaved again. "W-we-e w-ill stand strong, m-my clan." I started, easing my pain as I went on. "A death is only a trick to make us stronger. Their spirits are here," I guestered with my nose to the sky. "And they are with us more then not. Tonight we must remember that we are a clan, and that we can stand up for the warrior code, even if we are short on numbers!"

I was met by agreed meows. Hailfire came up to me with comfort, though I reconized something in his eyes that I did not like to see, to I pulled away. He followed me as I went into the nursery to grab my kit's body, guestering with my tail for my remaining two to follow. Snowfur followed with a sad look in her eyes, for she was fond of my kit. "Mother..." Littlekit asked.

"You may go with them. But stay close to me." His mother answered, exchanging glances with Graybird, who was also allowing her kits to leave camp for the barrial of one of their own.

"Tigerfang..." Hailfire asked for my attention, but I denied it. I shoved my kits away from him and continued out of camp.

~~~~~~~~~~~
I sat on the cool earth, clouds covering the sun and making me shiver. Rain patted on the earth, and my kits gathered under me for warmth. The cold rain was numb against my fur, for all of my feeling had been drained from the two deaths of some of the closest cats to me.
Atleast Sunclan will fight with us when we need them. I whispered in my mind, remembering Jadestar whisper to me the only good thing in the past two days. Atlesast with allies, we wont be as likley to loose.
Suddenly I senced something behind me, a cat, and a large one from the sound of its paws. Though I didn't turn, my eyes were fixed on the ground which my kit lay, covered in soil. The though of it made me want to tare the earth away, to rescue my poor-- "Tigerfang."
I turned, startled that this cat spoke, and inturupted my thoughts. My kits were too sad to look to see their father, standing there, the rain dripping off his pelt, eyes bright in the dim lighting. "Leave me." I growled, eyes dim.
"Don't you think that I have the right to morn my son?" He growled, sholders tense.
"He's not your son." I said simply, my shell cracked enough to the point where I could expose anything uder the littlest bit of pressure. "He's not yours, none of them are. You were easy to manipulate into beilieving that he was."
I heard an outraged snarle behind me. "Don't lie to me! I am your duptey!" He growled.
"I'm not lieing. I never loved you, Hailfire. Not like I loved...." My throat caught, remembering that cat. Though I couldnt get myself to say his name, no, not outloud. "Unlike you." My whisper turned into a hiss, and my kits shifted beneth my belly, uncomfortable. "You're a lier. You lied about something. To the whole clan, and Jadestar made you duepty."
"What?!" He growled, both outraged at my reveil that I knew his lie, and of the fact that I had never loved him.
"It was a one-sided relationship." I went on. "I needed to cover something up, so I accepted when you asked to be my mate. (I don't really know how this goes in Warriors, she never really explains it, or I can't remember it. I think I'm going to make it like perposing in this RP) You were just in time to be the father of my kits. And you belived me."
Suddenly he was quiet, taking this in. "What happened to their father then?" He asked, a crack of hurt splitting through his voice.
I looked down. "This isn't the time." I whispered. "Leave me."
I heard him walk away, the crumpled of wet leaves under his feet leading in the direction back to camp. "Is this true, mommy?" I heard Fireflykit whisper, her usually bouncy self gone. "Is our real father from another clan?"
"Yes." I whispered. "This isn't the time, my kits. Icekit must be morned, and we will morn him until you can't stand the rain any longer. Then we will wish him a safe journey to StarClan."
"Why didn't we tell Icekit?" Wolfkit murmered, sadness making his usual voice very quiet.
"He already knew." I whispered, looking up into the clouds. "That kit knew much more then he should at his age, being a part of StarClan starting from when he could walk. Only now did he becom all StarClan, and left us to morn over his parting."
