Chatterbox: Inkwell

Thoughts, story excerpts,

Thoughts, story excerpts, poems, art, photography, ideas, complaints and so many other things. They come to our minds daily, shining stars falling down from the vast skies of imagination. So, we create new threads to share them. However, while individual threads are good for sharing a story, or creating a contest it would be good to just place all these bits and pieces in one place. So, this thread is for you to share those random things that you've made or thought of. No rules or limitations for what you can put (other than the basic CB rules of course), just enjoy!

Sentance from a book I'm writing:

Joshua burst into tears, and Lulu ran in and started throwing crayons at everyone, including the salad.

That is excellent! What's the book called?

I'm thinking about calling it "The Silo on the Hill". It's about a girl whose dad was in the army but went missing in action, and she wants to try and find him.

Here's something from a story I'm writing:

----------------------------------------------------

Storm was dead. He was most definitly dead.

"I'm dead." He announced out loud, just to be sure. "I'm dead, and now I must be punished for-"

"You're alive you idiot." A sharp voice interupted, bringing him back to reality. Crystal sat in the shade of a nearby tree, her ice-blue hair perfectly combed by some miracle(as always).

"I'd rather be dead." Storm sighed.

----------------------------------------------------

Yeah...I'm going to have a lot of fun with these characters. What do you guys think?

The dialogue is hilarious. I’d love to read the whole thing and find out why Storm is most definitely dead and who Crystal is.

Lots of people ask: "what is the meaning of life?"

But have you ever thought: "what is the meaning of death?"

......??????

Dirm. georgia, what does that even mean? Dirt? <Who knows. I believe death is but a reason to live.>

From my book:

“ Do you ever eat anything other than sweets, Sam?” Odencil asks.

“ Nope. This is my diet, the sweets diet.”

“ How are you not fat.”

“ I have to stop these two from killing each other. That is my workout.”

“ That is a good workout, man.” Catrina comments.

Hey!” Fletcher and Sophia say in unison. Fletcher pushes back his chair, and walked away, thanking Catrina for the dinner.

Iz good? From chapter-o uno!

It's really good! Though I might add some lines letting the reader know who's talking. You write dialogue really well, Tyberious!

So...just a thought I had. So, lots of times people refer to a situation where two people like the same person as a "love triangle". But really, isn't that shape a right angle? A proper love triangle would be like this:

Person A likes Person B

Person B likes Person C

Person C likes Person A.

But...that wouldn't be good for anyone.

I think the same thing! I always think of a love triangle like you mentioned or when there are ships between all the people. The real way is more of a love... greater than sign???

That happened to me once in real life. Everyone ended up sad, friendships were ruined, and it was not fun. Ah, middle school.
