NAME: Tear Ivy
SPECIES: wolf (canis lupis)
JOB/TITLE: healer, hunter
APPEARANCE: Tear Ivy is slender but strong in build, with thick, soft fur and long legs. Her fur is silver, with flecks of white and black mingled amongst. Her eyes are a bright green, like the color of newly sprouting leaves.
PERSONALITY: She is quiet and shy, but when she has something to say, she will say it. Tear Ivy is gentle and softspoken, and would do anything for her family.
HOME: She wanders, but she usually stays around her den beneath the tangled roots of a willow tree.
MOST OFTEN SEEN AT: Usually seen sitting and staring thoughtfully into the distance. She most often is in nature, preferring the quietness of it to more civilized areas.
FRIEND OR MENTOR: All of her healing methods were taught to her by an old raven named Hydrabinder.
ENEMY OR RIVAL: She takes no enemies, but she has a strange phobia of chickens.
FAVORITE POSSESSION OR OBJECT: She does not have many belongings, but perhaps her most important possession is a beautiful necklace made of ivy vines with a mysterious crystal dangling from it.

STRENGTHS: She knows many healing methods, and her herbal knowledge is incredible. She is quite agile.
WEAKNESSES: She is afraid of killing any other being, and in times of hunger, she resorts to eating berries or asking for food from other animals. She also does not like fighting, but actually is good at it. Humble, almost too much.
BACKGROUND: Her origins are unknown, but the scars scattered across her pelt tell of worse times than these.

Appearance: A humanoid leopard with dark purple fur that has pale yellow spots that look ilke stars. Cream/off-white underbelly. Pale blue eyes.

Personality: friendly, but a little weird. Doesn't mind people unless they automatically get on their nerves.

Most often seen at: anywhere.

Friend or mentor: I'm new here I don't know anyone

Enemy or rival: currently no one.

Favorite possession or object: doesn't really have one

Motto or favorite saying: "Only dead fish go with the flow."

Strengths: good at fighting, very sarcastic, is relatively okay at turning an insult on the person who said it.

Weaknesses: loud, overly cheerful people, the smell of salt water, soap.

Background: they have no idea who their parents are, they don't know where they came from, they just roam.

NAME: Eclipse Shadefriend

SPECIES: wolf. Just a wolf, definitely not descended from the holder of the Power of Howl.

JOB/TITLE: works as a mercenary and bounty hunter.

APPEARANCE: wolf with unusual midnight black fur. Eyes shimmer yellow, green, or orange in different light.

PERSONALITY: quiet and reserved, good at keeping secrets. Rather brave.

HOME: moves around a lot

MOST OFTEN SEEN AT: taverns and inns, wearing a night-colored cloak.

FRIEND OR MENTOR: a little hummingbird named Quetzal, who tends to be prone to sudden mood swings. Usually chiding Eclipse for agreeing to a particular job.

ENEMY OR RIVAL: her younger sister, Scorchblaze. (Scorchblaze is rather small for her age, and has mottled light brown fur that glints orange and gold in firelight. Her eyes glitter malevolent orange/yellow.) and her father, Lightbane. (more about him in Background)

FAVORITE POSSESSION OR OBJECT: her cloak, particularly the silver pin holding it in place, which is engraved with the Shadefriend pack crest (a side view of a dragon with its wings stretched out in flight)

MOTTO OR FAVORITE SAYING: “well, that’s exactly how it goes.”

STRENGTHS: reasonably good at fighting, especially if being helped.

WEAKNESSES: doesn't listen to advice, particularly if it’s being given by a human

BACKGROUND: the Shadefriend pack used to be well-known among wolves, until the alpha, Shineforest, was killed by Eclipse’s cruel, greedy father, Lightbane. Under Lightbane’s rule, the Shadefriend pack was scattered. Lightbane tried to kill all possible heirs to his position. Eclipse barely escaped. (Scorchblaze made a deal with Lightbane, and promised to help Lightbane track down Eclipse.) Eclipse fled, eventually being found by Quetzal, the hummingbird, who taught Eclipse about how to quickly assess a situation and make logical decisions (Eclipse didn’t listen about the last one). 

I know it's a little early but I'm going to post a character sheet here just because I think I need some time to get equated with writing on Kyngdom. I'll probably start an rp thread as well but just keep it to myself so I can get used to Kyngdom again haha. As well as maybe bring back some of my old charries? IDK. I might completely restart tbh. Anyway, here's my new charrie that I'll be using.

