Little Lost Library Solo Write
One of the first threads I ever created was called the Little Lost Library. It started out as a castle, where anyone who joined would come up with the next part of the story. Now I'm reviving it, and it's going to be a solo write.
Please join as yourself, not as a character. Anyone who joins with a character will not be included in the story, because I would like to keep the idea of the characters consistent. No AEs, please. To join, fill out this form below:

Part One
The CBers found themselves in the middle of foggy, lonely woods, with no clue how they got there. Hawkstar thought she might’ve remembered something… Maybe she fainted? She wasn’t sure. Nobody was.
“Um, hi,” said Lyric.
Darkling mumbled something in Russian. Hex waved.
“Where are we?” said Sterling.
“Well, that’s a less exciting reaction than I’d been hoping for,” came a voice behind them. Gallium jumped a little, and everyone turned.
Before them stood a girl. She couldn’t have been older than 10, and even then she would’ve been quite small for her age. She chewed on a cookie and offered a smile that looked charming from one angle and evil from another.
“Hello there!” She said. “Welcome to the Little Lost Library. I’m River. Would you like a cookie?”
The CBers glanced around at each other, until Poinsettia finally asked, “Where exactly is this library?”
River giggled. “Right here, silly,” she said. She trotted off into the fog and for a moment the CBers feared they’d lost her, but then she reappeared next to a tall tower of red bricks.
“Pretty cool, right?” River said. “Let’s go!”
She opened the doors and headed inside.
“Well, she was… Helpful,” Reuby said. It wasn’t quite clear if she was being sarcastic or not.
Darkling gave a mischievous grin. “Are we going inside or not?” They walked up to the tower, which had windows too high to see inside, a pointed gray roof, and wooden doors with gold handles. They held the door open, and each CBer wandered through after a moment of hesitation. Artemis, who was the last person through, went in at the same time as Darkling. Then the door slammed behind them, leaving them to discover exactly what they’d just gotten themselves into.
