Hey, where are

Hey, where are

Hey, where are all the solo writes? There used to be so many, and they're really great for people who don't have time to post regularly on RPs. Have we all forgotten about solo writes???

To tell the truth, I feel like a lot has been missing from the CB lately. Stuff just hasn't been happening. There's not a lot of energy around and I feel like a lot of people are inactive. I can't name a lot of specific things that aren't around right now, but it's just a general feeling and yeah, I guess there aren't a lot of solo writes around. The CB used to be a whole lot more energetic and exciting and creative, and it's not really very much right now. Just a thought.

Yeah, a lot of our old CBers have gone missing, and some of the more energetic and frequent CBers are MIA. *Flashbacks of friends like knives to the chest*

Please excuse me while I go sob in a corner with all the posts of the first hay wars... Agent Winter... Neko... Gracia... And now Luna-Starr is fading... *Throws arms around Luna* Don't leave me...!

And that's funny, because a lot of the people you might think of I might not even consider to be older CBers. Although I don't know, because you seem to have a lot of knowledge of oldies. So who knows.

I think we used to have fairly distinct generations of (pardon me while I use these terms) oldies, middlies, and newbies. But now it seems like a) weird because we've moved through generations and I'm sort of an oldie now and b) weird because it seems like we have very few people who are actually distinctly middle-ish CBers and very few people who are left who are older CBers. And the newer CBers don't even seem that awkward anymore, either people join the CB and post once or twice and then leave, or they join and just immediately absorb into the whole CB stuff. But yeah...that's my nostalgic thought of the day.

I agree, Leafy, but I thought that was how it was all the time. Heh, trust my luck to get me in here when it's apparently not so good.

Nope, there have been times before (not this year, even. But maybe last year a bit, or the year before, or before that) where I've been really anxious about being able to go on the CB, and I've wanted to check it as much as possible even if it's not possible, to make sure I'm not missing anything because there's been so much happening. Not even during wars. Just during normal CB life. Or like, during a time like that, if I was away for a week and didn't go on the CB, the next time I visited it would be so chock full of new stuff that I would have no idea what was happening at all or where older threads went.
