Cool! Well, first you need to think about what genre you want to write in. Some examples are science fiction, fantasy, realistic fiction, steampunk, historical fiction, dystopia, etc. Then you want to think about plot and characters. Sometimes I start by creating characters that fit the genre I’m writing in, then build a story around them. You can also create a basic plot first, then fit your characters into it. Characters are an extremely important part of writing fiction, and I love creating characters, so let me know if you want any tips there. Creating a plot depends on what genre you’re going for, of course, so you’re going to want to choose your genre first. You can have your book fit into multiple genres, but I would try and keep them cohesive (i.e. related to one another), unless you want a quirky or surreal story. Also, it helps a lot to write down a basic outline of your story. You want to figure out your major plot points, and decide when you’re going to end the story. You can leave an open ending, but I’d wrap up at least some of the plot before the book’s over.

Anyway, that kind of turned into a wall of text, so I’m going to stop now XD Let me know if you want any more advice!

ok! that is great advice A W . (agent winter) I might need more advice but right now I think thats great for starters. so, I think I will do a supspense but no killing and no violence. It wil have a maze in the book.I think the book  probaly be short, maybe 100 or less pages. (thats because I am a HORRIBLE writer, but I still like to do it.
