What super power

What super power

What super power do you want the most? Why?

This is a question I've been thinking about for a while now: do the superpowers we want represent things about us? And if so, what do they represent? Please give a short answer to this question with your own unique perspectives. I can't wait to hear/read what you all have to say! Admins, you're welcome to answer too!

I would love to be able to breathe underwater. I like the idea of adventuring somewhere that very few people have been--I've always wanted to swim around a shipwreck! --Admin

It'd be cool to shapeshift. Idk what that says about me, but I will say that it'd make cosplay a lot easier! XD

I'd want to be able to turn invisible. There are sometimes in class or just in school or on the bus or even at my house where I just want to disappear. Especially when the teacher calls on me in class since I don't like speaking very much.

Yes. Entirely the same, I'm not a big fan of people calling on me either, even if I'm prepaired. Although I only have to deal with school once a week.

FLYING

OK so you wanna know why I chose flying?????

It's a beautiful day; the air is cool, but the sun is shining and the pavement is warm. You begin to run, exhiliration rising in your lungs.  Your feet lift off the ground, and you begin to rise past the trees. You're filled with the shock of having nothing under your feet, like every time, and you wonder how you look, like every time, because even though you've done it a million times, you're still not used to it; but that is amazing. You look dizzily down at your feet and the pavement below, tree branches delicately nudging your waist. A bird flies past, and its beady black eyes sparkle at you, as if to say, "just do it. Just fly.

So you do. You lean forward, and at first you feel like you're going to fall, but you're careful and don't. You're breathing hard. You wiggle or crawl forward through the air; than something gets in the right place, and you're off. Over the swimming pool, over the baseball diamond, over the playground and the houses (including your own) you soar, creating your own wind. The sun feels heavenly on your back, and the fall air ruffles your sleeves as you dive down sharply to scare yourself, than fly up to the everlasting cerulean sky. This is glorious like it's never been before.

I think I'd like (however cliche) flight! Breathing underwater seems really cool (the Admins said it first, and better), but I think flight would be best for me personally as it's just convenient and I would be able to handle it better (I would be a horrible shapeshifter).

I've always wished I could shape-shift. Just turn into something or someone different in a blink. Although I like what I look like, I think it'd be so cool to look different for a while, to grow wings or try a new color of hair.

@Admin, have you ever gone SCUBA diving? It's just like breathing underwater! I did it once a long time ago, although I was congested and couldn't equalize the pressure in my ears, so I mostly had to stay around the surface. Even so, it was an incredible expirience and I want to do it again some day!

No. I've never gone scuba diving, but I do like swimming.

Shape shifting! OP, but you get all the powers. I'd be ok with just being able to turn into a bird.

I'd love to be able to turn invisible. It'd make pranking people a lot easier. Also Spider-man powers would be pretty epic.

Telekinesis always really spoke to me, perhaps because it would allow me to just sit there and be lazy. It's also super versatile: You can use it to fly, in theory, you can use it to breathe underwater, too, and if you were really good you might be able to mimic any superpower. Rearrange molecules and boom! you're a shapeshifter. Bend light and oh, you're invisible.

However, telekinesis can be rather OP when it doesn't have proper limits, so I think shapeshifting would be really awesome as well. For one, you can change your appearance (yes please), and it's rather versatile as well. If you wanna fly become a bird, if you wanna swim become a fish.

I've always dreamed about having the ability to stop time. Wandering around and looking at people going about their day while they are frozen would be fun, and this would be a especially cool power during a rainstorm. Another reason why I would love this power is because I would like to stop small accidents from happening, like people dropping their things or spilling stuff on themselves. It would kind of be like being a mini superhero.

okay, so typical power wise, I would also really like to be able to shape shift, cause if you ever worry about a physical aspect of yourself you can just, pretty much just 'poof' and you're good, also imagine all the houses you could go to multiple time on halloween when you can just change the way you look XD

UN-Typical, cause that's totally a word, I would go with the power to change probibility. "HMMM what's the probability of a sandwitch falling in my hand right now? only 0%? better change that to 100%" and you know, you could also use it for unsandwitch related things.

Normally I say either flight or teleportation, but upon a bit of thought I've chosen the ability to never get sick or injured or bitten by bugs. Not the most useful of superpowers, but would make my life much happier.

The ability to use any superpower after I encounter it, but only one at a time. ;)
