Basic worldbuilding:
Featherwood Hall is a boarding high-school out in the middle of nowhere–it's a pretty good boarding school, and famous for its many mysteries, that some would even call ... magic. There's never been any confirmation to these tales, but there have been rumors–rumors of clocks that don't tick the same, and fountains of youth, and magical staircases.
And is it true?
Of course.
Your characters are brand new freshmen, and they've just moved to Featherwood Hall. On the first day, the mysterious librarian, Mr. Yin, asks them to retrieve a book he lost from somewhere in the school–and so, your characters set off on an adventure, full of magic and shenanigans, to retrieve Mr. Yin's book.

Uh, yea! The worldbuilding can literally be whatever you want it to be. Add a magical ghost who haunts an abandoned classroom? Yea! There's a minotaur living on the fourth floor? No problem! XD okay but you probably get the point–worldbuilding is generally up to you.

Name: Lucille Maple (I am terrible at coming up with names...)
Pronouns: She/her
Appearance: Light skin and freckles, average height, long red hair (like real red, not orange-red) that she wears either down or in a pony tail, blue-green eyes.
Personality: She's pretty quiet and shy, very smart, and loves to read. She's sweet, but awkward, and never knows what to say.
Powers: She can create fire from her fingetips but she hardly ever uses it, since she burned down her house when she was younger (luckily she and her family all got out okay).

Appearance: Two lilac buns, brown eyes, reasonably tan skin, light purple pleated skirt, leather jacket, light grey shirt with pale pink flower on front, high pale pink/lilac striped socks crumpled down to ankles, black lace ups/boots/high tops.
Personality: Positive and loves learning, very creative, confident.
Powers (optional, you can be totally normal): She doesn't know it yet, but invisiblility and telepathy.

Name: Michael, A.K.A Mike
Pronouns: Male, he/him/his
Appearance: He has a boy's version of the LEGO short glamour hairstyle, that's a deep, deep, deep, DEEP dark brown hair (Almost black. On a scale of ne to ten, 'bout a 9 1/2) with light tan skin, and brown eyes. He wears a dark red shirt with white buttons goin' down the middle, with a jeans jacket, with denim jeans, with cowboy boots. And he has a Texan accent. And he's CUUUUUUUUUUUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Personality: He's calm. Someone breaks a window, he's calm. Someone does somethin' wrong, he's calm. But he does get mad. It usually takes a LOT to make him mad, so when he does get mad he says "Ok, no more Mr. Nice Guy" VERY calmly.
Powers: He can run SUPER-FAST, and he's also athelitic. Like, VERY athelitic. He's also strong.
Other: He is a GREAT singer. A REALLY good one.

Name: Poppy Wellington
Pronouns: she/her
Appearance: Short and plump, rosy cheeks, dirty blonde hair in a bob with bangs and the tips dyed red, light skin, large brown eyes. Wears jean shorts, sneakers, tall brightly patterned socks, polo shirts, and sweaters. (Is there a school uniform?)
Personality: Curious, which sometimes gets her into trouble. A total bookworm. Friendly, but doesn't have any friends yet as she's new. Quick-witted and loyal. Doesn't always think before she acts. Ambiverted-she likes being around people but also enjoys being alone and reading or listening to jazz music.
Powers: None
Other: her parents are nice but work a lot, which is shy she's at boarding school. She has an orange cat named Persnickety, who is lazy but also likes killing small, helpless creatures.
:) I'll post a drawing of Poppy in a bit! By the way, did you have an idea of what time period this is set in?
