Cult of the Dragon Egg RP
You walk down the familiar, narrow tunnel, off for another day of work. the torches are spaced far apart, casting flickering shadows on the bare stone walls. You enter The Cove of the Dragon Egg, a rounded stone cave withought much in it which has become the place where you spend almost as much time in as your home. On the other side of the Cove There is a giant egg - the last in the world, and what it has become your duty to protect. The egg has a mainly chocolate brown, craggle surface, with lots of other flecks of color, and it has a pulsating green light. Bu something seems different today. The flecks of color, usually undertoned that you have to squint to see clearly are brighter, and so is the light coming off of it, and - wait. You gently touch the egg, knowing every crack and crevice after spending years around it. you hand travels doen and - there. At the base of the egg, a new crack has appeared. Than you remember. The prophecy that fortold that the egg would hatch a month from now! The cult will have finally succeded in protecting the egg, and your duties as a dragonwhisperer would soon get a lot more complicated.
The Cult of the Dragon Egg
You, and 11 other special people known as Dragonwhisperers have become The Protectors of the Egg, due to your unique ability to protect it. The egg that your cult is centered around is the last of its kind in the world - the last dragon, and not even a dragon just yet. A Dragonwhisperer is someone (a human) who can telepathically comunicate with dragons. they also have starnge, magical quirks (i.e. eyes that flash purple). Long ago a prophecy had predicted that, one day, after a great war, there would be no more dragons left in the world but one egg, and it fortold that it would hatch a month from now. There are also many other people in the cult, even if their duties are not very related to the egg. The cult's origins are shrouded in mystery, but the goal has always been clear: protect the egg, and the dragon.
The World
This takes place in a magical world with magical creatures (and non-magical ones). Humans do not have magic (although Dragonwhisperers are magical). About 50 years ago a war which had lasted for many years ended. All of the dragons dies and none of there eggs survived, but one. It is a mystery how such powerful creatures could be wiped out.

Okay, I forgot to post this there, but here is the Overseer of the Dragonwhisperers. He is one of the cult leaders.
Also, a note: please write in 3rd POV
Name: Gregory Kal
Age: 48
Gender: male
Personality: gruff, wise, straight to the point, likes being in charge
Looks: sharp blue eyes, thick beird, brown hair, light skin, muscular.
Strengths: good at taking charge, stealthy, good fighter, smart, determined
Weaknesses: Jumpy, bad at controlling temper, has trouble when things don't go his way, is a terrible cook XD
likes: being in charge, writing.
dislikes: not getting things his way/being outvoted, bad hair days
Dragonwhisperer quirk: N/A (he is the overseer of the Dragonwhisperers, not one of them)
Backstory: He wasn't born in the cult, but he had a freind who was, who made saw his determination and love of dragons and mad him swear to secrecy than had him join. He worked hus way up too power.

This intrigues me...
Name: Xavier
Age: TBD. Somewhere between 15-17?
Gender: Male
Personality: He's an optimistic person. Definitely an extrovert. Crazy amount of determination.
Looks: Dirty blonde/Light brown hair. Has periwinkle blue eyes. He's on the shorter side of average height, but still average height. White. He can eat a Thanksgiving meal everyday for a year, and not put on weight.
Strengths:
• He gives great pep talks.
• He's skilled with most weapons. (He was trained to fight since he was little, since Shadow Wolves terrorized his childhood home)
• He knows First Aid
• He knows how to survive in the wild.
• If anyone gives him an order, he'll follow through as best as he can.
Weaknesses:
• His constant optimism sort of distances him from reality. He believes he can fix everything if he tried.
• He doesn't know when to quit. He could be almost dead and keep going until he dies or gets seriously injured.
• If he's hurt, physically or emotionally, he won't tell anyone. He doesn't want to bother them.
Likes: Talking, animals, talking animals, talking to animals, practicing with his weapons, people, FOOD, and little kids.
Dislikes: The cold, staying still for more than 5 minutes, and clouds. Yep. You heard me. Clouds. For no apparent reason.
Dragonwhisperer quirk: TBD, I don't fully understand what they are. Please explain them.
Backstory/why your they are part of the group:
Xavier comes from a small villiage located in The Forest of Tears called Imeall Dragain.
When he was a newborn, his parents were killed by Shadow Wolves. He was taken in by the old hermit, but eventually, the hermit died.
On his deathbed, the hermit told Xavier about the place his brother ran off to years ago.
"He left years ago... I'm not sure how long he's been residing there... might not even be alive..." the hermit mumbled, "Listen Xavier... there's nothing for you... at the village... anymore..."
Xavier paled. "Yes, yes there is, I have to take care of you, when you get better, we can leave. Both of us. Maybe to Jorvik or Fort Pinta or-"
"Xavier... I'm not... making it out... of this bed..." the hermit said, voice barely a whisper, "Good... bye... son..."
And with those final words, he died.
Other: If you bring food with a five mile radius of him, he will find it. Sorry the backstory was so cheesy, I swear my writings not that bad XD

Cool! One thing: to be a Protector of the Egg, you must be at least 18 years old. Sorry that I forgot to write that! I will now. A Dragonwhisperer quirk is something strange that happens to you revealing that you are a Dragonkeeper. They generally have benign effects, i.e. eyes changing color when angry or a cloud randomly appearing arounf their head (you mentioned clouds . . .).

Okay, a couple new rules:
Don't start roleplaying until I ecxept your character.
Protectors of the Dragon Egg must be 18 or over.
Dragonkeeper quirks are benign, strange effects that aren't powers or anything, they just reveal that someone is different and can speak to dragons.
Humans may not have or use magical powers.

Could y'all PLEASE make less characters that are around 18? making 30 or 40 year old characters, or even older is fine. I'm just saying it would be a bit unrealistic.

