Fantasy! This is a cool idea!

Fantasy it is! Now, I'm open to plot ideas. Submit a fantasy plot, and this Sunday I'll select one.

Cool! I vote... either fantasy or mystery, but there are a lot of votes for fantasy already, so just to even it out, let's say mystery.

This is a fantasy story idea I came up with a while back. Not sure if its any good, but I'll give it anyway:

Ages ago, the land was governed by the Light Spirits. Each spirit ruled over one race and its habitat. As time went on, people forgot about the Light Spirits. Their temples became ruins, their names legends. But the spirits themselves remained, watching over their respective races and keeping the world in balance. Until recently. A dark force came and began to corrupt the spirits. Ad the spirits became corrupted, the world was thrown out of balance. Plants and animals grew sick and died, sandstroms threatened to bury the desert, snowstorms buffeted the mountians, and monsters little more than myths appeared to terrify the world. However, the Light Spirits, before they were completely corrupted, sent out one final call to the few who could still hear them. Those who heard the spirits' call must try to find the Light Spirits in their long-forgotten temples and free them from corruption before the world is irrevocably damaged. And they must also find and destroy the dark power that was great enough to overwhelm the spirits...

Hm, for a fantasy plot, how about this? Which I mostly just came up with now on the spot, so probably not very good...

In this land, humans have magic, which they've relied on for survival for many years. Then, one day, magic dies suddenly (I know, I know, that's the plot of way too many books, but keep reading). Humanity is plunged into darkness and despair, and no one has enough food or supplies. Until one girl emerges who has magic. She says she is gifted by the gods, but in reality, she is one of the gods. See, there are five gods, who supply the magic, and they have grown upset at how much people rely on them. They take away magic to teach humanity a lesson and force them to relearn necessary skills. However, our protagonist is afraid that this will kill off the people, and she can't bear to see her people suffering. So she has to save them herself, teach them how to survive without magic, hide her true identity, and try to convince the other gods to give back magic.

Alright! Both of you have fantastic ideas, and this was a hard decision, but ultimately,

Kitten's story got chosen!

Now, Kitten's story requires a girl character...

But that's all we have!

I'm now accepting character submissions!

What I will probably do is take a bit of everyone's character and mash them together into The Ultimate Character.
