Hello, this is

Chatterbox: Inkwell

Hello, this is

Hello, this is Rogue.

I am trying to make a role-play thread and I have the feeling I just did, so... If I did, then this RP thread is for kids who have been abandoned by everybody. They have mysterious powers. I personally don't care about OP-ness so have at it, the only restriction being greater consequences for greater powers. For example, my charrie, Rogue, has power over time, space, and the dimensions, basically Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina all in one. She does not have much control over her powers, especially not time and dimensions so she only uses those for emergencies.

Name: Rogue

Age: Middle teens

Appearence: Straight, reddish brown hair that goes a little ways past her shoulders. Striking green eyes. Average height. Usually wearing a black hoodie and jeans, and she prefers to go barefoot, but when there's stormy wheat her she puts on her socks and a pair of sneakers.

Powers: See introduction.

Consequences: See introduction.

If I did not just create an RP then I don't know WHAT I just did, but I hope whoever is reading this enjoyed it somehow. :)

~ Astrum ~

The first rays of sunlight shot up from the horizon, turning the city a dull grey.  The few early morning cars zoomed by.

On the top of a tall apartment building I sat up and yawned.  Looking to the east I saw the city skyline.  Buildings of varying heights seemed to be cut from black paper and pasted on a background of the lightening sky.  Yellow gold, light pink, lavendar purple, light blue, and the last bit of dark blue, where a few stars could still be seen sparkling before the sun out shone them.

I stood, stretched, and dusted my tunic off.  Time to go before someone spotted me up here or saw me climbing down.  I touched my rope belt to check the security of my knife and pouch, then made my way to the edge of the roof.

I found a curtained window and leaped from the roof to the fire escape landing below.  I clambered quickly and quietly down the rusty fire escape stairs, dashing across the landings, hoping no early riser looked out their window.  I reached the last landing and sat on the edge for a moment, legs dangling, before sliding off.  I landed on the cement ground and heard a “riiip”.  Sighing, I inspected the new tear in the already ragged hem of my tunic.  There was no way I could fix it.  No use crying over spilt milk I thought and stood.

Imediately I regretted my decision as my ankle gave way and I crumpled to the ground.  I groaned, I’d forgotten about my weak ankle.  It had been weak ever since I twisted it while running from a group of rock throwing kids.  My energy was never enough to heal it fully.  At least I could stop the pain.  Wincing I rubbed my ankle, humming with eyes closed.  Warmth flowed to my fingers and into my ankle.  A soft light surrounded me, a sweet fragrance filled the air.  The pain lessened.  Slowly the warmth, the light, and the fragrance faded.  I opened my eyes and stood again, testing my ankle.  The pain was gone.  I only hoped I had enough energy to last the day.

Walking briskly I reached the community garden, my first destination of the day, fairly quickly. There I turned on the garden water pump and drank.  Then I washed my hands and face.  If I wanted to sell my artwork on the street I must look clean.  Few would buy something from a dirty teenager.

