We had the weirdest idea.
This is sort of like a half-developed idea we came up with while Tsuki was learning about MLA format, because we thought why not.
This is a roleplay-type thing, but you don't make up characters. You go as yourself. CBers, AEs and CAPTCHAs welcome.
There is a town called.... Bobjoeville. In this town you are one of six things. If you are over sixteen you could be: Someone who works at Bob's Bakery (you could be the manager, the chef, or the waiter/waitress.) You could be someone who works for Joe's Shipping & Imported Goods (you could be the boss, the truck driver or the sailor.) You could work at Bobjoeville Academy (as the principal or a teacher.) You could be a farmer or a farmer's employee. You could be some other type of blue-collar worker. If you are over seven and under nineteen you could be a student at Bobjoeville Academy. You could also be unemployed, which has no age requirements.
Education is a bit of a foreign concept to Bobjoeville, so the Academy is new. All students, no matter the age, will be first years.
As well as being one of those six, you will be part of a cult. There are three to choose from:
The Cult of the Songbird
Principles the cult was based on: The idea of destiny, cosmos, and celestial beings
The cult worships: A diety known as Lustro, god of the cosmos, who controls the destiny of every living being; and five other minor gods; Ally, Soaring, Morrow, Eternal, and Copper; gods of the elements, the dead, light, time, and emotions. The Songbirders also believe every star is an ancestor.
Other: The cult members believe every living thing has some amount of free will, but needs guidance, and is set upon the path the leader makes for them, and the leader is guided by Lustro. The Songbirders will light holly as an offering to their ancestors.
Dragonfire Cult
Principles: The idea of free will, the elements, and hard work
Dieties: Aqi, Geo, Fer, Bri, and the Dragon Queen of water, earth, fire, air, and life
Other: Hatchings, as they are called, imagine all gods as dragons. They are taught the values of hard work, determination and athletic ability. It is said to be the greatest honor to find a dragon's egg, which, according to the religion hold a holy dragon.
Angelicity
Principles: The idea of good morals, proper obedience and magic
Dieties: Countless spirits and a few mortal heroes all connected through the cult leader, the connection between the spirit world and earth (Avater vibes, anyone?)
Other: The Angelic followers devote themselves to finding magic lost centuries ago and showing respect to the spirits who make life possible (and viewers like you. Thank you!)
You can choose your ranking in your cult. The choices are: Smalling (new member), ranker (member member, I guess) executive (high-ranking member) and leader (check to make sure leader hasn't been taken already, though. Leaders who haven't been taken will basically be NPCs.
Remember, the cults' gods and myths and stuff may or may not exist.
The cult leaders are super angry at one another for leading a different cult, so the basis of this is them fighting each other and members of one cult becoming friends with the other and drama and stuff.

Personality: I love, love, love to read, write and draw, and I love the way descriptive and fancy writing sounds and synonyms and language in general. Drawing is quite satisfying! I'm learning Japanese, and I hope to learn other languages after that. I'm a very empathetic and sensitive person (think not being able to step on ants.) I'm quite forgetful with the simple things (never remembers my mask, forgets to clean my room) and I love to socialize with other people, but I'm frightfully shy and my mouth stops working when meeting someone new. I'm still not sure this roleplay is the best idea ever, but. Provided we have at least two members of each cult, we can start roleplaying on November first, which will be September twenty-second in the roleplay.
