Ok, so I had an idea for a Pilgrim/Mayflower RP, though it might be a little late to start....
If you're ok with starting during the Christmas season, then yay!
You are standing in the Town Square listening to the Prime Minister give an announcement.
"We are preparing a ship called The Mayflower to depart in September. It will head towards the New World. If you wish to board the ship, please fill out these forms that we are handing out." he said.
A man walks over to you and hands you a form that reads:

I have way too many commitments right now but this is such a good idea!
Name: Lydia Ginger
Age: 13 and 1/2
Appearance: 5'4" and verrrrryyy skinny and pale. She has stick-straight dirty blonde hair almost down to her belly button, which she wears in two braids almost all the time. She has freckles across her nose and cheeks. She looks very ordinary except for her one prominent feature, which are her crystal-y blue-green eyes.
Personality: she was once very nervous, but had to stand up for herself after her parents died. She isn't quite fearless yet, but she is a very hard worker and very smart. She is super caring and nice, but very protective of the things and people she loves (especially her little brother)
Luggage: A very small, beat up duffel bag containing: one extra dress, her only hat, a few extra ribbons for tying her braids, a leather bound notebook to record her adventures (even though her writing is very poor), and a locket with a picture of her family.
Background: Her mother and father were extremely kind people who were strong Catholics. They wanted to get away from the Church of England, but died tragically in a fire before they could figure out how. Lydia had to take care of herself and her brother using only the bit of money her parents had left them and money she made from doing washing and sewing. She hopes that the New World will give her a chance for the better life that her parents had wished for her and her brother.
Shipping: Probably not, but I mean if there is a perfect match out there then maybe.

Name: Oliver Ginger
Age: 4
Appearance: he looks very similar to Lydia with his messy dirty blonde hair that is never brushed, freckles across his face, and extreme skinniness. He also has the crystal-y eyes that Lydia has.
Personality: Very shy, clings to Lydia all the time and only really talks to her. He is super sweet though. He also loves food!
Luggage: A small bag containing an extra change of clothes, a hat, and a little rabbit stuffed animal that his sister sewed for him.
Background: He was only two and a half when his parents died, and his sister had been taking care of him ever since.

Name: Katherine "Kathy" Fairheart
Age (ages on the Mayflower ranged from 1-64): 14
Appearance: Curly light brown hair that goes to her shoulders, icy blue eyes, a little tall for her age at 5'5 and slighty above average weight.
Personality: As her icy blue eyes might hint at, she can be a little cold to strangers but once she warms up to people she is very nice. She will do anything to save her close friends.
Luggage: black and blue drawstring bag contains a change of clothes, a small brush, a diamond sapphire necklace her mother gave her. And a small copy of the Bible. And a shawl.
Backround (Optional): Kathy's mother stayed behind in England and her father came with her. She is an only child and loves adventure, which is hard to come by with her father near, yet she hopes to make friends and have fun on board. She misses her mother dearly but is excited for what the future holds. She is Catholic.
Shipping?: Sure! Boys around her age.

Name: John Fairheart
Age (ages on the Mayflower ranged from 1-64): 45
Appearance: Gruff, brown beard and mustache, icy blue eyes like his daughter, big strong hands and a simple ring on his ring finger.
Personality: Very business-like, also Catholic, likes to chat with other men.
Luggage: A coat, change of clothes, and some tobacco (I won't talk about him smoking, but he does)
Backround (Optional): Sister died long ago due to being very adventurous so he will not let his daughter Kathy mess around and have fun or fall in love, but she does anyway.
Shipping?: Nah, he's taken XD
Other: I'm not going to write in his POV, but he will be mentioned in Kathy's.

This might be a flop...I get it though, it is way too late for a Thanksgiving themed RP. If no one else joins before December 3rd then I think I'll just let it go.