I started on to my next destination, the park.  Arriving there I sat under a large tree and spread my poncho on the ground before me.  I set my the art I had drawn on it and sat back to wait.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I think I did an okay job.  I decided to try and write the section from my character’s point of view this time.  I write better using the third person point of view.  I’ll probably be going back to my third person point of view next time.
Where should our characters meet?
Thank you for reading this Admins!
ok, here I go, hope it's good! tell me if I should change anything!
~Jena~
I clutched my head, feeling a headache coming on. Then I took a deep breath, trying to clear my mind. I stepped out of the old shed, and took in a breath of fresh air. my head started to clear, making it easier to think. I lay down on the grass, staring up at the sun. I closed my eyes- they were starting to burn in the sun. I was disturbed by a cracking of twigs. I looked up quickly, to see a boy running through the underbrush. "what is he running from?" I thought. then I heard pounding footsteps that were much too heavy to be the boy's... "well, at least I know it's something big." I mumbled. I shifted into a wolf, and swiftly padded over to the glade where the boy stood panting. I caught sight of a huge, brown bear  charging into the glade, getting ready to spring at the boy. I crouched down, and sprung, right as the bear was going to jump at the boy. I landed on the bears back, chasing it away. Why did I do it? I didn't know. the boy... he seemed so familiar! the bear ran off, so I trotted over to the boy, who was still there, in the glade. I sat down in front of the boy, and stared into his eyes. with a jolt I noticed it was... Marux. Marux… I found him. I fell into his arms, and started to cry. He patted me on the shoulder and told me it was ok.
~Marux~
My feet pounded on  the forest floor, but the bear's feet made much more noise. I stopped in a small glade, slapping my hands on my knees and trying to catch my breath. I heard a rustle in the bushes, and thought "wow. I'm going to get eaten by a bear, when I'm only eighteen. great..." The bear came into the glade, his haunches up. He was about to jump on me, but out of nowhere, a fierce looking wolf sprung on the bears back. she chased the bear off while I stared at the wolf, in awe. the wolf came sprinting back, and she stared up into my face. Her eyes were the exact same hazel color as Jena’s… “that isn’t helping.” he thought angrily. Jena. That's why he was here in the first place. to look for his girlfriend that he hadn't seen in a year. Just as he looked back down at the wolf, there was a flash of movement, and the wolf turned into a beautiful girl, who WAS Jena. she fell into his arms and cried. I clumsily patted her shoulder, whispering "it's ok, it's all right. shhhh..."   "but was it?" I thought tentatively. And I wished I hadn't.
sorry guys, i cant post too much. i actually forgot that i put in a charrie (i actually put in two, but im abandoning Hazel/Robin)... oof. yknow, ill just have Storm die. there, thats smart XD [im actually not kidding.]
~Storm~
I skip lightly into the marketplace, yawning, and grab an apple from a stand. Quickly i take a bite, then slip it into my pocket and dart out of the marketplace. I walk down the road, looking for something to do. Oh, there, someone selling art. I wont be able to buy it, but it's cool to look at. I go over, surprised to see that the person selling art is just a teenager, with black hair and two different-colored eyes. I kneel down and look at the art. its breathtaking, beautiful, and so good.  "your a great artist" i say, and then i walk off. back to the park, time to have a conversation... i sit down in front of my shed and sigh. Then i think of dust and bones, and suddenly a glowing figure errupts out of the ground. "hello, mister direction ghost..." i say. "the parental things? i will find another ghost. good day, Myra Ellis." only the ghosts know my real name. only them. and ive been talking to one a day, trying to find information about my parents, who 'moved on' into their second lives for some reason. direction ghost is gone, and another takes his place. "my parents?" 'yes. i know them, miss myra. your father... he was burned. caught in a fire, did you know he was a firefighter?' finally. ive found one. i lean closer, the ghosts form flickering wildly. im losing connection, so i inhale the apple and squint. the ghosts voice grows louder, her form stables. "more... more please. tell me about my mother." i demand, my eyes flickering with the light from the ghost. 'your mother... just 18 when she met your father, hm? yes, thats right. she fell in love right away. they married two years later. she was a lawyer. all the judges loved her. she won so many cases...' "no, i know that already! how did she die? how? tell me!" my voice grows taut with hunger for the knowledge of my dead parents... 'she-she was killed. murdered right after giving you, by the doctor, who went mad.' the ghost starts to fade. "No! dont leave yet, i need more! i need to know!" i scream, my voice echoing through the park. The ghost sighs. 'she had curly hair. rosy cheeks. a beautiful face.' i can almost imagine her. so perfect... and then the ghost dissapears. i let loose a bloodcurdling scream and pour all of my energy into my fingertips, pressing them to the ground. the ghost comes back, but she is flickering, and i cant hear her... i need more. more. "TELL ME! Tell me everything about them! the way they talked! how she laughed! tell me! i need to know!" i shout, and start drawing on my life force for energy. its dangerous, but i need to know. all i can focus on is the fact im actually starting to know them. to start to hear their voices in my head, to remember what it was like before i was born... even though i wasnt there, i can still hear them. theyre calling me... calling... the girl slumps to the ground. she is still. then she flips over, body spasming, staring at something no one can see. she screams, "TELL ME! TELL ME!-" and then she is silent. her eyes fade out of focus. she's...
-----
"dead."
"really?"
"yes. in the park, a girl. just dead, for no reason."
"oh my. turn on the TV, wont you?"
"sure."
[a news reporter, sitting solemly at a table, the screen behind them showing images of a girl slumped on the grass of a park, her hand outstretched.]
"hello, welcome back to Channel 8 News, and we got news. Today, at 4:40 pm, a family was taking a walk in the community park, and they found this girl lying on the grass. she wouldnt respond, they called 911 only for emergency services to confirm she was dead."
[the screen shows ambulence workers lifting the girl into a amulence]
"no one knows who the girl is. any leads? contact 1800-367-Channel8. Aaaaand on to our next story! dogs are being trained to fetch computers without damaging them at the Oswald Dog Center..." [the lady and her surroundings fade to black.]
Since you killed your character are you not doing this RP?  I think you mixed up Dolphin’s character, Asha, with my character, Astrum.  No worries about it though, the names are similar!
Saylor~~
I quickly made my way to the dark alley on Hearth Street, making sure to keep to the shadows. When I reached the narrow alley, I walked purposefully to a rope that was hanging down at the end. I climbed up, up, up, up, to the top of a small building. Up there, I had crafted a compact shelter out of a couple stolen blankets and sticks. Inside the shelter, I grabbed a backpack and stuffed it full o everything lying around: a banana, my favorite book, a compass, two changes of clothes, and a sleeping bag. It was a special backpack, made from Willow Cotton, which allowed it and everything inside to shrink along with me when I shapeshifted into a sparrow. Which is exactly what I needed to do. I slipped on my backpack, snapped my fingers, closed my eyes, and pictured a sparrow in my mind. Whoosh Whoosh Whooo Whooo. I opened my eyes. I was a tiny bird! I spread my wings, and took off, over the stores and houses. Without warning, bittersweet tears started to fill my minuscule eyes. I had been waiting for this day for 5 years, and now it had finally come! Up ahead, I spotted the gates of the city, I was so close. Yes! I was out! Finally! I safely landed in the woods, and turned back into a human. Then, I remembered that I had flown 7 miles without break, and I collapsed at the foot of a tree. I woke up 4 hours later, darkness consuming the sky. Then, for the first time in a long time, I laughed. I had finally escaped from the city! Where people would hunt me down, beat me up because I had powers, I was no longer unaccepted for being different. I was free!