NAME: Doctor Yevgeniy “Genya” Mikhailovich Lipovsky (usually goes by Doctor Lipovsky)

SPECIES: Vampire of the Alekhin Line. (The Alekhin Line of vampires is a lineage of vampires that started in the northeast with the ancient vampire lord named Boris Alekhin. They are unrelated to the vampire lines of SailHaven, and as such have different abilities and culture.) He keeps his vampiric nature a closely guarded secret.

JOB/TITLE: A scientist, who specializes in Thanatology, the study of death (and in Kyngdom, necromancy.) He heads a laboratory called “Laboratoriya Nezhiti”. 

APPEARANCE:  Pale, almost cadaverous white skin. Thin and small, only about 5’6”. He has dark brown hair (nearly black, but not quite) that’s about chin length and is wavy. His eyes are usually a deep brown, but can turn to sudden sharp silver. He wears long overcoats and waistcoats, always dressing formally. His canine teeth are a bit too pointed for a human, but he is able to keep them hidden. Sometimes he ties his hair back into a short ponytail, usually when he’s working. He’s in his late twenties to early thirties. (Literally– despite being a vampire, he was actually turned rather recently and has not lived for hundreds of years or anything.)

PERSONALITY: INTJ. Brilliant and analytic, aloof at times and can be incredibly antisocial. He enjoys dissecting situations like they are data points, and sometimes removes emotion entirely from the equation. Lipovsky has a tendency to come off as pretentious or rude; he has no problem with pointing out flaws in others’ methodologies. Fiercely determined and curious. His primary goal is to study necromancy and the undead. He is highly organized as well as intelligent, but can struggle in highly emotional situations due to his general lack of connection with other people.

HOME: He was born in Ledyanaya, a nation to the northeast of Kyngdom. However, his family immigrated to Kyngdom when he was quite young. He now lives in a flat in the city of Mozgrad, which is located in northeast Kyngdom and boasts a high population of those from Ledyanaya.

MOST OFTEN SEEN AT: His office in Laboratoriya Nezhiti.

FRIEND OR MENTOR: Doctor Konstantin Fedorov, the vampire who turned him; Doctor Isak Hansen, who runs Laboratoriya with him as well as attended University with him.

ENEMY OR RIVAL: He easily makes rivals in academia, however, Lipovsky doesn’t truly consider anyone his “enemy”.

FAVORITE POSSESSION OR OBJECT: His cravat pin, which is decorated with rubies and made of steel and silver.

MOTTO OR FAVORITE SAYING: “Sapienta sola libertas est”, a Latin phrase meaning “Only wisdom is freedom.”

STRENGTHS: As a vampire, he has heightened senses and is generally able to avoid most diseases. He can also use echolocation to “see” in the dark and is able to go long periods of time without sleep. Lipovsky is also highly intelligent and has a lot of medical knowledge. He’s not actually a Doctor of medicine, but he can absolutely serve as a medic if needed. In addition, he has studied necromancy enough that he has a basic understanding of dark magic and how to use it, though he’s not exceptionally gifted with it. He does have the ability to heal at a faster rate than humans, but it’s not much faster.

WEAKNESSES: Anything that can hurt a person can indeed hurt Lipovsky. He’s especially vulnerable to silver– which his swift healing does not work on– and sunlight, which will burn him after about an hour of exposure. Light magic is also more effective on him, as are stakes and other traditional vampire slaying things.

BACKGROUND: Honestly, I managed to explain most of this by accident in the above sections. Lipovsky was born in Ledyanaya, but his family moved to Kyngdom when he was about three. He grew up in a small town in the Northeast. An exceptionally advanced student, Lipovsky entered a university within Mozgrad at the age of 16 (about a year before the beginning of the war.) Despite Catastrophe’s return, Lipovsky was still determined to complete his education and he did. During his time at the university, when he was in his twenties, he was turned into a vampire. He did this willingly as he wanted to study the undead personally, and what better way to do that than be undead yourself? Since then, he has opened up Laboratoriya and continued his research.

Favorite possession: A tire swing

Motto or favorite saying: If at first you don’t succeed... play in a tire swing.

Strengths: Nerdiness. Likes to study multi variable calculus in his free time, like that the gradient means the direction of fastest increase.

Weaknesses: Emotion. Can break down when someone mentions a lamb while eating lamb sausage.

Background: Grew up in Hokkaido, Japan, as a therapy Monkey. He didn’t fit in with his class of aspiring monkey therapists, because he would study calculus in his free time and that he took English at his local community college. One day, he got sucked into Southeast Kyngdom by a portal where a Nobyl family adopted him and made him Southeast Kyngdom mascot. He now lives a double life: half in Japan, half in Kyngdom.
