Voltage regretted her actions. Sure, she really had needed to get out of the forest, but to just leave like that? And when there were two cats trying to find the doctor? Tide had sounded especially panicked.

She tried to swallow her guilt and focus on flying. I’m almost out of that dreadful forest! I can do this! But somehow she couldn’t. There was something in the air that forbade her to run away. Was she feeling sorry for the cats? What was happening?

Her wings swerved out of control. Is this how Tide feels every time he flies? Completely helpless? She tried to adjust them but they wouldn’t work. Someone, either a Magic or a Cosmic cat–was using telekinesis to pull her out of the air. Her thoughts spiraled. Did whoever was now purposely trying to hurt her cause Ivy to leave earlier? Was there some evil force hidden away inside the forest?

As she hit the earth with a painful thud, causing a crackling sound, she let out a yelp. Whoever was controlling her had caused her to land on her wings. She tried to fly away, but with her torn wing, it was impossible. And it was too dark for her to attempt walking away.

So Voltage looked around her surroundings. It was pitch dark, as if she was underground, in a cave, or maybe even in a hollow tree. She reached out a paw to see if she could climb out of whatever prison she was in.

And then she heard a cat’s voice. “Stop struggling and be quiet or that Forest Cat will hear.”

Ivy was nearby.

She felt herself go limp almost instantly.

What do you want with me? What do I know that you don’t want me to share? She thought desperately.

The cat didn’t seem like they could read her thoughts. “If you move I will drop you again, this time from far higher so your bones will shatter into a million pieces.”

If I could move I could warn everyone of this strange cat, who drops other cats onto their wings and seems to have some evil plan. Even as she thought, she heard the cat slipping away, probably to hurt more cats. And here she was, controlled by telekinesis and hidden someplace so secret she doubted anyone would find it. For once, she wanted someone to see her.

I sense some danger. And also, the other people in this RP should probably put in a part or else I think that the danger will escalate without them because the people who have contributed so far are very active.

I opened my eyes with a groan ow. everything hurt.

the last thing I remembered was being suddenly thrown against a tree, and then darkness.

I sat up fast. "ow!" I said as my head hit a stone celing.

I felt around with my paws. I seemed to be in a prison cell, or at least surrounded by rock, with iron bars on one side. it was too dark to see anything anyway.

a small noise. I looked up, careful to not hit my head again.

a Cat stepped into view. they carried a lit torch, so I could partially see my surroundings. I was in a stone room- a cave, perhaps- and there were shelves all around the room, filled with gruesome things, skulls, vials of dark red liquid, or some kind of green stuff in a glass case. that was pretty much everything I could see, because the strange Cat purposefully held the torch so that I couldn't identify what kind of Cat they were.

they looked directly at me, glowing eyes seeming to stare into my soul. I shivered and pulled back.

"good night, little Kitten." they hissed. "soon you'll have company."

then, the torch went out, plunging the room in blackness like paper in ink.

but I did see one thing before everything was covered in darkness.

a glint of something gold around the Cat's neck.

something that seemed very, very imporant.

Tide felt a sigh well up in his chest. Brilliant. Flying. Again. This day just keeps getting better and better, he thought grimly. He lifted off from the ground in a quavering arc. He rose up to the two other cats. "F-follow me," Nightingale said, eyeing Tide nervously. She flew off towards the mountains. Tide and Kindle followed, Kindle flapping powerful wings in strong, sure strokes, Tide barely staying aloft and miraculously keeping up with the two others.
It took only an hour to reach the mountains. They really weren't very far from the forest. "Aren't docotors usually forest cats?" Kindle called over the wind. Strangely, there was rather a lot of wind rushing around them. Tide assumed it was from the flying. He hadn't expierenced quite so much wind the last few times he had flown. "This one isn't," Nightingale told them. They landed lightly in front of the mountains.
"Come on, I c-can show you the way," Nightingale told them. They followed Nightingale, padding along behind her. They walked for what felt like hours. It might have been. Tide wasn't really paying attention to the time. He was too busy thinking about Wave and Tempest. How long before it was too late for Wave? His footsteps quickened as he followed Nightingale. At last, they came to a smally wooden cabin nestled in the mountains. Snow surrounded it, like a blanket. There was a light in the window. "Here," Nightingale told them. "This is his house."
"Thank you!" Tide said fervently, and Nightingale tilted her head slightly, looking down at her paws shyly. Nightingale walked up to the door, lifted a paw and tapped. Silence. Then, "Come in!" The voice was gruff and uninterested. Kindle and Tide exchanged a glance. Nightingale shoved open the door and walked in.
Kindle and Tide followed. Inside, right across from the door was a glowing hearth. To the right was a table. To the left was a pile of cushions and a book case. Lying on the rug in front of the fire was a cat. He had scruffy white fur that had a gray tinge in places. His wings were a pale blue. The tufts of his ears were jet black. His eyes were the pale blue of his wings as he lifted his head to stare at them. His fur was very long and ragged looking. Also, he was big. No, not big. HUGE. He was, without question, the largest cat Tide had ever seen.
"What's all this then, Night?" he rumbled in a deep growly voice.
"My friends need a doctor, Fir," Nightingale explained.
"Do they?" Fir asked, surveying the two cats. "Well, come in and have some milk and we can sort things out from there."

