Chatterbox: Inkwell

Okay, so if

Okay, so if you have chesked the story graveyard lately, you knw I'm bringing Emma and Quincy: Battle for Friendship back.  So I'm going to start it right now.

Quincy

I walk down the street to Emma's house.  It's hot outside, and I can't help but pout about it.  It's the middle of summer, and we're in California, so of course it's going to be hot.  I mean, not as bad as Emma, but I mean, even when I summon water, the water is warm.

When I spot her house, I'm surprised that she's not out there waiting for me.  Usually we make plans over the summer, and this summer is no different.  So why would she ditch me?  Whatever.  She's probably playing soccer in the park with the boys.

When I get to her porch, I'm about to stomp my foot out of anger when I spot an envelope on the ground addressed to me.  Great.  Now she can't even tell me things in person?  What's up with her?  She hasn't been acting normal lately.

I tear the envelope open and unfold the paper inside.  It's typed, which is odd.  Emma usually handwrites things.
