Sanvri. It may

Chatterbox: Inkwell

Sanvri. It may

Sanvri. It may seem a strange world to you, with many known things being flipped upside down as it would seem. Nevertheless, you live here. Mayhaps you are a human, an elf, a dwarf, a gnome, perhaps a halfling, or one of the dragon-kin. No matter who you are, or where you have come from—you will shape the world.

So. Who are you? Are you an elf? The elves are a horse people, and can speak to their horses. The horses live as long as they do—about 300 years. High elves live in cities, raising powerful lines to be the horses of heroes; viri horses. Wood elves live in the wilds as nomads, raising the fleetest, most sturdy horses to walk this earth. However, some high elves speak of splitting: they want to live in mountain halls, as if they were dwarves. They want to breed what they call ‘draft’ horses and smaller, stronger horses. All grown (45 years or older) elves have their own horse, a true friend and partner to them. Chosen from their parents herd, this is how they will start their own line of horses. They tend to live in western wooded Dekita, Tamren, and Hanye.

You people of this "inkwell" could call this a 'solo write' crossed with a 'simulator'. I will tell you what happens to your people. At times, you will be required to answer a question in order for me to tell more. Otherwise, that person will be stuck in a time loop. And that’s not fair to them.

I will need the following information to be able to find this person you speak of to track them. Please give me as much information as possible. Some of your answers may end up needing to be adjusted in order to find the person, if you have been accidentally misinformed of a piece of culture, etc, etc.

What is their name?

Race?

Age?

Male or Female?

Where are they from?

Where do they live now?

Who were their parents? (Please, do not be afraid to tell me of half-race heritage.)

What did their parents do for a living?

What relatives of theirs are alive, and which are they in contact with?

What does this person do for a living? (If applicable.)

Do they enjoy their work?

What does this person look like?

Are they married?

Do they have children? (If applicable.)

What is the one thing they want most?

How would you describe their personality? (A trifling detail, if you do not answer, their personality may change and you may not recognize the person, even if I do.)

What skills do they have?

What do they think about magic?

Additional information would be appreciated, but I do not think necessary.

Once this message appears, I will give you the map of the world, so that you might have a better idea of where everything is located. Please, excuse me for giving almost too much detail. I will begin telling you of the history as soon as the first person fully appears. Additional people will be added until I say that’s enough. The tale, too, ends when it ends.

I agree heartily. But unfortunately, I would not be able to post until this story is finished, or until my identity has been guessed. I suppose I could speak of other worlds, but I would like to further speak about Sanvri. Also, my worldbuilding here is small, I'm sure that yours for Jith is much more impressive-I've done too much borrowing in this world.

Intriguing, I'll reserve and post my sheet as soon as I can, might be in a few hours, might be at the end of the day. Just whenever I have time.

*bows* It is good to have you, Darkking. It is interesting that you note that it is a lot like Dungeons & Dragons. I hope to see the person you have found soon.

Woah. Dude, whoever you are... that is some crazy world building. Completely awesome! May I reserve a character? Perhaps a dwarf... or human. Is it at all possible for me to reserve two spots?

*smiles slowly* Greetings, Tuxedo Kitten. I do believe you know me. Thank you for the compliment. It has been a labor of love. I would prefer you reserved only one spot, or indicated that one person was more important to you. Thank you for your time.

Okay, here's the rest.

Yes, it would make sense for her to live in Central Dekita.

Her father was a member of the Eagle Dominion, but a peasant.

What is the one thing they want most? The one thing she wants most is to be free of secrets. She has been burdened her whole life with keeping the secret of her father, as many elves condemn those who... ah... reproduce with humans.

How would you describe their personality? She is very kind and sympathetic, often putting other peoples' needs above her own. She likes to immerse herself in their problems and connect with them. If she lived in the world I (Kitten) live in, she would probably become a therapist. Despite this, she cares about herself little and refuses to acknowledge her own needs. She can sometimes be self-deprecating.

What skills do they have? As mentioned above, she is very sympathetic and can connect with others deeply. She values this ability in her horses, and they become very loyal and connect with their owners.

What do they think about magic? She is wary of magic, having not experienced much, but she tries to keep an open mind when encountering it.

Forgive me, Kitten. I forgot one of the most important parts for an elf--you stated that she was an adult (48), and thus she would have her own horse companion. What is the horse's name, what does s/he look like, and how old is /she? I have been able to find Pyferni, but am hesitent to record until I know about her horse. My deepest apologies.

Nyarai tilted her head to one side. "I think you may have broken your arm," she said, frowning. The sapphire dragon-kinu pulled down her mouth. "Then I cannot work in the mines! How am I going to feed my children then, eh?" Nyarai nodded. "Yes, I understand, Mudiwa. It is difficult when you have children and mining accidents happen, no?"

Mudiwa growled softly in agreement. "I told you, I have no money left, I cannot afford to pay you to treat me. My children will starve, I have none left. I just barely missed payday, so the overseers will not pay me for even four days." Mudiwa said, blinking back what looked like a tear. "What if I lent you money? Just enough to let you feed the children while you heal, and for the week after, so that you can pay me for treatment. You can save as you need to, in order to pay me back, I am not in a hurry for money." Nyarai said, feeling it was the least she could do to help.

"If you would be so kind!" Mudiwa cried, tears trickling down her scales. "Yes, I would be happy to help." Nyarai said, smiling. "Now then, I must treat you." Nyarai said. Mudiwa nodded, pulling her lips up as if to growl, but without a sound. "Hold still while I straighten it. If you do not, then it may set wrong, and you might not be able to work again." Nyarai warned. Mudiwa nodded, as the arm was straightened, faintly growling. "I know, it hurts." Nyarai agreed, binding a straight flat stick to it. Soon the bandage was wrapped around tightly, but comfortably. "It is good?" Nyarai asked, hoping that it would be.

"It is good." Mudiwa agreed. "I will bind it so that it comes around your neck and the arm is held across your body. This should prevent it from hurting more. Drink this herbal brew, and you will heal faster." Nyarai said. "Be careful to sleep on your back." She continued with a worried look at Mudiwa. "I will do all you say, Healer Olayinka."

As Mudiwa rose to leave with the money which Nyarai had lent, four little ones rose to greet her, calling out "Umama! Mother! She is alright!" They clustered around her, and Nyarai's heart swelled in her, happy to have done a good job.

A tall light green-turquoise dragon-kin, who Nyarai did not recognize came in through the door as Mudiwa left. He bowed, and smiled. "Nyarai. Greetings to you. May your craft continue." He appeared to be dressed well, and to be a likeable personage. Nyarai thought it odd that she did not know him, but he knew her name. She knew all in their village, but not in their region.

Can I still join? If not, than ignore this. Also, I apologize, my vision's a little weak, and I couldn't see the map very well.

Name?: Aileen (the surname was a bit vauge for peasents in Dekita)

Where are they from?: A tiny cottage in the countryside of Dekita

Where do they live now?: A larger cottage with her mother in a main city in Dekita

What did their parents do for a living?: Her mom grew up working in an orchard, then moved to the city when she was sixteen. She then worked as a baker, and met Aileen's father a year later, and had Aileen three years after that.
