Hey, guys! I recently got into Keeper of the Lost Cities, and I've noticed that some of you like it too, so I thought I'd make an RP. I'll put the character sheet, then the rules, and a basic description of the series for anyone who doesn't know. I'm also going to create the first comment on this thread as a "General Comment", so that anyone who joins late can see the plot so far. Now, let's get started!

RULES
-Your character may bear similarities to a character in the book, but you can't RP as a character in the book.
-Your character can have more than one ability.
-You can have as many characters as you want, though try to keep it to 3.
-Try not to lead the plot like it is in the series!
-Characters from the books can exist, but just as side characters. Don't involve any book characters in major things.
Series Description (with as few spoilers as possible):
Keeper of the Lost Cities is a currently 8.5 book series (more coming soon).The series is about a girl named Sophie Foster who finds out she's an elf, though they're not what we usually picture them to be. They look like humans, only they dress differently. (Usually tunics and pants with capes and cloaks, though girls wear dresses when going about if they're in nobility) and they live in what are called the "Lost Cities", called this because they are lost to humans. For example, Atlantis is a Lost City. Anyway, Sophie we discover is the creation of a group called the Black Swan, whose total motives and reasoning are still unknown. Right now, the Council, a group of elvin leaders who are basically the government, want to find them because they are going against elvin law. (Like going into the "Forbbiden Cities" which is the human world.) Though no one knows exactly who is in the Black Swan, or basically anything about them. Sophie has multiple special and enhanced abilities (like she's a telepath with an inpentrable mind) because the Black Swan created her and tweaked her genes. She has information that she can't access stored away in her mind, and is only given clues here and there by the Black Swan to help both humans and elves.

Alright, here's my charrie (I made up some lore, I hope that's okay). There's only one major spoiler (for Book 6, Nightfall) in this, and it's in the backstory, so read at your own risk.
Name: Azadi Salis
Age: 13
Appearance: disturbingly bright cobalt eyes, light brown skin, thick black hair that's shoulder length and rather wispy and pretty curly. it's usually held in a half-up-half-down style with a black hairtie and an amber-and-gold jeweled butterly that annoyingly matches her foxfire uniform. average height and size. she prefers to wear silghtly muted but colorful clothing.
Ability(s): she hasn't manifested yet, but Pyrokinetic (the Keeper crew managed to get the ban lifted). she's also mildly pyrophobic.

Backstory (i'm aware this isn't on the sheet, i just wanted to add it XD): Her mother is a Charger and the identity of her father is unknown to her. (Her parents filed a match-fail when she was less than a year old and she hasn't seen her father since. It was a bit of a scandal.). Azadi is aroace and will not be shipped. Her best friend is a newly-manifested Technopath. (Someone can create the character or they'll be an NPC, I don't really care.) She's a secret poet and after manifesting, her hero is Marella Redek, her Pyrokinesis Mentor (I say this just because Marella is kind of the only sane Pyrokinetic left, right?), who as a teen helped overturn the ban on Pyrokinesis (I know this isn't canon but I kinda feel like Marella would. And it's one of the things Sophie and Co. and ).

Hello! So first off, I'm not sure if this was intentional, but elves can only have blue eyes, so unless Aurinda has a crazy backstory I don't know you might want to change her eyes. Second of all, fourteen year olds can be Level Threes, or Level Fours. Maybe you could make her a Level Three, though, because my charrie is a Level Three and I know that her best friend is a newly-manifested Technopath, so maybe Aurina and Azadi could be best friends? If you want to, of course :)

Let's see, so is the Neverseen still around? Or maybe there's a different bad group, or maybe the Council is getting corrupt? Ooh, or a threat to the Sanctuary, that would be fun. Or maybe something more connected to humans? Yeah, I think the Neverseen should either be history or have changed a lot, with different leaders and stuff. Oh! How about a group of humans, who maybe have some elves working with them or have really advanced technology and want the elves' power/technology/animals/everything (there's a lot to be jealous of :P) Or something involving the other species - trolls, or dwarves, maybe?
And then our characters could somehow find out about whatever the threat is, and the adults don't believe them, so they have to do it themselves? I guess they could join with the Black Swan, but it'd be cool if they started their own organisation...
Maybe I should make a charrie at Foxfire so they can talk more easily.
Ideas anyone?
