I think that Maggie should be a suspect. Here is my character.

Name: Katie Corrinor

Age: How old are your characters? Mine was going to be 15.

Appearance: Tall, about 5'8", slim. Her weight would be about 105, I think. Dark brown hair and brown eyes, skin is tan.

About: Pensive. Friendly but not outgoing. Loves to wear bright pretty clothes but also loves to be outdoors. Loves to play tennis, cook, read, and wants to be an herbalist when she grows up.

I love your character!! She sounds very sweet! So, I think my character will be 14 or so. I think we should be in the same class. If that's ok...?

@ Elizabeth M: Thank you. Sure she can be in the same grade. I think it would be 9th grade.

So are we going to start?

I think we should. One more question: have we decided to do this llike an RR or an RP

I'll start! Just to be clear we have Katie, Emma, Annie, and Jess. And ya, we should all have the same class. And I guess we're sticking with the origonal plot?

Jess-

I walked down the hall toward history, my worst subject. Ya, I was top student in everything else, math, science, english, spanish, gym especialy. So why wasn't I good at history? Don't ask me. (I changed that a little bit.) When I walked in the door I sat down at a table with Emma and Katie. Annie walked in a couple secconds later. We all leaned in, heads close together. "So, are we still meeting at the closet tonight?" I asked. "11pm." Emma agreed. Kaite and Annie nodded. "Great." Just then Mr. Macapelo, our history teacher, came up and hit me on the back of the head with a rubber duck, no joke. "OW!" I shouted. The rest of the class looked up. "What was that for?" I asked. "No shouting, and if you have a secret, please share." He put his elbows on the table, and his head in his hands and waited. The whole class started to chant. "Secrets, secrets, are no fun, unless you share with everyone!" Katie Emma and Annie stared at me like, do something! So I calmly turned to Mr. Macapelo and said, "Clark likes Emma." I'm pritty sure Emma would have slapped me for that lie if there hadn't been a teacher around. Emma happened to like Clark. He was tall, cute, and great at sports. "No I don't!" He shouted from a table in the back. "You guys wanted to know." I turned back to my table. While I wasn't looking Mr. Macapelo slapped me again with the stupid duck. "What was that for?" I asked. "No disclosure of personal information of annother student." He said calmly. "But you're the one who wanted to know!" I shouted. "Yes, and I was indeed hoping that you'd say something like that so I could have authorisation to hit you gain Rider. (I just made up her name. Jess Rider.)" We glared until Emma brought me back by slapping me in the face. "Now what was that for?" I asked. "Telling everyone that Clark liked me." She snapped. "Well, would you rather I told them what it really was?" I asked. She shook her head, "No." "Well then you see what I did there?!" I asked rubbing my cheek. "Ya, I guess. But why Clark?" She was whiny. "Would you rather it have been Micheal?" I asked. No one liked Micheal, he was short, fat, ugly and mean. "No." She sighed. "Not at all." "Then I guess you should be thanking me. I put my feet up. "Feet off the table Rider." Mr. Marcapelo said from behind his desk. Emma slapped me again. "No, I shouldn't."

Annie

I looked down the hard wood table. Jess was bickering with Emma about what she’d done. Emma was fire engine red. They stopped talking when the teacher came up swinging his rubber duck around.

“Now, peace and quiet! Let’s start. So, who were Elias and Odysseus? Anyone?” He squinted round the classroom. Then he turned around and started to make a diagram on the board.

I ripped a small piece of paper out of my notebook and wrote.

Jess-Talk at lunch?

I slid the paper down the table silently. Jess grabbed it and read. She grabbed her blue pen and scribbled something on it.

Sure, tell Katie!

I nodded and pushed the piece of paper under my notebook as the teacher turned around.

Swinging his rubber duck, he stared at me. “Well, Miss Robinson. Since you’re so interested, how about you answer this question: Who were Elias and Odysseus?”

He thought that he’d get me. But what he didn’t know was that I had read the whole history book already.

“Elias is about how the Gods helped the Greeks win the war against the Trojans, and Odysseus is about Odysseus’ travels in the ocean. Both were written by Homer, a singer and poet who lived around 8 BC.” I finished and smiled.

“Well, you… Yes, that’s right.” He turned back to the board.

I ripped another page out of my notebook.

Katie-Lunch, talk with Jess and Emma!

I slid it over to her. She took it and read it. “Great,” she whispered.

A little while later the bell rang and all of us jumped up before the teacher could give us homework.

I meant to post this earlier. A little extra info about Annie.

Her mother and father left because her mother was very sick. They didn’t let her come with them so that makes her feel very resented. She tries to hide her feelings most of the time but sometimes she can’t help it and breaks down (her friends understand that though and try to help her out). She’s extremely good in school. Her only weakness is biology. Not that she isn’t good at it; she just can’t stand blood, dissecting stuff, etc. Annie rides her white and navy blue bike to school every day. She likes vintage stuff. For example: clothes, furniture, and knick-knacks like that. She also has an eye for stuff and always has an idea. She’s quiet but very outgoing and daring if she wants to be. Her friends are very dear to her, so she keeps all of them very close.

