Yeah, there should be like parties and end of semester balls and stuff. That sounds fun.

//Callen//

I sighed and kicked a rock with my shoe. Aika, Karanah and Eli were still just standing there like idiots and Jacob and Banier already left, so it was just us and Rome. "You guys won't tell anyone, right? Some people hate faries, and would do anything to kill us. Please, don't tell anyone." Eli nodded, but they were still speechless. I sighed again and started walking back to our dorm. As I exited the stable, a poster flew into my face. Best day ever, right? Anywhoo, I grabbed the poster from my face and glanced at it. It was one for that stupid Back to School Dance, or something. We had one every year, and now that this was our last year, all the third years had to go. It all sounded reeealy boring, but I still kinda wanted to go. You know, just to see if anyone would ask me. Just, just for that. But, I mean, it's not like I like anyone! No. No one. Nope. Nada. Noooobody. . .

Yeah that's a good idea. I think that there should also be a winter dance and a spring dance. Do you think they should have Easter and Christmas because to me it woudn't really make sense. And what is supposed to happen during Gym if all the sports and things are after school? Another thing, is there going to be a town or something nearby that the second and third years are allowed to go to?

I will post as soon as I can.

Hmm... Yes, there can be a town but it's kind of far so it's always special when they go there... Hmm... I was thinking tennis, badminton, soccer, handball... I hope your cold gets better, Elizabeth!

I had an idea of something that could happen but it's still in process...

Alamea—

I walked upstairs alone while trying to figure the fairy thing out. I noticed Callen sitting on a small bench with some flyer in her hand. I sat down next to her.

“Callen?”I asked hesitantly.

“What?”

“I know that you’re a fairy and umm… I just wanted to tell you that it doesn’t matter.”

Callen looked at me as if she couldn’t believe what I’d just said.

“It doesn’t matter?!”

“Yeah, you’re still the same person… I think.”

She smiled at me. “You know that’s really nice of you.”

I then changed the subject: “What’s the flyer for?”

“Back to school dance.” Callen handed the flyer to me. I remembered this from last year. No one had asked me, actually. Oh well maybe this year would be different.

“We're going to MagmaDah on Friday! We can get dresses there!” I told Callen.

“Yeah…” She seemed like she wanted to be alone so I got up and made my way to the dorm.

Thank you. If you don't mind, I am going to go to the next day. I can't remember: have they been at the school two or three days? Well I am just going to assume that it's time to start the classes.

//Lily//

I got up at 6:00 the next morning wanting to get an early start. Yesterday had been a little crazy. Kateira and Eli had told us about Jacob and Callen being fairies and I found it rather interesting, but decided that asking Callen any questions would upset her more. I had instead focused on the back-to-school dance. I had already had two boys ask, but had turned both down. I was extremely excited about it. I absolutely adored dances. Well, I guess I better get up, I thought. After all it's the first day of classes. I swung my legs over the side of the bed and jumped down. I went over to my bag and took out my schedule I looked for Monday. Aha, found it, I thought.

6:00-8:30 Rise, wash up, breakfast
8:40-10:00 Algebra
10:10-11:30 History
11:40-12:40 Gym
12:50-1:50 Responsibility
2:00-3:00 Ballet
3:10-4:10 Tea/Lunch

4:20-5:20

5:20-7:30

7:30-9:00

Ballet

Free time

Dinner

I went over to the closet and pulled out my uniform. I went to the bathroom and changed, then I brushed my teeth and rebraided my hair.

I went back to the room and found that nobody else was up yet. I grabbed my bag with all my books inside and went down to breakfast. It was now 6:24 and the cafeteria wouldn't be open till 6:30. I waited outside the doors and I saw Lila walking toward the me. I had known her since my first year.

I would write more, but I have to go somewhere.

I rolled over in my bed and fell down, again, on our wooden floor. "I need a fence or something..." I muttered, checking that I hadn't woken any one up. No one. I tip toed towards the large desk that everyone shared and looked at the cork board with a copy of our schedules. Let's see, breakfast, math, lit., lunch, responsibility (skipping, Rome was seeing a vet for his miraculous recovery), gym, and Celtic. Okay. I thought, reaching in for my coffee brown skirt, marron tie, and white shirt. I crept out the door with my book bag for the bath room to change. Then, I went to the cafeteria for my first day at GenkuSuh.