I flung myself at the wooden dummy, quickly striking it with my paw, my flaming paw burning white hot. If you're wondering, the flames reflect my mood, right now, I am really mad. About what you may ask? Well, my sister. She get's me so mad, and the problem for today is! She won't let me train with her.. Not the worst thing in the world, but still infuryating. But she's only a month older than me, but still thinks she can boss me around..And I am not happy with her at all.

This was just the starting part of Tinder's story, would any one like to talk to her or maybe bump into her. Btw, I will put up her sister's form soon.

"Um, Fir?" Nightingale said, eyeing the other cats.

"Yes?"

"I told you to call me Nightingale. Or Gale." she turned to the other cats. "That's information for you, too."

Fir rolled his eyes slightly but got up and left the room. He came back with warm, shallow glasses of milk. Nightingale padded over to hers and began to lap.

"So, Gale, what brings these cats here?" Fir asked, gesturing to the cats beside her suspiciously.

Nightingale swallowed. Now might be a good time to ask the cats what they needed.

Just do it. You'll appear more brave than you are.

"Hey, um...Kindle? And Tide? Fir wants to know why you're here. I mean..." She trailed off. She wasn't good at this. She was definitely not good at keeping the wind away-

Tide's glass of milk tipped over.

No. Just go away. Just leave me alone, wind!

Sometimes she just hated her gift. It didn't help her. She always felt liek it wasn't right for her. It seemed like it was for a much braver cat than she was. Forget it.

What happened to friendship? What happened to hope? What happened to the wind being pushed away? I guess it didn't like that.

But now, across the table, over split milk, Tide was staring. Directly at her.

"S-stop it!" she cried. She couldn't help herself. Those eyes felt so controlling.

He didn't notice, he didn't notice, he didn't notice... She wished.

But he totally had. From that look in his eyes.

Great. Now she would have only one chance to make friends with Kindle. But that still didn't remove the look on Tide's face. She had lost his trust.

"I-I-um...didn't mean to. I'm sorry, Tide! My tail just slips out from under me! P-please forgive me. W-we can be friends. All of us."

This was exactly what she had been trying to avoid. Spilling anything. The wind had left her alone for a while, on the flight to Fir's, but now...

But Nightingale saw Kindle staring at her, too.

"Do you just have a really powerful tail or what?" Kindle said.

"Look, I'm sorry. You don't understand."

Oops. She'd gone too far. Now she would be spilling everything. Everything.

Kindle was very confused. Nightingale was acting weird. Somehow she had knocked over Tides' milk and she wasn’t even sitting next to him! “ I-I-um…didn’t mean to. I’m sorry Tide! My tail just slips out from under me. P-please forgive me! W-we can be friends. All of us.” It had somehow gotten very windy in the small cabin even though the door was shut tight and there was no way the icy breeze could get through its barrier. “Do you have a really powerful tail or what?” Kindle asked, trying to make sense of the mess in front of her. The wind got stronger, whirling around the small space, stinging Kindles eyes. She shut them tight against the wind. For a second it reminded her of the night her mother had died, trapped in the swirling sand and wind. “ Look, I’m sorry.” Nightingale said, raising her voice to be heard. “ You don’t understand.” Kindle was scared and she hated to be scared. Her milk dish tipped over in front of her, spilling the white liquid over her paws. “ Nightingale!” Fir called. “You have to stop!” Stop what? Kindle thought. What was the strange gray cat doing? She took a step closer to Tide. She decided he was the only cat in the room she trusted for the moment but the wind was making it hard to think. “ I-I can’t! I don’t know how to!” Cried Nightingale. That was the last thing Kindle heard before a strong gust of wind blew her into the wall and everything went black.

*************************************************************************************************

So Rora I was thinking maybe Nightingale could have something to do with the sandstorms in the desert? Like maybe she was controlling them but she didn't know? Also sorry this part is a bit epic...

Appearance: gray-brown fur with a touch of orange, dark green thin wings and tail, orange-brown eyes, small, messy brown mane

Abilites: agile

Personality: noble and kind, loyal to the end and would never, ever lie

Weaknesses: occasionaly a little too noble

Skills: negotiating

Quirks: makes hilarious faces when surprised

Brains or Brawn?: brains

*coughs* as I stumble out of a dusty closet, dusting cobwebs off a rich looking, silver pen with birds etched into it.

