It's a Catastrophe! [In-story]

Following the events at the flea market, the false Power of Hoof was stolen by two theives and flown haflway across Kyngdom on a rickety thunderbird-drawn carriage. Just the two thieves (Davina Starr of Sanukaville and Kimi Flammori of the Decoy Forest) were about to get away, their carriage, having suffered multiple blows, decided to crash land right in the middle of Jokull...

...which, although was once home to Regina, a friendly reindeer, is now one of Catastrophe's bases.

The thieves were captured by Cendaren Caligo and his band of new Elite recruits (Deeja Sagestone, a Resistance spy; Tsuki Natsu, a Homo Aquarius; and Ashzan Moksovinan, a wood elf) and taken into Catastrophe's dungeons for interrogation, where they were imprisoned along with Skylar, another thief with a dark past.

Meanwhile, a scientist (Saorise, with Granite, her gargoyle) and her friend (Raven Shadows) arrived at Jokull. They were taken in with the hopes that Saoirse could 1) hijack the Decoy Forest's ability to produce hallucinations, and 2) find out more about the Power the thieves had stolen.

Tensions rise as the prisoners seek a way out of Jokull, new recruits are trained, and Catastrophe prepares to make his next move. The Sanukan army is closing in on Jokull, and a battle has begun.

Sideaffected Plot [In-story]

Jaaws and Whist have allied to take down the Powers using their newest creation--a Brazen Goo that affects the mind instead of the body.

Their next target is Sylvia, but with whispers of Powers all over Kyngdom, it's hard to know which rumor to trust. With a new party member that has seemingly appeared straight from Jaaws's past, the Sideaffected Powers split up. Half are on the way to Mer to follow the rumors there, and half are on the way to see the Power under guard at Jokull.

Who knows what forest Sylvia and her foal are really hiding in...although, it's not such a 'secret' anymore...