Name: Bradley
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Personality: He REALLY LOVES dragons, and he can be tough, and he may act tough, but if you say something that has to do with his sister, Lizzy, he will get tears in his eyes and he's usually very talkative and will NOT STOP until you put your hand over his mouth.
Looks: Bradley has ice blue eyes with tan skin, and he has short, messy deep chocolate brown hair that looks like he JUST got out of bed. He always wears a grey t-shirt with one sleeve torn off, light blue acid washed denim jeans and black sneakers. In the place of the one sleeve that has been torn off, he found some armor and he painted it to look like dragon acales, and it goes to his wrist. He also has a pendant that looks like a small dragon egg.
Strengths: The pendant he wears has powers that if he speake a certain power (example, "Invisibility", "strength" and "speed"), it will affect him and others around him with that power.
Weaknesses: He has one: If he loses that dragon egg pendant, he will fight, but won't be able to use those three powers.
Likes: Summer, swimming, sleeping, snacking, bikin' on his mountain bike, and dragons.
Dislikes: Coldness, someone screaming for no appearant reason (don't worry, if that happens, he will just wince and look forward and kinda make a face that says "Why did you do that?".) and someone wanting to piggy-back on his back when he's not ready for that.
DragonWhisperer Trait: He will kinda grow short scales on him when he's happy. And it lasts while he's happy which is a LONG, LONG, LOOOOONG time.
Backstory: He was born in a small village, and his parents left him on his own when he was nine and his sister Lizzy was eight. She died when an attack hapopened on his village, so he joined this so he could be with other people.
Other: He also really likes mountain biking, so he'll bike EVERYWHERE or he'll also skaetboard when he's walking with other people.

I'm sorry, please choose another strength and weakness. That's not what I mean by strength and weaknesses - I mean things like skills - and a human wouldn't be able to use magic like that, so sorry, but you will have to make the pendant just a pendat and choose different strengths and weaknesses. besides that, you're good to go. Sorry. There aren't jeans or sneakers here, but you can wear the closest
thing to them XD. I'm not sure that their are bikes either . . . . maybe their can be a few, but their not common? I don't know.

Ohh, well, for his strengths he will put himself first in an uncertain stuation, and for his weaknesses he is REALLY sensitive to coldness, so he will literaly turn into a human ice cube, but he'll still be able to walk, just really, really slowly.
For his outfit, can he wear Lapus Lazuli colored shorts that have been acid washed? And for his shoes, can he just go barefoot?
Are there skateboards? Or at least something with wheels he can use???
And am I still in this since I messed up my charrie sheet?

Of COURSE you're still in this! I think that everyone except maybe, like, one person made a mistake on theirs. Those strengths and weaknesses are fine. maybe you should choose an additional weakness (and maybe strength too) for your character to make him more balanced and because I more meant things like having a bad temper or being very fogrtful, but that is fine. I was mostly joking for the outfit. I don't think it paticularly matters. You probably don't wear the exact same thing every day anyway. don't overtink it, you can have things similar to jeans and sneakers. Please don't go barefoot. and that is a no to the bike/skateboard, I'm really sorry, there just is no such thing in this world and he probably wouldn't have much time anyway. You may start roleplaying! (maybe choose another weakness in addition to hypothermia to make the personality balanced, but that is completely your choice). Thank you!

For Bradley's second strength, he can confort someone and he is a great friend to anyone who wants to be his friend, and his second weakness is that he is also sensitive to extreme heat, so if it's up to 99 degrees, he's fine, but if its 100 degrees or higher, he will fall on the ground and he will kinda mumble nonsence, until he has an ice pack put on him. Make that two. Or maybe three.

Name: Ekho Salier
Age: 20
Gender: Female
Personality: Quiet and slightly aloof. Independent. She's resourceful and very cunning, and can fight, but is more the person to (if possible) use her wits to get out of a situation instead of brute strength. Watchful, level-headed. Despite her aloofness, though, she does care about her friends and other members of the group.
Looks: Dark red hair, nearly purple (yes, I know this is not a realistic natural hair color but it's fantasy...), dark eyes, tanned skin. Tall. Usually wears hooded black cloak, a sleeveless dark purple top, and black leggings with knee-high boots. And she has twin knives that she stores in sheaths at the sides of a belt.
Strengths: She's cunning and resourceful, as I mentioned in Personality, and of course her futuresight is a strength (see Dragonwhisperer Quirk). She's also very good at reading people's expressions and emotions.
Weaknesses: Can be too proud to accept help from others. Claustrophobic. She doesn't have much leadership skills, and often relies on other people to do the motivational speech.
Likes: Dragons (duh), nighttime, the wilderness, members of the group
Dislikes: Small spaces (she's claustrophobic), public speaking, crowded areas
Dragonwhisperer quirk: She sees flashes of past and future events, and sometimes memories (basically, she's a seer). This often reveals to her people's true intentions and their pasts/futures. When she feels strong emotions (or just at random
times), mandala-like patterns (sort of like henna) spiral up her hands
and wrists. They often reflect the situation.
Backstory/why they are part of the group: Ekho was born to an upper-class family with high expectation for their daughter. She hated that life, so she ran away from home at the age of 10. She managed to survive, and was actually discovered by the Dragon Egg when she tried to steal from them. They took her in, and she's been there ever since.

Okay, cool! However, please choose a differnt Dragonwhisperer quirk. Their effects are usually pretty benign - wow, I like using that word. I mean, it can be something like sparks randomly flying from your skin but not burning you, which could be dangerous to the people around you, and things like that, but they are not powers, more like strange little quirks revealing that your not normal. I don't exactly get what you mean by "is their shipping". Your characters may fall in love with whoever they want to.