I'M BACK BABY!

~~~~~~~~~
Name: Tristitia (Tia to friends)
Cat Type: Prism
Gender: Female
Appearance: small, light delicate, with long whiskers. She's got an off white fur, hinting at shades of pink, blue, and purple. she's got one light pink eye and the other is light blue, an oddity. Her wings are light pink with blue spots on the outer edges of the wings.
Abilities: she can hear others thoughts and see cat's emotions through color, like a kitten can. She is also able to manipulate others emotions, turning them either positive or negative.
Personality: loud and happy, an extrovert. She's also a great comforter (on account of seeing others emotions) and is overall, a sweet little cinamin bun. (at least, on the outside) I would say she's a Chaotic Neutral
Weaknesses: manipulative, it's too easy to make cats feel sorry for her to get what she wants. Bratty, ignorant, and prideful
Skills: she's a surprisingly good fighter, she uses her appearance as a disguise, and takes pride in her fighting skills. She's an excelent liar and is a good sneaker. She is also an excellent singer and has a beautiful voice
Quirks: has synesthesia, sounds have colors to her. This is probably why she can still experience other's emotions as colors and she's learned to grab them and change them: by touching it and singing certain tunes, she can change the color of the auras to change their emotions. A lullaby song could be blue, the color of sadness, which would then move down onto the other cat making them feel sad.
Brains or Brawns?: Brains
Deepest Secret: before she knew what she could do, she broke her familie's emotions---they could no longer feel anything and died soon after. She still feels guilty about it, but the power that came from it was addicting, which is why she hasn't stopped.
Other: She was raised by the town and was spoiled rotten by them, who felt sorry for the poor little thing. She is also a famous singer among the Prism cats and travels from town to town to sing--for a price of course.
Before Tide could think what to do he was flung against the wall. It hurt a lot, but Tide managed to keep a hold of consiousness. He staggered to his feet. Kindle was slumped on the ground in front of him. "Kindle!" he gasped. A sick feeling twisted his stomach.
"Oh my goodness! I-I'm so sorry!" Nightingale apologized, moving closer. The wind intensified, whipping Tide's fur all over the place. Before he could think he leaped in front of Kindle and snarled, "Get back!" Nightingale leaped back, startled. Then tears filled her eyes. The wind just kept getting louder. Tide could barely stand on his paws anymore. "HOLD ON!!!" Fir bellowed. He snatched something off the top of the fireplace and threw it on top of Nightingale. It looked like silvery water of some kind. As soon as it splashed on Nightingale, the wind stopped. Tide slumped with relief then quickly turned to Kindle.
She had just begun to come round. Fir sighed. "Wh-what happened?" Kindle whispered. Her eyes were wide. "I think it's time we all got to know each other a little better," Fir sighed. "Are you hurt?" he asked Kindle. "I can stand," she told him. Fir nodded. "Good. Nightingale. Do you feel alright?" "A little tingly," Nightingale said in a quavering voice. "Right then. There are somethings that need explaining, clearly, so let's take this conversation someplace a little more... secure." Fir turned tail and headed through the door he had come through to get the milk.
Nightingale slowly plodded after him. Tide looked at Kindle. "Are you... alright?" he asked uncertainly. Kindle nodded. There was a moment of silence. "Well, let's... let's go then," Tide mumbled and he followed Fir through the door. After a moment, Kindle followed him.
....................................................
So, Rora, would it be ok with you if Fir was Nightingale's sort of guardian? Like, she never knew her parents and Fir had raised her? Maybe he could explain that Nightingale's powers had something to do with her being part ocean cat. Thoughts?
Yes, that is an amazing idea, ChangelingChild!! A great backstory, I was thinking maybe one of her parents was an ocean cat. And yes, LunaWolf, she could be controlling the desert winds without knowing it.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Nightingale watched, horrified, as Kindle slammed against the wall.

This is all my fault! I never should have even told them about a doctor, never should have thought about being friends with Kindle, never should have stepped out of my comfort zone!

"Oh my goodness! I-I'm so sorry!" she gasped, padding closer to Tide. Her gray fur was soft, only ruffled by the wind calmly. On the other hand, Tide's was a matted mess.

She was startled when she heard Tide snarl at her.

Both of them hate me now. They'll never be my friend. Or definitely on trust me again.

The tears came. She couldn't help it. But she hated to see the wind blowing every cat's fur around, while hers only waved slowly. Tide looked as if he was going to be blown off the ground any second. Poor cat. He couldn't even control his wings from being twisted around in odd ways.

"HOLD ON!" Fir bellowed. Nightingale saw him snag the little cup of Silverwind.

They can't know! Fir can't be doing this! I'll be found out-

It was too late. She felt the silvery substance on her fur as the wind stopped and knew it was over. Her secrets were over. No longer secret, that is. But Tide and Kindle still didn't know.