Phew! I'm getting this in before I have to go get ready for school. Hopefully no one posted before me so we can keep this in chronological order...

//Eli//

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock going off. I reached over, turned it off, and jumped out of bed. Karanah was the only one up. She was pulling out her uniform from the closet.

"Pretty loud alarm you've got there," Karanah smiled. I glanced over at the other girls in the room. Callen and Aika sat up sleepily and glared at me.

"Oops. Sorry guys! I guess I'd better tone that down a bit…" I said. I looked over at Artemis, the newest girl in our room. She was sound asleep.

"Should we wake her up?" Aika giggled.

"Nah, maybe she wants to get her sleep," Callen said.

"But what if she wants to have enough time to get ready and look over her schedule?" Karanah put in. We all thought about it. But we didn't have to wait long. Artemis sat up and glanced around at us.

"I guess that settles it!" I laughed.

"Hi, Artemis!" Callen smiled at her. "How did you sleep?"

"Fine, thanks…Callen, is it?" Artemis asked.

"Yes, that's me," Callen replied.

"Come on, you guys! Let's get going or we are going to be late!" Karanah told us as the walked out the door. I grabbed my clothes and followed her. Halfway down the hallway, a voice called out,

"Hey, Eli! Wait up!" It was Artemis. I slowed down a bit until she was walking alongside me. "So, you're in third year, too?" she asked.

"Yes, I am. What about you?" I replied.

"This is my first year. I feel sort of out of place with all your third yearers," Artemis smiled. She seemed pretty nice.

"Don't worry. You'll get used to it soon. The teachers are all really nice, so you don't really have to worry about that," I told her. We had arrived at the bathroom, so we each went into our separate stalls. After I dressed, I stood in front of the mirror and did my hair. I didn't feel like doing much to my hair, so I pulled it back with a headband. After Artemis was ready, we walked down to the cafeteria together. We each went our separate ways to get our food, promising each other to meet at a table after we finished.  After I got my breakfast of pancakes and sausage, I walked over to table number 16 and sat down to wait for Artemis. While I was waiting, I chatted with Kataira who had also pulled her hair back with a headband. It was also the same color. Blue. Our favorite. But this wasn't the first time we had dressed alike without even knowing it. Twins do that sometimes, you know? But for some reason, we do it a LOT. Maybe it's because of the fact that we have always stuck together since our parents died. But here was Artemis coming over with her lunch.

"Hi, Eli! What did you get to…" she suddenly stopped. "Wait a minute. There's TWO of you! Eli, you have a twin?" she asked.

"Yes, we're twins," Kataira and I said in unison. We looked at each other and laughed.

"Okay, then. Now how do I tell you two apart?" she asked, looking from one of us to the other.

"You don't!" I told her.

"And can you tell me how you two dressed exactly alike today? Did you plan it all out yesterday?" Artemis asked again.

"No, we didn't," Kataira explained.

"We often think alike. You know, in dressing and speaking terms. And of course in lots of other ways," I explained.

"Okay, then. That explains it a little bit. Now which one of you is Eli and which one is…" Artemis paused again.

"I'm Eli," I started.

"And I'm Kataira," Kataira finished. "Would you like to sit with us?"

"Sure!" Artemis answered. "But I thought that we would have to sit at our specific tables, right?"

"Well, we usually have to, but tables 14 and 16, that's Kataira and my rooms, you know, we signed up together to be able to exchange students. Just as long as there's no more than five girls at each table. And no boys are allowed," I stated.

"Good! And now, may we eat? My food is kinda getting cold," Artemis looked down at her food which was no longer steaming.

"Sure!" Kataira and I answered (together, of course). Artemis and Kataira laughed with me, and we sat down at our tables to eat.

About the classes. Two or three girls rooms and two or three boys rooms are put together. For example: 14, 16, 18 and 26, 27, 30.

