Another RP... yeah.

Chatterbox: Inkwell

Another RP... yeah.

Another RP... yeah.

Okay, I know there are a lot of RPs out there right now, but hear me out.

A long time ago, Hospital RPs were kind of a big thing. St. Owl made one, Brookeria made one, Inktail made one, and others probably did too. I, looking through the depths of the Inkwell, found a few and thought that the concept was really interesting. Essentially, your character is someone who is in a hospital for an illness or injury, and ends up making friends with other people while there. I'm going to be sort of copying Inktail's character sheet for this (sorry), and just to make sure too many people don't confuse this thread, I'll say we can have twenty characters maximum. Each person can have up to two, male or female.

Ready?? Okay!

AAAAAAAA Dk pointed out the only trait I gave him was green eyes, he has dark brown hair and olive skin, and usually has a crutch since he has severe burns on one side of his body mostly covered in bandages over the burn scars. He has a white band, a yellow band and a pink band.

Name: Malak, but people call her Angel, because her name is arabic and hard to pronounce.

Age: 15

Appearance: Beautiful dark skin, and long dark black hair. She never brushes it tho, and its started to form dreadlocks. Looks tired all the time, has long scars down her face and sides that she doesn't talk about, and unhealed smaller wounds. Has a shaw, but never wears it anymore. Scabs are often picked off and bleeding. Has a very prominate arabic accent, and knows some english but is still learning.

Personality: reserved, distant. Can be determined, sarcastic, and stubborn and wants the best for everyone. Kind heart, kind smile, cares a lot for other people. Tries her hardest to be there for others, and push away her own problems. That's why she's still in the hospital, she refuses to get better. But somewhere deep inside she has a fire that wants her to get better, that wants her to help the refugees still trapped in war, that wants her to help others. That's why she's always there to listen to other people's problems.

Condition: Sever PTSD/trama, depression, generilized anxiety, psycosis, and doctors think she's developing bipolar dissorder. She has scars and deep wounds that haven't healed in her 3 years of being here, because she keeps picking them off and the doctors are worried they're going to have to restrain her.

Amount of time: 3 years

Friends: She's afraid of making friends, so none yet.

Crushes: not yet

Other: She's a Syrian Refugee, admited the one year the US allowed refugees in. Her family and friends all died, and she watched it happen. She was trying to recover and make a difference, but the nurses kept saying the wrong things and giving her updates on the genocide...none of which were good. So she gave up trying to heal.

Quick question, does each patient have a different color bracelet or do they mean something?

For the latter all i've been able to gather was that Red means allergy to a medication and yellow means at risk of falling, the rest vary.

I did look up the meanings of the wristbands I chose for my characters, and some have multiple meanings. Choose which you think applies best, or simply do a white one if you don't think any other risks apply to your character.

Purple: DNR
Blue: Limited DNR
Teal: ?
Green: Latex Allergy
Red: Allergy
Pink: Restricted Extremity
Orange: ?
Yellow: Fall risk
White: Parient Identification
That’s all I’ve been able to decode, is this right?

Orange can be used to identify a patient who is especially at-risk. Otherwise, yeah!!

The colors got too complicated so I just gave up

Name: Felix Keshlia

Age (between 9-16): 14

Appearance: Ash blonde hair that curls around his ears with an eternal bedhead, amber colored  eyes with permanent eyebags beneath, he’s sickly pale and slightly below average height. He wears a white shirt with black pants, sneakers, and a white wristband along with a red one(mildly allergic to peanuts and extremely allergic to beestings), he has a yellow wristband as well, though he has recovered enough to walk without assistance because there is still a risk.

Personality: He’s an overall friendly person, he’s just tired, tired of being stared and gawked at, tired of being put aside and coddled and seen as fragile. He stopped caring after the incident that put him in the hospital, which he doesn’t talk about, and become even more detached.

Condition: ADHD, Schizophrenia, Tourette’s Syndrome, PTSD

Amount of Time in Hospital (opt.): A while, he’s not sure since the doctors treat him like he’s made of glass

Friends: He doesn’t have many but if someone wants to be friends

Crushes: Yes if anyone could stand his weird habits and twitching
