The cassette tape arrives, oddly enough, in a pressed envelope emblazoned with a seal depicting a single hand holding a sword aloft. The recording begins with a click and scratch of static before a youthful voice speaks. "Ah, there we go!" they say. "This new technology is a bit confusing. Greetings, listener! You are probably wondering what exactly this is and why you have recieved it. All will be revealed in time, as is the nature of things. What you need to know now is that you have been invited to partake in a very special challenge - a competition of sorts. The winner will be awarded honor and riches beyond anything you have seen. It is up to you if participate, of course. If you choose to accept, simply return this - what are they called? - cassette to your mailbox. Further information will then be granted to you shortly. Rhiannon, how do I end this agai-" The voice is cut off by another click, and the recording ends.

Full Name: Eilis Cora

Pronouns: she/her
Appearance: tallish, long dark hair and green eyes. Usually wears jeans and random solid-colored t-shirts.
Detailed Personality: Doesn't really like people. She's smart, blending into the background only to jump out when you least expect it. She is also sneaky, determined, reserved, kind in ways you don't see, and braver than she thinks.
Likes: The color purple, swimming, graphic design, and reading books.
Dislikes: People who get her name wrong (it's Eilis Cora, not Cora Eilis), hot weather, climate change, and fish (both the taste of the dead and the sight of the live).
Skills/Hobbies: Swimming and brainteasers.
Family/Backstory: Her mum (her dad left when Eilis was really young), who works hard to support Eilis and therefore is someone whom Eilis will never want to let down. Eilis has no siblings but has a close relationship with her grandmother.
What makes them extraordinary?: She sees things that other people don't notice and also can breathe underwater for scarily long periods of time.
Anything else?: For shipping, with boys but not very much.

@Lady of the Loch - My character is supposed to be...kinda dumb...and is mostly comic relief, so I was wondering if xe can stay in the story for this purpose? Not to be rude! Sorry.

You're not rude, don't apologize! I just honestly don't know how I'd fit them into the story, given xe is pretty different from the rest of the characters. For example, what would be their motivation in competing to rule Camelot? If you have any suggestions, please let me know!

Detailed Personality:Quite calm, her voice is soft, small smile, she often blinks very slowly. Her demener is sweet, but she can talk fast and get agressive quickly when she wants too.
