NaNoWriMo, or NaNo for even-shorter, is the shortened form of National Novel-Writing Month, as the Admin said. This takes place in November, and you can set a word count goal for yourself. It's traditonally 50,000, but you can do whatever you want. This past month I aimed for 20,000. 

Camp NaNoWriMo takes place in April and July. It has the same concept as NaNo, but instead of just working on a novel, you can work on whatever writing project you want. This can be several poems, short stories, essays, scripts, the list goes on. 

There's also a NaNoWriMo website (two actually - one for adults and the other is the Young Writers Program). There used to be a CB classroom but it was shut down because we don't have an adult moderator and the Admins can't monitor comments. :/ I'd share the link, but we can't link other websites on the CB. You can find it easily enough by searching, though.