My kits were silent. "We won't tell anyone about our daddy." Fireflykit promissed. "The clans don't like mixed-clan kits."
I smiled, and looked back in the direction that Hailfire dissapeared in.
And I just prayed to StarClan he wouldn't tell.
~Foxears (What, he's not dead? JK XD)
I exploded from the riverbed, miles down stream. A waterfall roared nearby, and I knew I had sucsesfully gone downstream, to the outside bourders of the clans.
I had sucsessfully faked my death.
Suddenly the bushes rustled, and a familular black tabby appeared. "What's the news?" He asked.
"EclipseClan is going to strike LunarClan, who has joined alleiances with Sunclan to prepair. Their duptey is dead, and their new one is untrustworthy. They will be an easy take-down for EclipseClan. And when all clans come out short on warriors, we can attack, and takeover."
"Good." The dark tabby replied. "They are attacking tonight."
"And we'll be there watching. Waiting."
~Amberfang
Stonepaw. He was not ready. He could bearly talk to any warrior, he was good at hunting, but at nothing else. He still had much training ahaid of him.
And Morningpaw, or should I say Morningkit is just that, a kit. Not even 5 moons yet. They will die in the battle tonight. Sharpstar cant excpect a kit to fight?
So I stormed into his den, fuming. "Sharpstar, this is outragouse!" I burst, coming across Sharpstar talking with Ravenheart, probably about the battle ahaid. "You can't make an apprintance who did not take his final test to become a warrior? Why, he can bearly talk to me! And these kits, their not even 5 moons, and you made them apprintances?!"
"We do what hast to be done." Ravenheart responded, eyes narrowing. "And if you don't respect this, you can leave this clan."
~Sparrowflight
"We are so short on warriors." I remark to Crowstar again. Ever since we agreed to help them fight EclipseClan, I've been doupting it. "What if we loose? EclipseClan was bearly effected by the flood. We recived the worst of it, being SunClan and unable to swim like LunarClan."
"If we fight seporate battles, more are lost." Crowstar replied horsley, clearly something else on his mind.
But what could be more important then this?
Jadestar~
I silently pad over and sit next to Tigerfang. My fir gently touched hers, but she still seems far away, as if lost in thought. I wouldn't blame her.
Icekit's death was not only hard for Tigerfang and Hailfire, but for me too. I loved that kit. He was always so bouncy, even when he couldn't really see.
I interrupt my thoughts to see Tigerfang digging her claws at the earth.
Suddenly, she quickly changes her gaze to me.
"Kits, go to the den."
There's a couple of whines, but they do as their mother is told and they leave.
"J-Jadestar," Tigerfang sputters. "We need a new deputy. I have a hunch, but more than a hunch. And have I ever been wrong about only a hunch before?"
I shake my head. "No. I agree. We need one before the battle."
I nod my head slightly and her eyes clear.
"Are you sure he's the one?"
I nod my head too. "He's the one."
Wind(or Beam)kit:
It's raining. Again. I burry myself deeper into Maplefeather's fur, but she bats my head lightly.
"So sleepy. Does someone need to check with Frostcloud?"
"No!" I whine.
"Well I think you should," she says, shuffling me out. "Just to be safe. A lot of cats get a little too sick during this time."
I roll my eyes and head for Frostcloud's den when the rain starts to pour harder. I can't see my way to the den, and I start to wobble around. I walk for the den, but I can tell I missed it, so I huddle underneath a big leaf and wait for the rain to calm down.
~~~~~

I awake, and the rain has definitely died down. But I have no idea where I am.

I desperately search for the sign of a cat, and a strong but unknown smell leads me around a different cat's territory. And that's when I stumble into clan grounds.

Cats are putting things in the hunting pile, apprentices are training, kits are playing, elders are talking, and warriors are putting together patrols.

I try to run out but I suddenly run head long into a cat with tiger stripes.

