The night everything

The night everything

The night everything was lost

The soft night breeze ruffled the grass, but it didn't touch a family of foxes in a den under the ground. The den was cozy, and the sound of breathing filled the air. Two foxes and two cubs slept peacefully, unaware of the danger coming.

Footsteps padded the grass, and eyes that glowed yellow pentrate the darkness in front of them. Their tales swished the ground, and their snouts sniffed the air. They were looking for someone or something.

They found the hole that the family of foxes was sleeping in. One by one they filed in, their claws itching for blood and revenge.

The mother and father awoke, fear churning through them. They saw the enemies. They slid their claws out, and glanced at their sleeping cubs. They were pephared to fight for them.

There enemy's didn't care about the cubs, but they would leave nothing breathing when they left. The enemies jumped on the mother and father.

Fur flew and screeches ripped the air.

The cubs woked up. They started to wail. They were afeard.

The mother glanced at her cubs. If she toke them and ran, the enemy would follow her.  She had to stay here and fight..it was the only way her cubs might live. "Run!" she yowled/

One of the cubs, older than the first took her brothers hand, and ran with him out of the hole.

The enemies didn't notice.

The cubs ran, nad when they couldnt anymore they hid in a bush. They settled down to go to sleep, but they couldn't. They were to full of fear and cunfusion.

"Will are mother and dad be okay?" asked the boy, cub.

"Oh clover, I don't know."
