POWER ORIGIN IDEAS

POWER ORIGIN IDEAS

This thread's purpose is to contain theories and stories about how the Powers came about and what they could be- besides the Powers of Wing and Claw. I'll post my stories as soon as I come up with them.

Admin: After a week or two, we will create a poll so everyone can vote on which origin story they like best! We might even combine more than one story.

Now I should probably start creating my stories. Admins, do you have any preference to what the Powers end up being? Well, Wing and Claw are parts of an animal, so maybe the others are the Powers of Tail, Fin, and maybe Ear? Or Eye? Ah, Power of Sound and Power of Sight! Right? Well, it might help to know how many Powers there are..... I think four is good, also at the top of the forum it says "Power of Wing," "Coming Soon," "Coming Soon," and "Coming Soon." So the "Coming Soons" could be the Powers of Claw, Tail, and Fin (maybe)? Wing, Claw, Tail, Fin. These four Powers are a win!

Admin: We're all making this story together! Write what inspires you the most.

thats a good idea, but Admins already said that I could have the Power of Howl. My charries dad was the guardian but he never knew. And they also said that Claaws could have the power of Darkness. Maybe there could be five or six powers?

Here is my power origin idea:

There were once four/five/six(however many powers we decide on) mythical creatures (maybe, a dragon, a gryphon, a Phoenix, an Ice Phoenix, Pegasus, other things like that) they could each shift into the form of something to do with the powers (for example, if the pegusus was for the power of wing, it could shape shift into a bird of some sort, but it already has wings as well or a sea dragon would be for the power of fin and could shift to a fish, etc.) they were immortal and they were the first creatures to live in Kyngdom. They were so powerful, almost nothing could stand against them. But they weren't evil, they meant good. They knew that Kyngdom would come to great peril someday, and when that day came, the good animals of Kyngdom (and people that weren't evil) would need them again. So they created stone like instruments that if one played, it would summon one of the beasts. They shifted to their animal form (fish, bird, badger, etc) and guarded the powers with their life. But, though they were immortal, they couldn't live in Kyngdom forever, or they would become regular, mortal creatures again and never be able to shift into their mythical form again. They took to their old worlds where they lived before they made Kyngdom. (Sea dragon=ocean world Pegasus=sky world etc.) but before they left, they handed the powers down to an animal of the kind to guard that power (power of wing=crow power of claw=badger power of howl=wolf) and they handed it down through the generations until it got to Zephyra, the badger, my uncle, and anyone else that's a guardian. Who likes this Idea? I think the powers should be: The power of Wing, The Power of Claw, The Power of Fin,(Kasumi made it up) The Power of Tail, (Kasumi again) The Power of Darkness (Claaws made it up) and The Power of Howl (I made it up) and the corresponding creatures: The Power of   Wing= Gryphon it can shape-shift into a bird. Claw=Dragon/badger   Fin=Sea Dragon/fish(maybe even a dolphin or whale)   Tail=Pegasus/cat (Panther?)    I will post darkness and howl later when I figure them out. Please comment saying if you like or don't like this idea.

Okay so Claaws is from the power of darkness, but that was originally called the power of tooth. I like the power of fin, but maybe it could be called the power of webbed instead? And maybe the power of webbed could release a sea monster, ad the power of claw a giant slurp ain't with gaint claws. And maybe each power could be part of the beast, like a feather for the power of wing, a tooth for the power of tooth (later chagrd to darkness), a claw for power of claw, and a webbed spike for the power of webbed (power of fin?)

Ckaaws could be a creatur realesed a long time ago, when the war with scientists had just started, but needed all her siblings to conquer the scientists and rule the world again. The powers also have a special peatle inside that grants the wearer all power, magic, and greatness.

the backround story is that the four creatures found theses peatles, and put them in a claw, tooth, feather, and fin, so the power was forever theirs to . And with the power they ruled the world, power of fin ruled the sea, power of feather ruled the sky, power of claw rulers the land, and at night the power of tooth (soon after called the power of darkness) ruled everything. Put one day there was a war, people and animals alike worked togeather to kill the power's carriers. But, since the peatle was still theirs to give them power, at one blow through the instruments these objects were now formed as, the creatures would be given life back from the peatle and have the powers to themselves again. But since humans have so little memory, they forgat they were non sapost to blow the instruments, and have managed to summon half of them already,

tell me what you think! :)

Admin, isn't this unfair? I had the idea first. How come other people can steal my idea?

The Flower-Carrier

The Flower-Carrier, a small, young, mermaid, is the picture of innocence. She lives much upstream of the Lioncrook Falls (http://www.cricketmagkids.com/chatterbox/kyngdom-wing/node/201131) and plays in the horizon.

As her name suggests, she carries a mystical plant in her right hand, a flower with no name. Legend has it that within this flower, the petals contain an amazing power that no one in Kyngdom can even imagine.

The petals glow gold, the same gold color that poor Zephyra spotted before she was captured by the scientists.

Legend also has it that every few centuries (She doesn't age), the Flower-Carrier leaves her home, plucks out one of the petals, which changes into a Power, and hides it somewhere.

These Powers can be in the form of anything. One is an instrument, called the Power of Wing. It's unknown what the forms of the other Powers are.

Here is a picture of the Flower-Carrier:

We're so thrilled to read your ideas, Lucy/Xiaolong, and everyone else's! You were the first to post an idea for the origin of the Powers, and that's proving to be an exciting topic. But remember, we're all building this story together—we want to make sure everyone is heard. That's why we're opening this thread up for other writers to post their ideas. We'll have a poll at the end, so everyone can pick their favorites. We might even combine several.

This is how we make decisions for Cricket Magazine stories, too. Sometimes when you're doing creative work, you have to discard or change things you really like so the whole project works better. A famous bit of writing advice puts it this way: "In writing, you must kill all your darlings."