She saw Tide rush over to Kindle. "Wh-what happened?" she heard Kindle whisper. A shocked voice, she knew.

But the next part of the conversation was unexpected and made every inch of her fur stand up. Her ears pricked as Fir said, "I think it's time we all got to know each other better."

Her eyes widened in horror.

No! All my secrets, Fir! Don't you remember? Never to tell, never to hint.

But Fir remembered alright. "Nightingale, do you feel alright?"

She didn't know to answer. "A little tingly." she whispered.

But Fir went right on. Nightingale wondered if he actually ever cared about her secrets. "Right then. There are some things that need explaining, clearly, so let's take this conversation a little more...secure."

Then he turned around and headed back through the door.

Nightingale was paralyzed in that moment. She couldn't believe what he had just said. He couldn't be forcing her to reveal her secrets. But she wondered if Kindle and Tide had noticed those blue streaks on her. And they still didn't know she was a Magic-Winged Cat. That part hadn't been told yet. What would they say to her? "Well, I'm not going to be hanging around you anymore."

No, Kindle wouldn't say that. Or Tide. That was only what her old friend, Coral, had said. She was an Ocean-Winged Cat, and Nightingale had been friends with her. But Coral had never been kind to her, not once. Coral always took what was the best, and what Nightingale wanted. So she never really got any favorites she and Coral shared. Her friend always got it. But when she had led Coral into a cave by the beach, she had lost control of her powers. It hadn't really been her fault, now that she thought about it. Coral had never believed that she was able to control the wind, and decided the area was perfect for Nightingale to prove her wind powers. Of course, there hadn't been any Silverwind anywhere, but that idea was afterwards. She remembered Coral's sea-blue fur blowing around her face, just like Tide's had. She remembered a sharp shell blown into Coral's face. It had cut a deep gash, and the last time she saw Coral with her parents, she had a slash down her face. A scar, she knew. So Coral would never forget her. But she remembered those cold words when her friend flew away. They had been lost in Nightingale's ferocious wind. But Coral had told her she couldn't control the wind at all, and that her father was moving. Coral's family was moving. But after that, Fir had worked hard until the Silverwind was established. He had first made her drink it, but that hadn't worked. And plus it tasted so bitter. So they put it on her fur, and she became a jittery, shy cat.

But now she just stared. Milk dishes were tipped over everywhere, rolling around, clanking. "Well, let's...let's go then." she heard Tide mumble. She knew she really didn't want to follow them. Really, really didn't want to. She couldn't stand losing Kindle and Tide as a friend. But that would mean revealing every secret. Then Tide might want to be friends. Because of her ocean cat side. But no, she knew that idea was only a wish. But she knew, deep down, that she would tell. And she would tell two cats. And their names were Tide and Kindle.

Okay! So I finished my part, sorry I was a little inactive I guess? I hope it's not too long!

Voltage opened her eyes. There was no sunrise, or sunset, but somewhere during the long dark hours of the cave, she had fallen asleep. She started to stretch herself, but found that the cat who held her prisoner still was controlling her.

But looking on the bright side, that meant she couldn’t move, which meant she couldn’t accidentally bring the heavy drop the horrible cat had forewarned onto herself.

She glanced around and found that somebody had set a dim torch on the cave wall. There were bars on her prison, heavy, metal bars that–that–

There was a bang from behind the bars. “Ow.”

Ivy? Voltage thought with a sudden jolt. What is she doing here? Was she dropped as well?

But before she could say anything, the same cat who had imprisoned her snatched the torch from her prison and shone it in Ivy’s face. As they did so, Voltage caught a glimpse of the grinning skull of a cat nearby Ivy and quickly averted her eyes.

But right before the cat left, Voltage saw a copper necklace hanging around their neck, a single golden circle glowing strangely. As her captor turned, she easily unclipped the circle and saw a few lines on the back of it:

“Fates

Voltage is always HIGH.

Ivy is sometimes POISONED.

The tide is overcome by TSUNAMIS.

Kindling can be buried in SANDSTORMS.

Fir trees are BURNED.”

That is odd, she thought. Four names on the list matched the names of herself and some of the cats she had met that very day. Likely it was just the dark playing tricks on her eyes. She shrugged off the matter and tucked the circle and its strange words securely in her claw to read in more light, if she ever did see the light of day again. Although she probably would forget.

Suddenly she remembered that she wasn’t supposed to move or she would be dropped and her bones would break. When nothing happened she realized that the cat had not noticed her at all. In fact, she was willing to wager the cat had forgotten her and decided that she was secure enough behind the metal bars.
