       Domed

Imagine everything you've ever dreamed would be in the future, it's all here. Flying cars, hover boards and more. Everything was perfect, well, as far as the naked eye can see. But look a little closer, dig a little deeper and you would finds things you had never imagined. That's exactly what 12 year old Alex was doing. She was always curious about things no one else took notice to. Like the fact that hover boards could go a lot higher then they were allowed to fly them, of course it might be a safety matter. But somehow Alex didn't think so...... Alex was taking her hover board further then anyone before her. Maybe she would just break a world record, and be put in juvenile detention, but maybe she would discover something- and get away with it, for that matter. As she flew higher she began to whisper to herself. She knew she uncovered something when her whispers echoed back. "Echoing? What could that mean?" Alex whispered to herself. "Agh! Ow!" Alex had just hit something, but what? There was nothing there. Or was there? Alex lowered herself and then stuck her hand up it definitely hit something. But what? Alex's mind answered. A dome. But why would there be a dome? To hide something. Alex thought. But what would they need to hide?

Alex was climbing through the trash shoot. It was they only place she could think of that would go outside the dome. Trash banged against her. Everything was slimy. "Ehhh..." said Alex as something old and slimy hit her. Finally, after hours of being pelted with trash she fell out. Landing on her stomach in a pile of trash. She looked up, the air was putrid. Suddenly she saw a blue light. It zapped her and a pile of trash. Everything went black. When her eyes opened she looked around, she was sitting on a pile of trash, around her was all green. Aliens ran about, trying to escape the putrid air that the trash was emitting. She cried. What were the humans doing.
