Unfair.. (A short excerpt from the life of a oldest child) (@admins, this might copy and paste weird)

I have long known that life as a oldest child is very unfair. I am the oldest child of four kids. I am starting 6th grade this year, my two brothers were starting 3rd grade and kindergarten, and my little sister was starting preschool.  I often wondered what it would be like to have a older brother or sister, but sometimes I was glad I was the oldest. For example, when I got to stay up late playing games. At at other times it is annoying because I am short, and my brother Luke was tall, so together we were the same size. So often, my little brother Luke, who was starting 3rd grade, would often get the same privileges as I did, so I never got to stay up late watching movies, because Mother claimed it was “unfair”, on vacation we both went to bed at the same time, we both got the same allowance, and the same amount of dessert after dinner. It is so unfair, and worst or all,  Mother didn’t even care.

I like the story, Isabel! It's so realistic and relatable - I can't wait to read more.

Wait...sorry, I just read it again. Is it a short story or a rant (which is fine either way xD)? I love your writing style anyway.
