I just had an amazing idea- I’ve actually had it for a bit but I was kind of afraid that nobody would like it. But anyways, here is it.
What if I make something (with help, obviously) like Kyngdom? I understand if you don’t want me to becuase I’m so new, I just thought that it’s something I would enjoy doing with some help!
Now here’s a few problems, it would probably (unless the CB Team is interested in granting us a new category like Kyngdom does, although that could be tough) have to all be on Inkwell, but with a lot of pages like that we’d have to figure out how to keep it well organized, maybe make a table of contents, although then we’d have to rely on the Admins putting up with us asking for all of the edits, I’m not sure if they’d like that very much owo
Anyways, I’m probably thinking too far into this, I need to know if you guys and the Admins think it’s okay/it would be fun UwU I understand if you want somebody who’s been on the CB longer than me to do it.
What a great idea, Niteskiies! You are welcome to start a new
thread for your project. We think other CBers would be interested in joining
and helping to develop your idea as they have on other threads over the years.

If you click on the Inkwell section, then on the side of the screen there should be something that says Kyngdom. Yu can get a better explanation from there than I could ever give you dD

Sure this is nice and all, but don't you think you should wait for Kyngdom to end? Just saying.
Kyngdom may never end. We will be happy if it goes on forever. And Admins think it's fine to have another thread started. That's what Chatterbox is for! People are free to send comments to the old threads or any new ones or to all of them!

Hmm...this could be really awesome! As someone who was a part of Kyngdom in its heyday, I can't help but feel a little uncomfortable and...oh, what's the word? Old.
I'm excited to see the next generation of CBers start out on a project of this kind of size (and I'll take part, too!), though I'm not sure how something w/ multiple threads and a table of contents would hold up on the threads along w/ other RPs, Ski Lodges, solo writes, etc. Maybe just keep it down to two or three threads, or make an entire new section...
As excited as I am for this, I also don't want Kyngdom to be forgotten and rusting away in the corner. New CBers (or any CBers really), if you're out there, please try Kyngdom. It's super awesome and is definitely worth wading through the pages (and pages, and pages) of recap to get caught up on.
Niteskiies, any idea what you want the story to be? I have the premise for a sci-fi RP that I've been sitting on for a few months that I think could be really awesome...let me know what you think!

Admins, if this becomes a sort of a big thing, do you think that we could at least ask for a new category? I know that it’s probably a slim chance that it’ll be granted, but would it be worth it to ask? Of course Kyngdom will never be gone or replaced!!! It was a super awesome thing in it’s big arc, and I wish I were there for that uwu
I've already asked. We can't do it now, I'm sorry to say. You can always ask again sometime in the future.

If we do this, I vote for it being sci-fi. Since Kyngdom is more fantasy, having a sci-fi one would be a nice contrast. Unfortunately, I don't think I'd be able to participate much, but maybe I could have one or two characters that I posted every once in a while as.

This sounds like a great idea! I've been wanting to start posting on Kyngdom, but it's just so big and old and I didn't know how to start. It would be nice to have something else as well. But, like Sybill said, I do think it should be sci-fi or something else that is a contrast to Kyngdom. Having too things that are nearly identical would be a bit much.

I agree that sci-fi is a cool genre, and would be different from kyngdom, but I also have this idea which I think is pretty cool. What if we did mythology? Think a Percy Jackson sort of a thing, but specialized to fit chatterbox. The bugs could the gods, (for example, old cricket is the god of wisdom, and ladybug is the god of creativity)and we could develop a whole mythology of how chatterbox got started, and what goes on there. We can develop characters in the story, (in our case, to keep it chatterbox appropriate, and so that we wouldn't all be bugs, demigods would be CBers who have recieved a hug from one of the bugs, thus being bestowed with powers and being affiliated with that particular bug) and RP as those characters. Thus, not only would we be world building, but we would also be RPing! If you don't like this and we decide to go the sci-fi route, that would be cool to, and we could not just world build, we could universe build.