Alamea—

I looked around the dorm room. The white curtains were closed, as not to let much light in. Lily’s place was empty together with Kataira’s. Jasmine was the only one who wasn’t up. I decided not to wake her and walked out of the room to the bathrooms.

The bathroom was empty except for some giggling first year girls who had gotten into some makeup. I stepped into the empty shower cabinet and turned on the steaming water.

My first day at GenkuSuh. Well, technically, it had been since Friday but that didn’t matter. This was officially my first day back at school.

I went through the memorized plan in my head. The small worries kept nagging at me bu tI dampened them by happy thoughts.

I got out of the shower, dried, and dressed in my school uniform. Then I braided my hair into its usual long braid and made my way to breakfast.

The tables had started to empty but I noticed Lilly, sitting alone at a table. She was probably waiting on me.

I quickly got a breakfast of toast with fresh honey, some grilled potatoes, a plate of strawberries and some milk. I walked up to Lily, whose nose was stuck in a newspaper.

“Hey Lilly!” I greeted her cheerfully.

“Hi,” was all she said.

“What are you reading?” I asked her.

“This! I can’t believe it! Look!”

She flattened the paper in front of me and I stared at the headline.

GENKUSUH, A PICK FOR THE MatoDyfi?

GenkuSuh, a boarding school situated in the desert kingdom of Kyriah, is being debated for the legendary MatoDyfi. They must take a group of boys and girls to go to this challenge and face what is put before them.

The question is if they should be picked. They have lost students in these before and as Mr. Nali said twenty years ago: “We will not take part in these anymore!”

But now there is a new director of the school. Will GenkuSuh be picked? Stay tuned in and we will give you the latest news on the MatoDyfi.

--Angelia Prank

I looked at Lilly in confusion.

“MatoDyfi? What’s that?”

“You haven’t heard of them!? These are legendary. Many schools are picked to participate in these games or challenges called the MatoDyfi. The winner is presented with a large prize. If we’re picked! It’s far off on the other sideof Kyriah…” Lilly sounded really happy at this.

“But you did see the part about them losing students…”

Lilly’s brow creased. “That’s rare… Really rare. Come on! We have fifteen minutes to get to math!”

We got upand ran towards the math room. My thoughts were still swirling around in confusion.

Forget that person's name is Lila. I had meant to change that before I posted it but like I said I was jsut about to leave. Okay so now that person's name is Freya.

//Lily//

When the cafeteria opened we went in. We decided to sit together because no one else was there.

"What room are you in?" I asked as we filled our plates with food. " 20. You? " " 14. That means we're on the same floor." "Good. Have you been asked to the dance yet?" "Yes, but I declined." "Well I am going with Jacob" (That is okay right) "What?!" I said in suprise. " Yeah he asked me after dinner last night"

We had by now finished. Freya looked at her watch. "It's only 7:02. Do you want to take a walk outside?" "Sure."

We walked out of the cafeteria onto the grounds. The sun had just come up over the horizon.  We walked around chatting. Before we knew it it was 8:30.

"We had better head back," said Freya. "Yes. What's your first class?" I asked as we walked up to the school. "Algebra. What's yours?" "Algebra." We both laughed, happy to be in the same class.

When we reached the school there were students everywhere heading for classes. Freya and I went to Miss. Godnder's classroom for Algebra. We went in, said good morning to Miss Godnder , and sat down at desks that were next two each other.

Other students started to file in sitting down at the desks. The class began right at 8:40. I tryed my best to pay attention even though this was my worst subject.

.....

Finally it was over. We walked out of the classroom. "Well that wasn't so bad. She didn't give us a whole lot of homework," I said with a smile. As we walked toward history I thought about dance. I was so excited I would finally be able to have classes again.

I really hope this doesn't interfere with anyone else's. I was working on it last night and only just now able to finish it up.

meet at a table after we finished.  After I got my
breakfast of toast and fried eggs, I hurried over to table 16, where Eli was waiting.

"Hi, Eli! What did you get to…" I suddenly stopped talking. "Wait a minute. There's TWO of you! Eli, you have a twin?" I asked.
