In this RP, we will prove that even realistic stories can be moving, magical, exciting. That the best writers (like us) can magnify something mundane into something huge. Wonderful. Extreme. Name: Hania Samara
Age: 13

Nationality (let's get some diversity): Syrian refugee
Any disabilities or disorders? She doesn't, but her sister has PTSD.
Personality: She’s really quiet at school, but she talks at home. I’ll develop her much more later on, don’t worry.
Backstory: She and her family fled Syria in 2012, her sister getting PTSD from all the terror. She had many friends who died, and lost her personality as a result.
Appearance: As I said, she’s Syrian. She wears a headscarf. Not much else to add. Average height and everything.

Name: Anna Bergen
Age: 30
Grade (if in school): She’s a teacher.
Nationality (let's get some diversity): German Jewish.
Any disabilities or disorders? No
Personality: Much better than normal teachers. She connects with the students on a deep level, and always offers advice. Again, I’m not saying much here, I’ll develop her more later.
Backstory: Her grandparents fled Germany during the Holocaust. After the war, they both returned to Germany, having forgiven the country (they were extra special and kind, okay?)
Appearance: Pretty average teacher look, with light brown hair and modest clothing.

Name: Gabriella Talbot
Age: 13
Grade: 8
Nationality: From London, England, even though she was born in Thames.
Any disabilites or disorders?: She has high-spectrum autism. It isn't noticable in the way she looks or really acts, but sometimes it is in her personality. She might freak out over small things or be socially awkward.
Personality: Definently socially awkward, so she doesn't have many friends except for her older brother. She is sensitive, but the only thing she really connects to and is herself around is the violin. She loves the violin and is, to some people, suprisingly good at it given her situation. She's fairly quiet and she's way smarter than she is given credit for.
Backstory: Her father was French and her mother is English. She is fluent in French and in English. She lived with her mother, father, and older brother but her father was killed in a huge bus accident one day. Her mother changed but tries to be positive around her children. Her older brother by 2 years, James, goes to the same school as her. Her school teaches grades 6-12. (Mei, can Gabriella and Hania go to the same school?)
Appearance: She has curly blonde hair that has blonde streaks in it that goes down past her shoulders. She has sharper features that also look sweet at the same time. She has big hazel eyes that look sad sometimes, and she's very pale, has freckles, and is slim.
Other: Her brother is kind of the opposite of her. He always seemed to be the perfect child, and he's quite athletic, being the captain of the football (soccer) team back in England and being the soccer captain in America on the school team also. He's fairly protective of his sister, and is social and has friends.
If anyone wants to RP as James, they can. If you do, you can also develop his character more.

I'm actually going to save the autism for another character, so I have to re do something about Gabriella.
She used to be on a football team back in England, but the same bus accident caused her leg to be amputated, and now she has a prosthetic leg. She still tries to be active and likes football, and she is still quiet.

Nationality: Half Chinese, Half German (No kidding this is me IRL)
Disabilities?: Unofficially has ADHD -- she wasn't tested for it.
Personality: Funny, nerdy, silly, likes to be in control, cares a lot, is only mean to people that don't like her, cautious, impatient.
Backstory: A twelve year old with a sense of humor and good grades. Has really stupid friends. Has a MAJOR crush on Soda. Loves to watch YouTube and read. She goes to a middle school called SMS and met most of her friends there.
Appearance: Brown hair and eyes, blue converse glasses, 4'9" acne around her nose, flushed cheeks

Backstory: Goes to SMS with Lucy, likes One Piece WAAAAAAAAAAY too much, doesn't have the BEST grades (Like an F, five C's, and one A) Sometimes hangs out with Lucy and her Stupid friends.
Appearance: Brown eyes, black hair, about 5'1", acne, wears black glasses that are scratched a lot, always wears a light, bright green rain jacket (even when It's NOT raining!)

Other: Has a mother and a younger sister (seven years old), mother named Liza and sister Xocoyotl. Their father got deported and now it's just the three of them. They all fled Mexico together to escape the gangs. America is their only hope.

Any disabilities or disorders? Past anorexia and depression.
Personality: Very sarcastic. Pretends like she doesn't care but really has a heart of gold. Very ambitious, hard working, and kind. She also doesn't care what anyone thinks about her.
Backstory: Her mum is English, her dad American. Was very close with her grandmother, until she passed when Aspen was nine. In late elementary school and middle school she had a lot of body image issues and developed anorexia when she was in fifth grade. After her grandmother passed, she fell into depression until she began seeing a therapist and beat it with the support of her family and friends (the same for the anorexia). She started a self-discovery journey in 7th and 8th grade.
Appearance: Short (about 4'10'') and very petite, has curly auburn hair that's cut into a short bob. Has very fair skin and lots of freckles. Likes to wear paint-splattered overalls with lots of tears (jeans included). Has a favorite bomber jacket that has all kinds of pins and patches. Loves Converse and Brogues.