Darkfang-

I am roused from my nap on the high rock at dawn. I was sleeping there because I hoped Starclan would give me some guidance on my apprentince-trainingship. "We attack nooooow!" yowls the leader. I complain silently and leap down from the high rocks. I pad over to Ravenheart and I make a request. "May I stay behind to guard the camp?" I ask. "No. We need all the help we can get. Birchfall and the queens will stay," he snaps. I then race out of camp and find my apprentice. "Blackpaw, if anything goes wrong, come straight to me and we'll fight together. If nothing goes wrong, pair up with a friend and fight," I pant. "Okay! I'm so excited! My first battle!" Blackpaw yips excitedly. I quickly herd her to the mob of Eclispeclan cats and join them rushing to the border.

After walking back from Icekit's barryial grounds, next to Moonripple, I just sit at the opening to the nursery with my kits curled at my paws, curled up together as if they were going to lose eachother when the sun comes up the next day.

My eyes were faraway, picturing Icekit running with SatrClan, taking in the beauty of the souroundings he had only seen in dreams.

Then suddenly Jadestar sits next to me. I tell my kits to go inside, and we talk. The new deputy must be appointed before the sun goes down, just as a precaution. She desided to do it after the rain dies down.

~~~
As the last few droos of water trickle off of the canopy above, I walk out of the nursery, and see Goldenfang and Berrysnow sitting viagle by the entrance. They were suposed to do this at night, but since the eclipse would be happening, Jadestar agreed with Starclan rhat it should be heald durning the day.
That's when something bumps into me. When I look down, surprise gripped me. "I thought I smelled Sunclan. But your just a kit." I started, and a fearful look crossed his gaze. Before he could run I picked him up by his scruff and carried him farther into the camp. I then placed him down by the elders den, sitting back-facing the entrance. I wanted to question him before the clan gets involved, being a queen I can be more sympathetic then the others. The clan might hurt him, and we couldnt have that happen. Why, he was just a kit! "What are you doing so far from your nursery?! Your mother must be worried sick about you. Why, you could have been eaten by a fox for all she knows!"
He stared at her wide-eyed. I sighed and said, "I just lost one of my kits. He died in his sleep. I know the pain your mother is going through right now. We must get you back. Come with me, and Ill have Jadestar organize a patrol to bring you back." His face flooded with relife as I got up, but froze as I paused mid step. "What's your name?"
"B-beamkit." He stammered. My eyes flickered. "Though I was called Windkit for a little while. I wonder why they changed it."
"Windkit!" I exclaimed, all to loudly.
Eyes turned to me, and syddenly everyone was gathered around the small kit, asking how he got here, who he was, why he was here, and other quetpstions like that.
I scooped him up in my jaws and pushed through the crowd, heading streight towards Jadestar's den.
But not for the reason Beamkit thought.
Jadestar~
I'm about to confirm my decision of the new deputy with Starclan when Tigerfang bursts into my den, a kit that is not her own in her mouth.
I look at her curiously. "Tigerfang...?"
She drops the kit, and the kit scurries behind her. Tigerfang sighs, and pushing the kit in front of her, she introduces it.
"W-Beamkit, Jadestar. Jadestar, Beamkit."
Claws take upon my heat. "What?"
I can't see anything, and my head throbs.
"Tigerfang, wh-what are you talking about?"
"This kit came from Sunclan," she replies. Then, directing her direction towards it, she adds, "Lost your way in the rain, dear?"
Beamkit nods quickly.
"Just get him back to Sunclan," I say, turning around.
Tigerfang puts him out of the den and orders Dustpounce to take him back. Then she trots up and sits in front of me.
"Jadestar," she begins. "Windkit. I know Windkit now. But tell me who the mate is."
I shake my head. "I-I can't."
"I'll tell you," she offers.
I stare at her in shock. "It's Hailfire? No? What?"
She shakes her head. "They were born of both Eclipseclan and Lunarclan, I can tell you that so far."
"I'm sorry," I reply. "I promise you'll be the first to know when the time is right. Now I need to speak with Starclan. I think Goldenfang may be the one."
