This is a place where people can talk about stuff they're working on and can ask questions about their projects, such as "What am I supposed to name this character?"

Or are like "Look what I wrote!" and they are just so proud of it, but don't feel like giving context.

Really I'm making this thread so I can ask about the appearance of a character and can't figure out how to copy and paste the images onto the NaNo classroom, but I have felt like there shuld be such a place as this...though as long as my question is answered I don't care whether it lives or dies...

Oh, Glass says naied. That sounds like naiad!

Ooh, this seems like a really cool thread! Maybe y'all could help me come up with cool designs for some of the main characters in my current novel, Journey Home.

Here is my question: which appearance is better for Isabel Rosa Autrey? She's ambiverted, loves spending time outside, is a tomboy and self-proclaimed food critic and behavior expert. She is really dedicated and thinks getting a good grade is important. She also holds grudges for a long time. Also has a twin brother Ira. She loves watching baseball with her dad.

I think this one is best for her, but I would love to see the other as Isabel's BFF. Maybe her friend could be named Raya, wich means friend. I would also like to say this is amazing work! You seem really cool!

Here's another way Isabel might look:

I like this one for the character that you described, I think, but they are both great.

@ Feline Fantasy, By designs do you mean appearances or something else? Because I would love to help you.

@ Velvet Serpent I agree with Alex, I like the first choice for Isabel's appearance.

So I'm writing a haunted-house thingie and the first time my main character, Tay, experiences haunty phenomenae, she says, "I'm sure it's just an old house! Old houses are really weird, aren't they?" I just think that's funny.

Yes, that's what I meant!

I am currently working on a novelette called Capital T. (Wow, Feli. Just when you are working on three big witing projects not for school you HAVE to start a fourth.)

I can't seem to drw one of the main characters for some reason! Maybe I will try a picrew for her.

I have a realistic fiction story idea with two characters who are complete opposites (one poor and popular, one rich and an outcast). A new girl to their school brings them together and helps them fix some of their faults. In turn, when the new girl needs it, the two friends offer help. Is this too much of a writing cliche or coincidence, and if so, are there any ways to make it more original? (the changes can be huge, I don't really care).
