hello everyone I

hello everyone I would like to introduce myself: I'm fairly new here, my name is Moonshadow and I'm a pure white wolf. I understand there's another Moonshaddow, but I prommise you I came up with that name and did not copy. Here's my story: I was only a young pup, it was winter in the western highlands, and I was walking home from a hunt. Well, my family never exactly ate meat, we tried to eat mostly fruit and berries. We loved the other animals and didn't want to kill them. It was so long ago, but I remember it so well. My father was sitting in his favorite nook of the den, mother lying beside him. I was listening closely to the story he was telling, as I did every night. I can still hear the shot being fired, and the terrible sound of mother's howls of pain. My father ran to her, but it was too late. Then he went down as well. I can still recall his last breath, his strong voice telling me he loved me and to run. Tears streamed down my face as I ran,I felt a sharp pain in my back left paw and fell. I forced myself to find my feet again as the cold flakes of the on coming blizzard landed on my bruised muzzle. I loved my family, my friends, my home. My heart ached at the thought that I would never see them again. That's when I heard it. Two voices arguing. "I'm so cold!why can't we just sleep here tonight?" "Are you crazy! We could freeze! Or be eaten! No, no we need to keep going." "How much further to the fortress?" "Be patient Emilia! I know it's around here somewhere."  My heart froze. They were approaching. I walked over to a small bramble bush as quietly as I could. From where I was hiding, a could a normal middle sized fawn, by the looks of her not much younger than myself, and following her,*gasp*, a, a, HUMAN GIRL!!! It was humans that killed my parents! I wanted to growl, but bit my tongue. The young fawn looked in my direction, and my heart skipped a beat. "Emilia! Emilia, look! A wolf pup!" She cried. I didn't know what to do, so I let my instincts take over. I leapt out of the briars, letting out the most bone-chilling bark/growl/howl I could muster. I charged the girl, then taking control of myself again, stopped. Did I really want to kill her? "Hey, puppy?" She held out her hand nervously. Humans!!! Rage seethed inside of me. I was a very rare, powerful and beautiful White Wolf! Not some, some, helpless little puppy! "Who do you think you are!?!?" I said in spite of myself. I knew she couldn't understand me, but for once I wished I could speak with humans. "Oh, I'm sorry."she said. "I,I didn't know, I mean, most dogs sniff your hands when you hold them out." I was surprised at this answer. She talked like knew what I had said. "Excuse me?" I said. "You can't understand me, can you?" I asked. "Oh, well I guess I can! I just discovered that I can talk to animals yesterday! You see, well it's a long story. Why don't you come to the fortress with us? We can share our stories over dinner!" "You have a fortress?" I asked. This time the fawn answered. "Well, it's a bunch of trees growing together into a sort of cave like place in the southern woodlands that my sisters and I discovered. We called it the fortress." So I went with them and learned that the girls name was Emilia and she grew up in a the city of sprocketville, but had a window with a view of the highlands. She wanted to live there her entire life, but could only daydream about it. Emilia had always loved animals. A few months back, she had overheard her parents talking to her sister about something called the Brazen Inquiry Guild, B.I.G. for short. She heard about the terrible things they did to animals there, and how they thought animals had no feelings, no intelligence. But worst of all her sister had gotten an offer and accepted, and her parents supported her! She ran to her room and cried. After that she packed her bag and left. She climbed out her window and headed for the western highlands. I also learned that the fawn's name was rain, and that some people from B.I.G. set her house on fire, and she was the only one to escape the carriage that took her family away. The morning after, her house nothing more than a pile of ashes and dust, she set off for the "fortress" she and her sisters had found in woods of the highlands. She and Emilia met up and went to the fortress together, and that's how I met them. We heard about the fur and feathers association, and wanted to join. After all what better thing do we have to do than work against B.I.G.?
