Chatterbox: Inkwell

In the world of Tel’lien,(pronounced Te-lain) the world is separated into quadrants. In this story, we are in quadrant c.

When the world was crumbling and war-torn, an alliance of powerful and strong warriors created a safe place for everyone, but those people disagreed on how to run this place, so they separated into four groups. The most powerful and respected (or feared) people made sure to keep these people in line. They built a haven for the people where they could freely believe what they want and how they want to run things. If you didn’t someone didn’t like how they were living, they could go to the government and ask to see what the other quadrants were like. Life was good.

But then the government started...changing. And controlled the people, scared them into obeying. They started not caring, but if someone wanted to stop them, they could threaten-or kill-them. The people started fighting again, but tried to keep to to their own quadrants. And that led us to where we are.

In quadrant c, the world is separated into tiers. Tiers judged by character, appearances, and knowledge. Tier 1, tier 2, and tier 3.

All the kids go to school in tier 2. When the kids are 16, they are “tested”. Though, sometimes, the Council of quadrant c will make exceptions for brilliant (and brilliantly pretty) people that are younger. The kids are given situations through illusions that help the judges make their decisions. Then the judges make a decision and assign the kids their tier, job, and spouse. Then they go to the tier and home.

But little does the council know a rebellion is starting up, fueled by their anger and hatred for the government and the way their quadrant is run. Too bad they can’t get to the other quadrants, stop the council, or the government…or can they?

Hey everybody! This is an idea for a story I have, and was wondering if you guys like it! I was also wondering if you wanted to participate! I can do it as an rp, a solo write, or just do it about my charrie, Tayah. You can vote for which version you want. In 3-5 days (depending on how many people vote) I’ll count the votes and see which version I’ll do. Make sure you vote if you want to enter or see any of these! Thank you for reading this.

(P.s. sorry for the super long post, admins, thank you)

I am so sorry! I didn't mean to post this so late! This part's not my favorite, but i'm really excited to include the rebellion and get into the story a little more! But, here is this part! (also, Top!)

Part 13:

After the majority of the members had flooded out of the Rebellion base, Samie stopped me on the stairs and asked, "You're sure you want to join?"

"Yes!" I replied.

"You can't tell a soul unless you trust them. I know you can act, but if anyone says anything about it act surprised. This never even happened as far as their concerned. You got it?" She asked seriously

"Um...," I paused and I started to second guess myself, but I knew I wanted this, so I continued, "Yeah."

"Alright. I'll meet you at the same building we met at tonight every night and walk you to the base. When you know the path and the codes I won't have to meet you."

"So we meet every night?"

"Yes," Samie said seriously, and then her tone got happier and she squealed, "I can't believe you joined!"

"Yeah!" I squeled back.

We started walking up the stairs and then walking down the back wall.

Samie asked me at the corner, "Do you think you can make it back by yourself? The sun is starting to come and I need to make it back to my house."

"Yeah, I probably can," I said hesitantly.

Samie turned to the Tier 2 wall and started jogging silently into the darkness. I looked around and starting walking towards my house, checking around me and trying to stay mostly hidden. As I saw the sun peaking over the back, I started taking longer strides, which turned into sprinting. My hair was blowing behind me, my pajamas flailing.

I made it to the building where I met Samie and peeked around the corner. No one was near, but I could see the council members emerging from the end of the tier where the council buildings were. I started to sprint behind the buildings, trying to quiet my footsteps and still my breath. I eventually made it to me apartment and looked around the side of it. The council members were getting closer. I slipped around to the front and fiddled with the door. I could see some of the council members looking my direction, and I nervously slipped into the stairway. I closed the door and sighed with relief.

Then I heard a voice call from upstairs, "Where have you been?"

I looked up the stairway, took a deep breath and nervously started up the steps.

(TOP!) I didn't mean to post this so late! I'm so sorry! I'll really try to post more often! Thanks for being patient with me! <3

Part 14:

"What did you do? Why were you gone?" Mendax demanded after we sat down across from each other at the table.

"I was on a walk, Mendax." I replied, trying to sound convincing. I was an actor, but so was he. Maybe he would know.

"I missed you. You can't do that."

"Mendax, it's my life. You can't control me."

"Just-I...don't leave like again." He sighed

"Okay."

He walked around the table and kissed my head. He whispered to me, "Love you." He walked into our bedroom as I let out a sigh of relief. Then Collins-Daiyne informed me we had a photo-shoot. I stood up after a while of staring out the window to prepare.

~

I walked through the doorway of the studio and Mendax grabbed my hand. He lifted it and kissed it and asked, "are you ready?"

"Yes....I think." I replied, and he laughed.

I sighed. Was I ready? Was I okay with this?

Was all of this a mistake?

Hey everyone! I bet some of you have been waiting for a part, and I do apologize, but I probably won't be posting for a while. Lately, I haven't had much motivation to write al all. I've really been stuck in a writers block for a while now, and i'm sorry I haven't posted in a long time. Not only am I unmotivated, but i've been getting quite a lot of schoolwork, and my volleyball season is starting up. (:D honestly I'm so thankful for a volleyball season though, and we've already played-and won-a game, and have another game tommorow! sorry, I just wanted to talk about it a little! XD) So yeah, it's been quite a lot to balance, and I probably won't be posting parts so often for a while. I'll try on weekends and days I don't have much to do, but I probably won't get around to posting every week. I'm so sorry for how late i've been posting, and i'm soooooo very sorry that i won't be posting super often.

Again, sorry, and thanks for being here and understanding!

Xo,

Spellbound

No worries about the lack of motivation, I've been experiencing it lately too.  I look forward to reading on whenever you post a new part!  Congrats on winning a game!  I hope your next games go just as well or even better.  And good luck with all the schoolwork.  Keep at it, summer is not too far away!