Jess-

I rushed out of the classroom. We ran to lunch before Mr. Macapelo could give us homework. We took the short way to lunch. Annie and Katie sat down at our table with their lunch bags while Emma and I walked into the lunch line. I ordered an Italian sub and a bottle of water while Emma got salad and a Snapple. We sat down at the table and I looked at Annie. "Okay, so, what did you want to talk about?" I asked.

Sorry it was so short, I'm having a major case of writer's block, along with a cold. :( But I do get to miss school on Monday! YAY!

Annie

I looked at my waiting friends.

“Well,I wanted to save this for the meeting tonight but I can’t help it.” I opened mybackpack and pulled out a green folder.

“Here.”I took out a piece of paper with writing on it and set it on the round table.

“What’sthis supposed to be?” Emma asked.

“Read.”I demanded.

The table was quiet as the three skimmed through the document.

“You’ve got to be kidding! Is that why Mr. Knothole disappeared a month ago?! I thoughthe was fired!” Katie exclaimed loudly. “Psst!”

“Wheredid you get this?” Jess asked. “I help with the mail so metimes, remember? Icouldn’t help taking a folder that said top secret on it.”

The others laughed. “Wow, a real murder. We have to talk about this in the closet, butnot here. Put it away Annie!”

Emma slid the paper over to me and I slid it into my bag. Lunch continued as usual.

Jess-

I couldn't help but think about Annie's paper. As I finished my lunch the bell rang. Signaling that lunch was over and gym was about to start. For me anyway. I walked out of the lunch room alone. I walked into the locker rooms, and, sparing you the details, got dressed. When I walked out I saw hockey nets, and sticks, and pucks. "Yes! Hockey!" My favorite. Annie walked up next to me. I was wearing black shorts and a blue and orange t-shirt that said 'death by the dolphin'. On it was a picture of my favorite foot-ball team's mascot, a dolphin  about to knock a guy out with a foot-ball. First we stretched and exercised, then the real fun began. Emma and I were on a team with Lizzy, a girl with too much acne, Jackson, a guy with no athletic ability whatsoever, and Clark. Which drew Emma up the wall because she was on the opposite team with Micheal, Amy, and Matt Boyd. He was a really cute boy with green eyes and dirty blonde hair. He had numerous scars from sports on his legs and one on his face next to his right eye, which I thought was super cute. He was a better athlete than anyone, except me. I also liked him. Everyone always watches us in sports, even teachers, because they can never tell who'll win. Clark and Matt did the face-off. Matt won. He raced toward our goal with the puck. I rushed up from behind him and snatched the puck away. He raced after me. I was speeding toward his goal. I hit the puck with all my might and it went in. The game was to 15. I'd just scored a point. The game went on like this for a while, sometimes he scored, sometimes I did. Sometimes other people did. It was when the game was 14-14 that things got bad. Amy had won the face-off, and now Matt was running to get the puck which had been knocked out of Amy's way. I raced next to him, keeping my eyes on the puck, not my feet. When Matt thought he'd got it he stuck out his stick, and it tripped me. I fell and scraped both my nees. "OW!" I yelled. "Are you okay?" he asked worry in his voice. "Ya I'm-" I looked at my knees. They were scraped and bleeding badly. Both of them. "Not fine!" I gasped. Annie and Emma rushed over. "What the? Matt!" Emma yelled, punching him. "Ow!" He glared at her. Ya, Emma and Matt don't get along too well. But Emma and Clark do, so sue me! "Well it was you who knocked her down!" Emma snapped. "Boyd, take Rider to the nurse," the gym teacher, Mr. Martinez growled. He wasn't being mean, he just naturally sounded that way. "Right sir." Matt helped me up and Emma and Annie gave me knowing looks, I just glared. He helped me walk down to the nurse, where she put some anti-infection stuff on me, then put on huge band-aids and said I was free to go. But that I couldn't play hockey for at least 3 days. I glared at Matt. He looked really sorry. He helped me back to the gym where I was aloud to change back into my regular cloths, and sit on the bleachers, getting full credit for that day, and the next 3.

Jess is NAME's character... Or is she letting you use her?

Annie

I saw Jess walk back into the hall and sit down in the bleachers. She looked upset. Both her knees had bandages on them.

Emma was still playing so I ran up to sit next to Jess. It was my free period, as usual. I always came to watch Emma and Jess play.

“Everything OK?” I asked. Jess scowled. “No, now I don’t get to play for 3 days. Hmpf. This is all Matt’s fault!” She crossed her arms and scowled more. “Well, you can get back at him for that. Oh wait! I forgot: you’re head over heels in love with him.”

Jess pushed me over playfully. “Haha! At least we’ll still have our meeting tonight. You guys are certainly still coming, right?”

“Sure!“ I nodded. “Why not?!” Emma, Jess, Katie and I had been meeting at the same place forever. It had started out with just Emma and I but now Jess and Katie were also there.

We talked about everything in the closet. That is where we always met. A while ago we found out that Emma’s closet had a secret door in it. It’s so to say our club house. When ever her parents come in. She can sneek out and go to bed.

