Power of howl

Power of howl

This post is for Moonshadow and I (and anybody else who has an idea) to plan and create the power of howl story.

Read Claaws' background story for all the powers on the power origin thread and see if you like it. I like it :-) also really sorry if I sounded rude or mean before. I just get kinda snappish when I'm afraid an idea that I came up with is going to get taken away, or something's gonna be unfair to me. :)

It was a clear, moonlit night. Each star in the sky shimmered with all the light and beauty of the night. The Angel Wolf soared through the sky, her wings glistening, her blue eyes bright as stars. Her fur was as light itself, and her face was beauty itself. She landed on the edge of a cliff. She lifted her face to the moon, and howled. Her voice rang out into the heavens, as clear and radient as  light itself. A single, resounding note filled the air around her with magic. Her wings folded on her sides seemed to glow. Then, a dagger whizzed through the air, the Angel Wolf spread her wings, but the dagger embedded itself, dead center in her chest. She fell gently to the ground, her body seemed to float, and lie there. Her breaths grew shallow, and her body was slowly fading from vision  The animals of the forest drew near to watch, and as she drew her last breath, she let out a single, resounding note, so beautiful, so radiant, so bright, it lit each star with a burning fire and brought tears to all who heard it. A single, mournful note. For the angel wolf knew that she would never again soar the sky, never sing to the moon, to the night, until the stars rained down from the heavens. Her blood was irredescent in the moonlit forest. Her body fading, fading, slowly from sight  Then as she died, and her body faded, her spirit rose, outlined in gold, flying up toward the stars. But that howl, that last mournful note, was magic. And a single star fell when the Angel Wolf fell. Silver, radiant, magical. The animals shielded their eyes from the light. Then the howl echoed off of the mountains, and the star and voice became one, an instrument that when blown would sound the howl and summon the Angel Wolf back to Kyngdom. Engraved on it were strange letters, and the end looked like a wolf howling. Then a voice spoke. It was the Angel Wolf's voice, and she said clear, and rich, 'one wolf shall take the instrument and guard it forever, never let it fall into the wrong hands. Pass it down to you're children and grandchildren until the stars rain down from the heavens. For I am a star and this instrument has the power to summon me back, by The Power of Howl.'