Jess smiled. “Good. I’m glad. I can’t wait to learn more about the file you took.” I put my finger in front of my mouth in a “Shh.” Motion.

The bell rang, time for music. I walked down the bleachers with Jess and waited forEmma.

After a while she came out. “See you near the bike stand.” I declared and walked off to meet Katie.

No, sorry it was me. But I was at ~Sam~'s house when I posted it, and for some reason she set it up for me, and by accident put her name instead of mine. I'll have to tell her later I guess. But now I'm back to my good-old laptop. Hoping it won't crash on me! ;)

Jess-

I walked into art, which I had next instead of music. "Oh my!" The teacher gasped when she saw my knees. "What happened?!" she asked in a really high-pitched voice. "Hockey accident," I muttered. She slapped me. "Why is everyone slapping me today?!" I shouted. "A nice girl like you should not be playing such a dangerous sport! Look what happened! Who did this to you?" Her high-pitched voice was turning into a screech as she got angrier. Katie, who sat across from me gave me a DON'T TELL HER! look. "Umm, Matt Boyd," I muttered. Her expression was: he's getting detention. I groaned. I had to apologise to him right away. It didn't feel right doing that. I did like him though. "Sit." Her tone was sharp. I sat down right next to Clark, Katie across from me. "Great, now I got him in trouble," I muttered. "Well, he did trip you," Clark reasoned. "Ya, and that is foul play. Especially to a girl; he could have seriously hurt you." Katie tried. "Ya, but he didn't do it on purpose! It was an accident!" I put my face in my hands. Our art was passed out. It was supposed to be free draw. I drew a husky. Katie and Clark both said it was awsome. But I wasn't sure. It was good enough, I guess. Art was long and boring.  Only in the middle did things get interesting. I was washing charcoal off my hands when I noticed something. There was a red stain on the sinks. I smelled it. It had the salty tang of blood. I gasped. I quickly finished and walked back to Katie. "I found blood," I whispered. "What?" "There is blood on the sinks. Go look!" She walked over to the sinks. While pretending to wash her hands she smelt the red stain. She walked over to me. "We'll tell them tonight in the closet." I nodded. "Got it."

Admins, what do you think of this thread so far?

What I've read is quite intriguing. I want to know what comes next. Where did the blood come from? FYI, I usually only see the individual comments/parts as they come in to be posted during the hours of the day that I'm administering the site. Some of the parts may have been posted by other Admins. I'd have to go on the hunt to find the thread and read the whole thing . . . which a may do.

Sorry I haven't posted.

//Katie//

I had just got out of geometry class and was going to meet Annie for music. This wasn't my favorite class me being so atrocious at it.

I found her and asked," Who won?" "Jess scraped her knees badly so she didn't get to finish. They still won though."

Annie and I walked to our class. I got through it finally a lot better than I usaully did. Music was the last class of the day so we walked to the bike racks chattering away about our different classes. Emma, Jess, Annie, and I all rode home together because we lived so near to each other. When we reached the bike racks we mounted our bikes.

Hers was blue and white, mine was purple with white stripes. The Jess and Emma were already there waiting for us.

I loved riding a bike, especially without a helmet. The cool wind in my face. The wonderful feel of pushing the pedals, making the wheels fly over the asphalt. I reached my house first. I waved as they passed.

I entered my house, the delicious smells of dinner already wafting from the kitchen. I heard my mother and went into the kitchen. On the table she had as usual cookies and milk. This time they were peanut butter. I thanked her and ran upstairs to do my homework.

There wasn't much, just a chapter to read in history and some geometry problems. I finished them quickly and ran back downstairs to help my mother with dinner. My older brother was in his room, I assumed, doing his homework. I helped make some biscuits and salad. My dad came home from work and when dinner was ready we all sat down and ate. All the while I was thinking about the folder Annie had shown us.

After dinner I went up to my room and read till bedtime which was 10:30. I pretended to get ready for bed and after I went through the motions I got into bed. I waited for what seemed an eternity and when I saw it was ten till I got up, put my shoes on, grabbed some cookies from the kitchen and slipped quietly outside.

I guess then it's Jess and Emma who have art together.

Jess-

I quietly opened, and closed the front door. Katie always left it open for us. I walked through the kitchen hoping to find chocolate chip cookies, but was disapointed when I found peanut. I wasn't a big fan of peanut. I walked up the stairs, and into Katie's room. She was in her bed reading. "Hey Katie," I quietly closed the door to her room. "Are the others here yet?" I asked. "Ya, Annie and Emma got here just secconds ago. Come on." Emma and Annie came out from under the bed which was where they hid incase Katie's mom or dad came in. We walked into the closset. "Okay Annie, what's with that folder?" I asked. "Wait, before we start. Jess and I found blood in the art room. Well, really Jess found it but she showed me. It's definately blood." Emma said. I nodded. "Ya." "The art room?" Annie seamed mistified. Okay, here's what's in the file. She pulled out a couple of papers. I just had time to notice the TOP SECRET lable on the front cover.
